This is my favorite local pizza spot, hands down. I wish I lived closer! Slice House is known for…read moretheir by-the-slice pizzas which come quick and hot in 4 different styles (new york, Detroit, Sicilian, and grandma style). The ingredients on all the pizzas I've had so far always taste a step above most other pizza spots. This is certainly the highest quality quick casual pizza place I know for sure. I usually get two slices as I'm a big guy, but honestly just one slice a drink would probably be good enough for most people. My favorite which they have every time is the "Wise Guy" which comes with pepperoni, two types of sausage, chili oil, ricotta dollops, and green onion. The crispy under crust might be the secret to making it a 10/10 pizza in my book. I also got the "traditional" this time which was a pepperoni and sausage Sicilian style pizza on fat square slice of foccocia bread. It's not as good as the wise guy, but the meat and cheese on soft fluffy bread is a killer combination. My friend got the chicken bacon ranch, another New York style slice. I wasn't as big a fan, but I I'm not usually a fan of chicken pizzas as it is so I'm sure others would still love it. He definitely did! The service is always quick and great and the slices cost between $6-9 if I recall correctly, which isn't bad for slices of this size and quality in my opinion. Note, I have been to a location at Universal City Walk which was way more expensive so the prices can change drastically based on location. Overall this place needs to be in your rotation if you like quick, quality pizza. I spread the word whenever I can!

The bowl was really good using fries instead of rice honestly made it hit way harder. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and everything on top tied together really well without feeling too heavy. The combo plate was just as solid. The chicken was tender, the beef had a nice char and flavor, and both tasted fresh. Portions were generous too--definitely didn't feel like they were skimping. Everything tasted authentic and well-made, not dry or bland like some Mediterranean spots can be. Sauces brought it all together without overpowering the meat. Service was quick and the spot has a casual, no-frills vibe--just good food that comes out fast. Overall, really solid Mediterranean spot in Riverside. The food arrived on time, the order was correct, and it came all the way from Riverside. I'm not sure on the ambiance because I had the food delivered. As for the food, i opted for the combo plate. It came with 3 pieces of steak, chicken, and 1 Kefta kabob, rice, 2 sides, and pita bread. They have a lot of sides to choose from but I don't like that there's an up charge to substitute salad for rice so I got the rice. I love that they allow you to select how you want your beef cooked. I ordered Medium and it was cooked perfectly. The kefta kabob was well seasoned and packed full of Mediterranean spices (delicious). The chicken was full of flavor, cooked all the way through and tender. The rice was full of flavor. I've never had Mediterranean food with rice like this. You may or may not like it. I enjoyed the extra flavor than just having white rice. The tabbouleh was fresh and gave my meal some brightness. The pita bread was a disappointment for me. You could tell it's store bought or not freshly made. You can taste the flour or starch on it. It was dry and not good. It reminded me of the Pita bread in the bakery section of food4less. The other disappointing element to my meal was the cucumber yogurt (tzatziki) I don't like that the cucumber was cubed and it was watery. It lacked that cucumber flavor and it appeared to be prepared watered down intentionally. It was even lacking that tart yogurt taste because it was so thinned out. Overall, it was still a fairly good meal. I would suggest making or buying better pita bread. I would be willing to try it again because the meat was delicious and I'd get hummus instead of the cucumber yogurt.

Bushfire Kitchen absolutely knocked it out of the park! I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had. The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and paired with fresh toppings that elevated every bite. The sandwich came on a fluffy, toasted bun that added the perfect amount of crunch without overpowering the flavors. The portions were generous, and I could tell that quality ingredients were at the heart of everything they serve. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff made me feel like a valued guest from start to finish.
