The family not only takes your order but is also in the kitchen cooking your meal -- and they are genuinely friendly and warm. The ingredients taste fresh -- from the beans to the salsa casera -- and they also offer aguas frescas (hibiscus, melon, watermelon, horchata), plus Jarritos, Mexican Coke, and other drinks. We tried the chicken taquitos, and the filling was actually juicy -- not dry like you sometimes find elsewhere. They could kick it up a notch by keeping the chicken seasoning a little simpler with just onion, salt, and pepper so the flavor shines through. The carne asada was some of the most tender steak I have ever had! YUM!! Everyone enjoyed their meal.
