Doky and Aman did a great job with moving my things between apartments. They communicated their arrival time well and moved the boxes and packed all the furniture very efficiently. They were very friendly and made me feel at easy about the move. I highly recommend using busy bee movers! read more

In my opinion they are unbeatable in terms of price and speed. I called in and Mike helped me schedule something in such short notice. I called in at 1PM and they had someone scheduled to come between 5PM-7PM. I rescheduled initially to the next day from 12PM-2PM, but I needed a mover immediately that day. Mike still accommodated and had the movers get to the location by 6:30PM even though I called at 5PM asking if it was still possible to come in that day. Highly recommended! read more

I've moved a lot and these are the BEST movers I have had by far! Khamzat, Farruh and Ben were professional, friendly, and fast! Thank you for excellent service. I would definitely use them again! read more

Beware! If you want your move to start as scheduled this company is not for you! This company doesn't honor scheduling and will push your appointment to squeeze in other smaller jobs so their employees don't stand idle. They have no professionalism . They don't honor their scheduling and especially their customers time! So I have been contacting this company for a move to empty my garage. Nick kept pushing the time from 1 to 2 to 3 for a 3 hours move! Meaning it will finish 6 pm! Very disappointed. Nick was professional but mismanagement caused this problem. So go with another company and save yourself the stress! read more

Nick was very polite, professional and helpful! I highly recommend this company. Thank you

We want to especially thank Nick, who was assigned as our personal moving consultant for our long-distance move. Nick was incredibly patient with us throughout the process, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure all of our questions were answered. He also arranged for Dan to come out and provide us with an in-person estimate, which we really appreciated because it made the process feel more accurate and trustworthy. Nick assured us that experienced movers would be assigned to our move, which gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind. He was professional, responsive, and also helped us secure a very competitive rate. Dan and his team absolutely delivered on that promise. The move was completed over two days -- on the first day, a team of 4 handled the loading, and on the second day, Dan and Ernie completed the unloading. They were professional, careful, and hardworking throughout the entire move. They took the time to properly wrap and protect our large furniture items and handled everything with great care. They never seemed rushed just to get the job done quickly, which we really appreciated. The entire process was smooth, organized, and stress-free. We truly appreciated everyone's professionalism, attention to detail, and positive attitude. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy movers. read more

I recently hired Busy Bee Movers for a local move (7 minute drive) and want to share an honest, balanced recap--both to thank the team and to flag the few issues still open. What impressed me: Seamless booking & estimate My first call with Stan was excellent. He patiently walked through my step‑by‑step task list, reviewed the photos of every piece of furniture I'd sent, and confirmed that his original quote should cover the job in full. Careful handling The two‑person crew arrived a little late (their previous customer hadn't packed), but once on‑site they worked efficiently and preferred to manage items themselves. They noted every pre‑existing nick or scratch and even powered up the electronics before wrapping--professional touches I appreciated. Quick problem‑solving A miscommunication between Stan and Manager Mike meant the movers left without mounting two TVs as planned. I called Stan the next morning; within hours he dispatched a tech who hung both sets perfectly--no additional charge and no questions asked. Where there's room to improve 30‑minute overrun The move ran about half an hour past the quoted time. Given the extra care the crew took wrapping and labeling, the overage felt reasonable to me, but a heads‑up text if a job is trending long would be helpful for planning. Minor damage to two pieces My bookshelf and coffee table were scuffed during the move. I've sent photos, the coffee‑table receipt, and a Marketplace listing showing the bookshelf's value to Mike. He's committed to picking up the damaged pieces and replacing them with comparable items; I'll update this review once that's complete. Late arrival notice An ETA text when the crew realized they'd be late would have reduced some stress. Bottom line From intake to follow‑up, Busy Bee demonstrated genuine customer focus. The slight overrun felt fair given the care they took, and management has been proactive about making the damages right--giving me confidence the last details will be wrapped up soon. If you value movers who communicate, treat your belongings with respect, and own any hiccups, Busy Bee is a strong choice. If they follow-thru and meet my expectation around replacing the damaged items, I will for sure use them again on my next move! read more

