There's a small stream nearby that you can hear in the baYou sit at your table and place. You order online and they bring the food out to you. Quick and convenient. Lots of dog mom and dads and lots of pups. Great menu and view for a late lunch or early dinner. The Burnt End sandwich is mouth watering and has great smoke flavor! Came by after a hike on Saturday and it was pretty busy. We sat on the back patio since we had a dog with us. If you're planning to dine on the dog friendly patio, I recommend you get down back to the patio and grab an open table. We wasted some time waiting in line at the front just to be told that we could go down to find a table outside. It was all QR code ordering from there and you order and pay for everything on your phone. I got the brisket, hot link, and chicken sliders which was a great way to try their different BBQ meats, and they were all so tasty! The cup of pork green chili was also delicious! Today our goal was to investigate this town more and we picked this place for lunch. Happening place with tons of people. Busy so I'll give them slack on the slow service. The band and the sound system was so good if you didn't know they were there you might think it was a live recording. We ordered BBQ and waited a really long time. 1lb platter with Brisket and Turkey 2 sides. The platter was $29. Sides were excellent garlic mashed potatoes and chips,A bit small on the portion of sides. Smoked turkey excellent and could stand up to any Texas BBQ joint. The brisket not so much, 2 of the 4 slices were too tough and barely edible. While the other 2 slices were pretty good. So I give them a pass. The pulled pork, chicken thigh, and turkey are often very dry. Best to skip those. I have a buddy who bought a cabin in Pinecliffe. We stopped out to take a look and decided to grab some BBQ in nearby Nederland. The atmosphere of the place is very casual and comfortable. We sat on the patio under canvas tops that blocked the sun but let the breezes blow through. With the afternoon temps in the high 80s, it was still very comfortable. Being a BBQ place I had to try some of their smoked meats. I also had a taste for Mac & Cheese so I thought I'd combine them. I'm a big pulled pork fan if it's melt-in-mouth tender and not fatty. I asked our server (a friendly, attentive older gentleman) if the pork was lean. He promised it was. When my lunch came the pork was everything he promised and the Mac & Cheese complimented it well. My buddy got one of their unique beers and said it was one of his favorites. In general, this is a great place for a casual, delicious meal with friends. read more

The presentation of the 5 beer sampler was the best I've ever had. The smoked wings were very good, and the sweet bourbon bacon sauce was delicious - I could drink that stuff. The first I've ever seen of a burnt ends hoagie was very tasty, thought the slaw was a little too dry. Sliders were tasty, especially the chicken and pork. Cool vibe. Lots of locals and visitors. We stopped in here for lunch - and some brews - after a hike up to blue lake on my birthday. We sat at the bar - and the bartender was great (recommended beers based on style you like, and also made food recommendations). I ordered the 1/3 rack of ribs which comes with two sides (went with Mac and cheese and coleslaw). Bob orders the smokin sandwich which also came with two sides (Mac and cheese and beans). The ribs were absolutely delicious - perfectly cooked, well seasoned and flavorful. The coleslaw was bright, crunchy and also flavorful. The Mac and cheese was also really good. For beers - I went with a sampling of five beers: the commander cow, mule shoe milk stout, tropical staycation, hambone ipa, and if I had a midnight lager. My favorite was the commander cow (must try if you haven't had it) - it's a really good imperial stout aged in CO whiskey barrels. We will for sure be back! read more

I have been here three times. I really enjoy the atmosphere and food. Service can be really hit or miss. But the most recent visit was a real disappointment. I ordered the nachoes with brisket. When I tried a bite, it was a chunk of fat with no meat at all. So upon closer inspection, the whole tray was covered in lumps of brisket fat, with little to no meat. I tracked down a server who apologized and brought a plate of meat to replace it which was perfectly fine and brought immediately, leaving me wondering, if they had good meat, why on earth would you load the dish with that non-sense. Needless to say even with the new meat, I had lost my appetite. Before this experience, things have been fine. read more

