Our friends recommended B&B for my birthday meat shopping
Michele P.

Our longtime friends recommended this great butcher shop with the added bonus of a coffee bar. The husband, Brent, follows in his Grandfather's footsteps as the butcher who knows his meat sources and cuts them onsite. He even has a locker of aged meats. His wife, Jennifer, is the barista, and even though we'd already had coffee at home, I did check out their menu, plus their bags of coffee. I'm pretty certain it's all fair trade and quality product bc they are so proud of their product and can tell you everything about what they sell, including their chocolates. One of their customers was even a neighbor who produces the bloody mary mix that they sell. Some of their beef is still on the hoof right around the corner. They carry Florida meats, even the land when it is in stock. My husband asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday and I said I wanted to shop at Butcher & bean, and boy did we! We bought sausages with gummies, habanero, sriracha, herbs- we tried 3? flavors last night and really had fun! We grilled them and had them either farro pilaf and hawaiian pretzel rolls and that was all we needed. Since it was my birthday, my sweet husband splurged on my favorite - one of the giant tomahawks in the case, and yes I know you pay for a bone, but that's almost my favorite part and it adds so much flavor! because my habanero is now famous in 3 states for smoked brisket, lol, he bought a 20 pounder with the fat cap which is where the juice and flavor come from, but they will sell you a flat if that's what you want . We also bought two thick, succulent pork chops, and will be back for their brisket burgers. Even though business was quite steady on a Saturday, the staff were friendly and chatted with everyone, mostly regulars. They are located on US1 in a strip mall, do watch for them even with gps. They are halal & kosher friendly and can cater to Jewish and Muslim dietary needs. Our friends have certain restrictions and know when they are buying grass fed or grass finished &/or organic products. Talk to them, they are good, honest people who know their product farm to table. Awesome.

TG & NG with the Owner of the Butcher Shop - A photo shows two customers taking a selfie inside a craft butchery. The woman on the left has gray hair and is smiling, wearing a striped top and a cross necklace. The man on the right has dark hair, glasses, and a beard, wearing a dark T-shirt. In the background, a staff member with tattoos, a beard, and a white cap is making a peace sign. The wall behind features a sign that reads 'Craft Butchery' with decorative elements and a painted image of a piece of meat and a knife.

Very welcoming the coffee was excellent, we were lucky enough to meet the owners of this very very cool and unique business model. I wish there was a location where we lived. If you're reading this you should get in your car plane or train and go to Butcher & Bean it's a GREAT joint !!!!

Excellent beef tenderloin - Slices of cooked beef tenderloin, showing a pink interior and brown exterior, are arranged on a ceramic plate with a green zigzag border. The plate is on a table with a holiday-themed table runner featuring Christmas trees and presents. A glass container and a cloth are partially visible nearby, and the background includes a white wall and wooden flooring.

If Publix came north they'd put Acme, ShopRite, Giant and Food Lion out of business. I've been…read moresaying that since 1996 and I still feel that way today. They always have enough checkout lines open. All these open checkout lines always have someone who bags your groceries. That hasn't happened in the northeast in 10 years. BOGO's each week. This particular Publix is conveniently located and staffed with caring employee owners. Love Publix.

Tables are greasy, slimy & just filthy - there are No Wet ones to use to wipe down before eating, nor Sanitizer station. I was there enjoying lunch for over 30 min & no one came in to check. 1-elder employee sitting on left side round tales, with his entire legs up on the benches to sit enjoying his phone time. Another one using the entire 4-chair table - eating alone on phone, left -did not pick up after herself - Gentleman in front of her was sucking on a bucket of chicken, throwing bones on the table, clean sucking his fingers as he had no napkins, got up & left his mess. When friend & I were done lunch, we cleaned our area as well as we could, as there is no Wet ones or wet cleaning area to clean up after yourself. Total sitting area was not inviting, so who ever designed your new store area, was not thinking that Shopping was a pleasure, for families, singles or children to eat ,,,especially with all the viruses going around. I am a loyal Publix customer, but will stay on my side of the bridge to eat, shop & enjoy Publix.