1 star Review Do NOT be fooled by the low hourly rate. It may look cheap at first, but you will likely end up paying more because the move drags on far longer than it should. We moved from a 600 sq ft 1-bedroom ADU into a 1-bedroom apartment, and most of our items were already packed. The day before the move, my boyfriend and his friend had already moved about half of our belongings, including almost everything from the kitchen. In other words, the movers had significantly less work than a normal move. Despite that, the move somehow took 7 hours and 15 minutes. For comparison, our previous move with more items took about 5 hours total in a single move, which made this timeline extremely questionable. During the move we repeatedly noticed the workers: * wrapping items extremely slowly * standing around doing nothing and staring off for long stretches * picking up small random items instead of prioritizing large furniture, even when asked to focus on the bigger pieces * moving with absolutely no sense of urgency On top of that, my boyfriend, his friend, and I were also helping move items during the process, which should have made the move go even faster. The driving distance was also extremely short. One stop was only 10 minutes away, and our new apartment was about 8 minutes away. Even at the first stop, there was very little to move. They only moved a fridge, two pieces of a shed, and a small plastic shelf. We had also told them multiple times to load the fridge last since we needed to drop it off first, but they blocked it with a smoker. Because of that, they had to remove the smoker first, move the fridge, and then move the smoker again, wasting additional time. They also left for the first stop before my boyfriend and his friend, yet somehow arrived 10-15 minutes after them, even though they already had the address and it was a straightforward residential location. It took them so long that my boyfriend even had to call the owner to ask where they were. There is simply no logical reason a small 600 sq ft move with half the items already gone should take over 7 hours, especially when they also had help. We ended up paying $781 in cash, and it would have been even more otherwise since Zelle or other payment apps are charged at a higher rate. When we contacted the owner afterward to express concerns about how unusually long the move took, he refused to adjust the price, became extremely defensive, and said he doesn't mind receiving a bad review. At the end of the day, the low hourly rate feels misleading because the slow pace completely cancels out any savings. A company with a higher hourly rate but efficient movers would likely finish in half the time and cost the same or even less. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind during an already stressful move, I strongly recommend choosing a different moving company. For reference, I've attached photos showing the amount of furniture that was moved, plus 3 clothing hanger boxes (contained clothes and miscellaneous items) and a larger fridge (which we helped bring out) that are not pictured. In the photo with all the boxes, we had already moved almost all of them ourselves the day before. The movers only handled the four boxes in the middle of that photo with tape on them. You can decide for yourself whether this looks like a 7 hour and 15 minute, nearly $800 job. EDIT: The owner claimed that another moving company slowed things down because of the elevator. In reality, the elevator was never tied up, and the other move actually finished while ours was still going. I also have time-stamped messages from during the move where we were already discussing how unusually slow the pace was at the first location, before the truck had even left. The owner is now claiming this situation is "review manipulation" because multiple people who were physically present during the move left reviews about the same experience. Three people were there the entire time helping with the move, so of course their accounts of what happened are similar. They all witnessed the same job. Leaving an honest, real review about our experience is exactly what review platforms exist for. The owner is free to disagree, but he was not present during the move at all, so his response is based on what he was told afterwards. Trying to frame multiple witnesses sharing the same experience as "review manipulation" and trying to remove them says more about how this company handles criticism than anything else. read more

Absolutely terrible experience - avoid Busy Bee Movers at all costs. I hired Busy Bee Movers to move my family from our old home in Newport Beach to a new home also in Newport Beach. We did a full video walkthrough beforehand, showing everything that needed to be moved--including two very large gun safes, a full gym setup, expensive outdoor kitchen appliances, and a complete overview of both properties. Based on this, they gave me an estimate of 8 hours for a one-day move. It turned into a two-day ordeal, with the team working late into the evening both nights--ending around 9pm--and then hitting me with an unexpected bill that was over $3,000 more than what was quoted. And that's just the beginning. Broken tiles in my brand-new home Two damaged gun safes, moved without the proper equipment $6,000 BBQ and $3,500 smoker damaged--and propped up to hide the damage Old, unreliable truck that needed to be jump-started throughout the day No communication about extra charges until the very end--then demanded payment for thousands in overtime My son and I had to help dismantle gym equipment just to keep the move going When I brought these issues up, they told me they'd "make it right." What they actually did was send two unqualified handymen who admitted they didn't know how to fix tile. As someone who owns a home services company, I ended up having my own tile guy do the repair as a favor--at cost. It didn't stop there. When I followed up about my damaged safes, I was told to contact the manufacturer myself. After I did that, Michael, the same rude representative I had dealt with from the start, capped off this nightmare by literally telling me to F off--after initially offering to replace just one of the safes. I wasn't planning to raise a fuss over every single issue, but after being disrespected and deceived like this? I'm not letting it slide. I've documented everything--photos, videos of the safes being dropped, and all correspondence--and I'll be speaking with legal counsel. They clearly count on customers giving up. I won't. If you care about your home, your belongings, and being treated with basic respect--don't hire Busy Bee Movers. read more