we stopped in with our dog to have a beer and appetizer. Ordered the nachos and failed to add a protein. usually nachos are made with good tortilla chips, some beans, black olives, jalapeños, sour cream, guacamole. There nachos were not that at all! Weak tortilla chips/strips made of white corn. White cheese sauce with a tiny sprinkle of shredded yellow cheese. We were asked if we wanted jalapeños and sour cream on the side and said yes assuming they were included...not!!! $1.00 each. No mention of guacamole, which was probably good as it might have come out of a can. Upon paying I was asked how things were and I mentioned our disappointment with the nachos. We were given a 10% customer satisfaction discount which, while appreciated, still didn't help the nachos. Anyway, we will return because we can bring our dog and the beer is good. After hiking in the mountains nearby we stopped on our way back into Boulder. Our local friends were very familiar with this place. We grabbed a table out back and used their QR code system to order and pay for drinks and food. I am not a fan of this system especially when they are looking for you to tip 20% when all they are doing is running out the food. They even want you to bus your own table. This would be like tipping 20% when at a fast food restaurant because that is the level of service you are getting here.... Anyway the beer was good though I am pretty sure we did not get the happy hour pricing for it. We ordered a number of happy hour food specials (3-6pm weekdays) and that was correctly priced on their app. The ribs were excellent as were the wings. The sliders suffered from very dry buns but the brisket and hot link sausage were good. The pulled pork was dry. The sauces tasty. I highly recommend the ribs! read more

As we setup camp a few miles away. Hunger struck. We stopped with our pups at Buseys. This was a really nice place! The inside was clean, tidy and just a cool mountain vibe. We ordered beers which literally came out in under a minute. That's what I call fast service! We ordered chips and salsa and that salsa was delicious. Freshly made and had a Smokey flavor. If you're craving a good sandwich this is the place to be. After a long hike me and my friend where in need of some food and some beer. The menu has some great options, I was surprised be how many tofu items there were. Although I'm a meat eater, I thought that was cool. I got a brisket sandwich, and a peaches and dreams. My wife and I, and our dog (Queso) had a great visit to Busey Brews. Key points for us: 1) they allow dogs on the front patio, and some tables behind the building. You do have to order using your phone and a bar code, but they bring the food and drinks to you, and can help with anything you need. 2) the beer was really solid. I had the Hazy IPA (or a couple/few of them). And 3) the Food was really good. They focus on BBQ and it was solid. I had the smoked wings with Bourbon bacon sauce. My wife had the Brisket Royale sandwich. Both were great! The weather was fantastic, so that made the stop perfect. read more

We love this place!! This is a must to place to eat if staying in or driving through Nederland. We started off with smoked wings and the buffalo sauce was yummy. I ordered the homemade kombucha, so good! We ordered a variety of food, all was yummy. Our server's attention was 100% on us while he was talking to us. If it takes a minute to get someone to your table, be patient because once they get to you, he takes all the time needed to make sure you are taken care of. We never felt rushed. We were still working on our order and our appetizer arrived lol Get the Mac n cheese! The mashed potatoes are super garlicky. If you like garlic, it's worth it. The beans were so good! Incredible spot. Came from Denver for a little day trip and noticed this was the only brewery with food open on a Monday and wow am I glad. Beer and beer prices: 11/10 (the Vienna, kolsch and double ipa that was brewed with local honey were the winners. That double ipa could convert an IPA hater. Unreal.) Food: 9.5/10. The prime rib was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. The bread held the integrity of the sandwich despite it being so juicy and cheesy. Flavor was beyond on point. Now for the red chili, incredible bean to tomato to brisket ratio. Big chunks of brisket were present. Super good. Only knocking a point down for the green chili cause it was pretty good but not great in comparison to the other two. Service: very friendly. Wait staff were kind and hard working, this review is not about any person who works there it is more a reflection on how the operation is run. This is a QR code ordering menu, which in theory would be a good idea however it took 5x as long to get our order in since it was the first time setting it up. The happy hour menu was not easy to find which we had to find someone to ask about and it seems like we weren't the only ones to have that problem. Also, there were very few actual BBQ items on the menu, if you don't have a burnt ends appetizer or meal are you really a BBQ restaurant? Water was warm and cups didn't come with ice. No option to leave a note in the order for any modifications needed. I will say on a positive note it was good portions of food and was decently tasty so if you can get over the ordering process and lack of help (not the waiters faults) it might be for you, just not for us. read more
