Hambone gives for the Hambone IPA.

Have visited busey brews a few times during our month long visit to Nederland. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We have enjoyed the Reuben, nachos, beet salad, hot link, mac & cheese, beers and their seltzer. Kyle the owner couldn't be more personable and we always enjoyed speaking with him. We visited for live music on a Sunday and it was great. It's nice and cozy indoors, they have a wonderful back patio with heaters and a high top fire pit surrounded by bar stores as well as an outdoor area for people who bring in their dogs. Really great place!

Sliders coleslaw and cornbread

Driving through on the Peak to Peak Highway. Were we happy we tried this place. The food was so fresh! The most moist and tender meats the pulled pork, brisket and turkey. Yummy coleslaw seasoned with dill! Perfect cornbread. The servers were very helpful in describing the different items and very attentive throughout the meal. I wished I lived nearby! As we were leaving the live music was just beginning. Sorry to miss it. Hats off to the the chefs and serving staff!

Love their Food service and vibe. Wishin I had some right about now - Reppin the Swag while on the Chesapeake Bay in Baltimore MD.

I have to admit I am a bbq snob! The pulled pork was my favorite, tender and smoky, the brisket was dry as it comes and man, it just kinda sucks when you've had juicy brisket before/ could have been a bad batch. Brisket is easy to mess up and I'm guilty of it myself! Coleslaw and potato salad were good and the beet salad was earthy and had lots of beets. Service was good and you can't beat mountain ambience! My husband enjoyed his beers.

smokehouse reuben with corned beef, brisket chili, cornbread, chips.

We stopped here for lunch after a long morning hike. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the food was terrific. I ordered the reuben -- absolutely excellent. I added the brisket chili as a side as well as cornbread. In the photo you can see part of the sandwich is missing; my wife took part of the sandwich before I could take a photo. :-) She ordered the wings, half with the bourbon bacon and half with the garlic parm. Both excellent and we had enough left over for dinner tonight. I had a ginger hard seltzer and we bought 2 pints of ginger beer to go. We ate on the patio; they said we would need to order online but they came out and took our order anyway...I guess it wasn't all that busy. I am from Kansas City and am a bbq snob. I gotta say that the smokehouse reuben with corned beef was delicious. They know how to smoke meat. I highly recommend this place.

Awesome kombucha, great food, and great service! I stopped in Nederland in January and arrived at Busey Brews around 11AM. We sat on their heated deck which is beautiful, very warm, and offers great views of the downtown area and mountain tops. Today I had a bowl of their green chili for the first time and it was flavorful, tasty, and had just the right amount of kick! Their housemade kombucha is always good, I highly recommend trying it, even if you're not a kombucha person. It's not as strong as others I've tried and it has a sweeter flavor with some bite. This place would be an awesome spot for a large group gathering or birthday party. Also shout out to Kyle, the owner. Always friendly and welcoming!

The smoked wings were delicious! I had half Nashville hot and half "Ned" dry rub... mouthwatering. The wine was good too.

Oktoberfest specials - bavarian pretzel & brat

This place is a must go when visiting Ned. The outdoor patio has completely transformed the atmosphere and is one of my favorite spots to grab a beer and bite to eat. There's a big fireplace center and bar seating over the river. They have big pull down screens that block out some of that famous wind and keeps the patio usable into the later months. The Nightmare on First street pumpkin beer is one of my faves I wait for each year. We popped by for their Oktoberfest event and the pretzel and brat were delicious and super fun and festive.

Super awesome restaurant! This place has amazing food and beer, cool seating, and a cool ordering system! Had an awesome experience here last night, highly recommend! :)

We stopped by around lunchtime after enjoying a fall hike. It was super busy that day so we put our names on the waitlist. After waiting 45 minutes or so, we were finally notified a table was ready for us. We were prepared for the wait, what frustrated us was that the host didn't tell us that the tables on the front porch are first come first serve and that we could have just sat there rather than hop on the waitlist (they were open the whole time we waited). Anyway, we sat on the covered patio area which was nice and even had a little fire as the air started to turn cold. Everything is ordered via QR code which made ordering easy, but service in general was kind of slow the whole day. The beer was fine but my husband thought his Mexican lager was quite watery. We enjoyed the nachos and smoked wings and thought they were yummy. Overall it's a cute place to stop by if you're in Nederland!

Picture of some nearby hiking spots! Work up that appetite y'all!

Beers were quite good but the wings with the Ned's dry rub were great especially paired with their hot bbq sauce.

Do they have any NA beers?

They have a seltzer I think you can flavor as you want, and good soft drinks, some of which I think they brew themselves.

The owner Phillip was drinking a Guinness at the bar when we arrived with his back to the door. No welcome. Just told us to sit anywhere. Turns out the whole family works there. Met the daughter Grace while perusing the menu. Not a lot of options but we tried the chicken wings with pints of Outlaw lager beer. Both were fairly tasty. Looking around at the tiny place made me think of a cozy little British pub. The tunes playing in the background were pleasant. The owner told us his story about buying the business and how his family worked there. Saturday afternoon had only three family members as the wife was out. As sweet as his daughter was, she was far too talkative to patrons and fairly ignored the two groups of people who came inside and sat down. Her dad was in the back washing dishes and we still waited 10 minutes to order our main dish. The other patrons even got up to look in back to see if anyone was working there because they were ignored. About ten minutes later the owner came around the corner but Daughter was still gossiping outside. He scurried around. We split the fish and chips between the two of us as well as the salad. I was not impressed with the food. The small pieces of battered fish were decent but the overcooked fries and the salad were NOT good. I was bummed. It's like they realize the fish portions are small and they overcompensate with too many fries. I really wanted to like the place. The salad dressing came in store bought packets. Bottom line; only come for the beer and you will be happy.

Westbound & Down is a great place to check out and service matches the great beers they offer as well. We ended up getting something fairly small since we had big plans for dinner in town. The bison burger was such a great bite after bite and the fries did not disappoint. Unfortunately the service and food were average at best. Our waiter seemed rushed and barely made eye contact or stopped at our table. The burger and chicken sandwich were fine. We enjoyed the food enough but at the price, we expected more both from the food and the service.

From game days (televised or board/card) to happy hour catch ups I love coming here for the laid back and family friendly vibes. I've enjoyed having my birthday party here for the last handful of years (they have amazing event space). As it's family friendly my crew always feels happy to bring their well behaved little one along. While my friends are sure to bring activities for their kiddos (books, toys, educational iPad devices) some folks aren't as considerate. I've definitely had the unfortunate experience of kids running amuck while their parents are fully attentive only to their brewskis. This was particularly disturbing as I've been recovering from a knee injury for several months and my partner has often been with me and on crutches. Would love to see people take more responsibility for their children's behavior when taking them out in public for everyone's safety. While it's Boulder afterall I hold hope that parents will look after their kids if they decide to bring them in or drop them to the nearby kiddos climbing facility if they wanna play. Looking forward to many more good times with friends at this awesome locally owned gem.

For food, we each got a side Caesar salad. Large and with lots of flavor, they were very good. We each then got the Mediterranean pizza. I added chicken to mine. My wife liked hers, while I was disappointed in mine. I didn't find the flavor to be great, and the crust was rather flimsy and disappointing.