So glad that we went with Busy Bee Movers to help us with our move! Daniel and his team made it as easy and stress free moving a whole house can be! They were very communicative with us from start to finish and we really appreciated the effort they put in to finish moving within our budget and tried to make it as cheap as possible on our end. The whole team managed to wrap, pack up and load all of our furnitures and boxes in a little over 2 hours without damaging a single item! We were all surprised how quickly the move went considering we have king/queen size beds, multiple large furnitures, outdoor set up, garage full of tools, and more! Not to mention we were moving from a 2 story to a 3 story house. A bonus point for catching Daniel taking the time to remove his shoes on our carpet before we told him and his team that it was unnecessary haha. Cannot thank them enough for all the hard work they put into this and would definitely be recommending/working with them again in the future! read more

My boyfriend and I used Busy Bee to move from West Hollywood to OC. Leading up to our move, Busy Bee was very communicative and transparent with costs. Come day of the move, we had Didar and Adai help. Everything went incredibly smooth - they helped us wrap fragile furniture and move everything to and from the moving truck to our new apartment. We really did not lift a finger - even when we tried, they politely told us to relax and they'd do all the heavy lifting (pun intended :)). They did not waste any time in our move (as costs do increase after a certain hour amount) and were as speedy as could be. Even after the move, the two helped put together our broken wardrobe we were planning to sell. I'd highly recommend this service, and Didar and Adai specifically, for your next move if you're looking for A+ service at affordable prices! read more

Thank you Busy Bee for a smooth move. Daniel and Mike did an excellent job and took great care of my belongings during the move.

Not too sure what happened with my move. Based on almost every single review it seems off to have such a terrible experience but here I am venting my frustration...... Movers were friendly aside from speaking a language I didn't understand amongst themselves. So where did it all go wrong? Well it started when they repacked all my boxes into bigger boxes. Boxes, boxes, and more boxes. Why? A tactic to waste time but still make it seem as if they were hard at work. Congratulations, you fooled me. Not! When did it get worse? When they discreetly put a gigantic hole in my mattress and placed it up against the wall so I wouldn't notice till the next day. But it's ok right, that's why you hire a professional moving company to prevent damaging your home goods and if something does accidentally happen there's insurance right? Wrong..... here I am a week later after numerous attempts at getting reimbursed for the damage but still not luck. No returned calls, no response to text messages, Nothing. Just simply ignored. Ohh and guess what? Remember all the boxes? At the end of the move they tried to charge me $20 per box. As if I needed more boxes!!! So there you have it.... Sneaky, sneaky business tactics. So I booked Sunday movers for Sunday . I had few items to fit in small Uhaul . They purposely brought large truck which did not fit into parking structure which lengthen the move time . I requested 3-4 guys to expedite the move per busy bee my items were not enough to warrant more men. My time slot I paid for 3-5pm the crew came at 7:45pm took entire 3 hours for a 2 hr job with commute and unpacking . Unpacking was literally 20 min. The guy calling me at night to get payment was very rude . I wanted to know the extra travel fee added i was not upset at the payment I was trying to disclose the total cash amount Nick gave me is the cash I pulled out sooooo how would you like me to pay the balance instead of hearing me this guy decides to talk over and give me a by law explanation of the fee and said that's what I get for booking last min . Again this is a business if you cannot keep your 3-5pm service time nor communicate exact total for cash payment why the hell are you yelling at me . Moving crew was amazing .booking is 3 hr minimum . Time started 7pm time finished 10pm where you got 3.5 hrs ??? You were on Speaker your crew and neighbors all witnessed your rant . Proven by again you defining your practice with again no questioning it . Listening is a skill you can improve on . Maybe choose to hear others over loving to hear yourself speak . My inventory list was exact for what I asked for I even provided my own moving blankets and extra gesture apart from typical clients . I will post on my jobs classifies not to use Busy Bee as their competitors can offer better service . I hope your free jump ship too ! read more
