With parking and a convenient night drop, the AAA driver and I left it in the Courtesy parking lot. They called me first thing in the morning to let me know it's a rubber cooling hose. By then I'd had a little time to research and knew that I didn't want it replace with a likely to break rubber hose again, but asked if they could use a metal one, which they obliged. It wasn't cheap, but I really think you get what you pay for and I like to support West Seattle businesses. I've since brought in my Honda for a wheel bearing gone bad and once again had a great experience. Can recommend!

Emmanuel (Owner) put my car up on the lift, took off tire, examined it, and was able to find a small rock caught between the tire and the break. He showed me the rock and where it had lodged itself. After putting everything back together, he handed me my keys and sent me on my way-no charge at all, even though he spent a good 40 minutes fixing it!!! I'm so thankful for his help, his labor, and his precious time. Most importantly thankful for his honesty. He could've easily said I needed new parts, but he didn't. This time, I didn't even have to leave the shop. ( made an appointment yesterday) He took care of my car as soon as he became available. The only thing I didn't like was actually the customers in the small waiting room on their phone playing games with sound on and talking on speaker phone. No etiquette. :( Recommend by my friend who used to get service from the previous owner of this shop who also was an honest man. I will definitely continue to come back here.

I have been to this shop twice, mainly because my brother recommended them and because my regular…read moremechanic (worth his weight in gold) was too busy to take me. The first time I went in for a catalytic converter issue and it took three visits to get it right. They made good on their word--sort of--but it introduced a theme with them that I encountered later: the good cop/bad cop routine between the mechanic, Kenny, and the front desk guy, Wayne. Wayne never seemed to take any accountability, it was always a Kenny thing. That's not what I call accountability. The second, and now last, time I took my car in I had them repair a bunch of things that led to my car stalling in traffic. I dropped 3 thousand dollars on repairs that lasted me 30 miles. The brand new hose to my radiator came off and fouled the motor. Of course, even though they had done all kinds of work on the cars they day before, none of this was their fault. So, to get my car back into drivable condition, it cost me another 4 thousand dollars. Had I known beforehand that I was going to get stuck spending 7 thousand dollars on my car, I would have probably taken a different course. When I took my car to my Real Mechanic, he said that I probably had a legal case against them (though impossible to prosecute) and that my engine "sounded like shit". They said the hose looked large and was probably cranked down too hard, and that was what led to the radiator flange breaking off. Oh, and Lioe's kept my car for three weeks while they were trying to fix it. If I had known that they would take that long (and their communication was terrible) then I would have been out a car just as long as waiting for my Real Mechanic to get me in. At this point I don't trust Lioe's enough to take the car back and have it serviced under warranty, should it have engine troubles. How's that for a spot to be in? They should fix it, but I don't think Kenny is either skilled enough, or scrupulous enough, to properly fix it. Feeling quite burned by the whole experience.

They told me that the chirping was due to a pulley in the power steering system and that I had a power steering fluid leak that needed a rack and pinion replacement to fix (a $3000 job). I asked for more information (how bad is the leak, etc) and got a hard sell from the person at the front desk. This sounded suspicious to me so I looked into this myself and discovered the power steering fluid leak was coming from a hose that had come loose in the power steering coolant circuit. Fixed the leak and the chirping noise with a $5 hose clamp. Horrible diagnostics and customer service - wouldn't trust them anywhere near my vehicle. Worthless $180 inspection.
