The toast was crispy, but the filling was very flavorful, and the topping of whipped cream with Oreo crumbs made the whole meal delightful. I ended up taking the bacon and eggs home, since the French Toast was more than enough. Our server was friendly and thorough, despite it being busy. There was some black duct tape holding parts of the booth together, and since the booths aren't anchored to the floor, ours would shift whenever the people behind us moved, which was a little distracting. The food was okay, but nothing really stood out. The scrambled eggs tasted watered down and lacked flavor. The pancakes themselves were good, but they came with quite a bit more butter than necessary. We also ordered the chicken fried steak, which was tasty, though the potatoes that came with it tasted like they may have been from the day before. I might consider coming back to sit at the bar for cocktails or happy hour, but for a full meal I'm not sure I'd rush back. There's no real parking for this areas since it's in busy street, so you'll have to park a block or two away most of the time, but it's not a big deal.
