Come day of the move, we had Didar and Adai help. Everything went incredibly smooth - they helped us wrap fragile furniture and move everything to and from the moving truck to our new apartment. We really did not lift a finger - even when we tried, they politely told us to relax and they'd do all the heavy lifting (pun intended :)). They did not waste any time in our move (as costs do increase after a certain hour amount) and were as speedy as could be. Not too sure what happened with my move. Based on almost every single review it seems off to have such a terrible experience but here I am venting my frustration...... Movers were friendly aside from speaking a language I didn't understand amongst themselves. So where did it all go wrong? Well it started when they repacked all my boxes into bigger boxes. Boxes, boxes, and more boxes. Why? A tactic to waste time but still make it seem as if they were hard at work. Congratulations, you fooled me. Not! When did it get worse? When they discreetly put a gigantic hole in my mattress and placed it up against the wall so I wouldn't notice till the next day. But it's ok right, that's why you hire a professional moving company to prevent damaging your home goods and if something does accidentally happen there's insurance right? Wrong..... here I am a week later after numerous attempts at getting reimbursed for the damage but still not luck. No returned calls, no response to text messages, Nothing. Just simply ignored. Ohh and guess what? Remember all the boxes? At the end of the move they tried to charge me $20 per box. As if I needed more boxes!!! So there you have it.... Sneaky, sneaky business tactics. Alex and Nurbek came to help me move my one bedroom into a 2 bedroom apartment that was in a commercial area on the second floor. The area was busy but they made it work. They made sure to shrink wrap and cloth wrap all my furniture, took their time and didn't rush, and were so communicative. They also helped pack my clothes in the wardrobe boxes as well. Little delayed on this review. We moved within the same city about a week ago and used busy bees. We had a few hiccups with some delays on the day but once I reached out- the team was on track and responsive. Dan, Nick and John were great movers. They didn't waste time (because they said they said time is money) and were very careful with our stuff and our new place. They even went out of their way in their own dime to get rid of the stuff we weren't taking to our new place. The move did take longer than estimated (expected) and we did loose a box but when I reached out to ask if they had it- they called back immediately to say they double checked the truck. Do not under any circumstances hire this company. I hired this company to pack and move my family from Newport Beach to Irvine. The movers took a tremendously long time to pack the house, including one mover who took 8 hours to pack a small kitchen. My kids toys that were nicely organized/sorted in bins already were all emptied into a large box for me to sort when I got to the new home. My clean clothes were packed in the same boxes as my potted plants, so I had to re-wash several loads of clothes. Instead of hanging my clothes in the wardrobe box, my hung up clothes were all shoved into a wardrobe box, breaking many hangers in the process. When they finished a roll of tape or shrink wrap, they threw the empty roll into the boxes for me to unpack and throw away while trying to unpack in my new home. Finally, they broke my stationary bike. While many of the reviews are positive, I wish I had scrolled further to those who had negative experiences. read more

I was surprised that they were able to fit me in during the holidays since I was looking to move by the end of the year but didn't start looking until a little over a week before my deadline (my procrastination.) After looking at and reaching out to several businesses, I found Busy Bee Movers to have reasonable rates that were transparent and felt suitable based on the quality of communication. They made sure that I was aware of all rates charges in case I missed reading them in their initial contact message! I truly appreciated that. The movers did a fantastic job. I had Miguel, Daniel, and Dee (sorry, I'm not sure how to spell his name. Maybe Deiter?), and they were professional and careful with my items. I was in an uncommon situation where the door to my old unit had to be removed to take out my fridge, mattress, and box spring. I gave them a heads up, and they had the tools needed to make sure it was done right. As far as I can tell, nothing scraped against the walls in the narrow stairway or hallway, and my old landlord didn't reach out to me for any issues with the doors after the movers replaced them! That's a lot more than I can say about the people who moved me in there a year prior from a different company. It began lightly raining, so they had a blanket and wrapped my fridge to make sure it stayed dry which I really liked. The part that I was most appreciative of was that they had this little roll-out mat (like a utility version of a red carpet) that they used at my new unit to reduce chance of damage to the new floors when they brought things in! It also helped to reduce the cleaning I'd need to do from the unavoidable rain. Daniel was very communicative in making sure everything was done the way I wanted. I called a few places off of Yelp and as soon as I talked to Nick I felt at ease. He walked me through the process, gathering all my information and quote. These movers were nice guys and worked really hard. However, they didn't take as much care with our things as we would've hoped and a lot of our items were damaged. We noticed some of the damages at the end of the move so we brought it to their attention and received $100 off of the move. It didn't cover the cost of the items, but we decided it was fair enough in the moment. Unfortunately, after the movers left we continued to notice that more things had been damaged than we realized. Some of the items were irreplaceable and some were expensive. We felt like it was important for us to write an honest review of our experience for anyone looking for movers. I recently hired Busy Bee Movers to move some heavy furniture from my friend's house to my apartment, as well as get rid of some old objects/move large items into my apartment complex's dumpster. Wow--- I was genuinely impressed with the entire process. From the very beginning, Stan, was incredibly responsive and professional. He answered my Yelp request almost immediately, which was especially helpful since I was in a bit stressed trying to find help on a Sunday with less than 24 hours' notice. Haazat and Didar showed up right on time, and were very friendly and approachable. They were skilled & brought a wonderful energy that made the whole experience feel much less daunting. I had a lot of heavy items to move, including a marble table, a mattress, huge bean bag chair, an armchair, a large L-couch, and a glass table, and they approached each task with care and consideration. They also were so generous --- they helped move incredibly heavy things within the home, too (e.g., workout equipment that was staying at the first location). They're very strong! The transit time was about 45-50 minutes to the second location and they were very efficient. It was a hot summer day, so I am extra grateful that they maintained a positive attitude and worked diligently. Their professionalism really shone through as they took the time to ensure everything was loaded securely and unloaded carefully. It was great having conversation with them, too - they're both great to get to know! I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly they completed the move, and I felt that the pricing was very reasonable compared to other companies I had looked into. Overall, this experience far exceeded my expectations, and I am truly grateful for the hard work and support from Stan, Haazat, and Didar.
