The chicken barely had taste. It was mainly just rice and beans. It also had an overwhelming cilantro flavor. The tortilla was also hard and stale. However it's a good price $8.50. If you like the taste of cilantro, maybe you'll score it higher. The guacamole wasn't really seasoned either so I didn't really taste it.

I've lived in Chico for 15 years and this is my favorite Taco Wagon, it's just luck that it is so close to my house. The people are so sweet, the prices are as cheap as any other Taco Truck and the flavor is never sacrificed! Between the 5 of us we got three burritos, 2 tostadas, and a spattering of tacos. The only complaint was that in the regular pork burrito, it was missing moisture (note: this does not mean it was missing spice! It definitely had plenty of that!) It could have benefited from more salsa or onions or something because our mouths were drying out! Luckily we had some guacamole at home to top it off. In hindsight, it likely would have been worth the "splurge" (I think it's like 75c) to upgrade to supreme, even though we knew we were making guacamole at home. One of my friends ordered something like no rice, extra onion, half meat...yatta yatta yatta. While I do not condone this, it is worth noting that they got her order spot on while juggling our other orders between the two of them. PROS: right by the convenience store, lots of options, very friendly and kind CONS: confusing parking configuration, dry regular burrito, only take cash (like most Taco Wagons)

Today I decided to visit tacos ramirez and I can confidently say I will not be returning. I ordered a regular carne asada burrito and it was the most bland tasting food I have ever ate in my life. It tasted like there was no seasoning whatsoever, not even touch of salt. I have no complaints about the establishment besides the fact that there was a humongous dumpster right next to the taco truck. read more

My first time eating here. The burrito was full of carne asada , warm rice and fresh soft beans with delicious salsa and on the side was lots of jalapeños and carrots. The meat was grilled perfectly and I didn't chew on any fat or nerve. This was a super burrito and I would recommend this place. read more

Hands down, my favorite taco trunk! It's easy to find because it's orange. You can park directly in the lot that the truck is at. I've never experience too long of a wait during the times I visited. The most there will be is 2-3 people ahead of me. They serve tacos, burritos, chimichangas, sopas, and tortas. I've only gotten their tacos and they are DELICIOUS. They have a variety of meat options, but I stick with carne asada and al pastor. $1 each, loaded with cilantro & onions. It honestly doesn't get better than that. *FYI: The RED salsa is HOT. First time going here and they have their 8 year old daughter taking the orders... She gives me in correct change and I have to go back, they don't use a number system or anything So they're just screaming out people's orders, then people like aren't claiming theirs it's all a huge mess, they gave me spicy tacos which I didn't ask for, waste of time and money. read more

I love this place. Only negative is that they're cash only. Other than that, it's a great establishment. Employees are always nice and efficient. Food is always delicious, I love and recommend their carne asada fries. Definitely check them out, just look for the orange truck! read more

My wife and I loved going to this place for their Fish Tacos. I always order mild fish tacos. My wife doesn't like cilantro or onions so she gets hers without and I get mine with everything on them. I told them today that I wanted five mild fish tacos. Three with everything on them and two with no onions or cilantro. They messed up the order and put hot sauce on them. I called them and asked them to make it right and he told me "no, that it is my mistake and said he would not replace them." I will never be going there again because they do not want to be honest and make things right. Pretty sad how dishonest and greedy some of these food trucks can be. They just lost a loyal customer. Too bad for them, we'll find another spot. read more

The tacos are great but the past two times I have gone, the girl who took my order mis-quoted the price. For 2 tripe, and 4 pastor tacos she tried to charge $10. I told her the correct price of $8 and she just "oh, ok." And took my money no acknowledgement on her mistake. When I got my tacos I asked for peppers and she gave me 2 saying that it's 2 per order. In my 4 years of going it has never been 2 per order... Any ways not sure how much longer I will be going if things don't improve. The food is good but just double check your total, and keep a supply of peppers at home. read more

This place is dank! My boyfriend and I go here pretty frequently as they have really good prices for the fresh food they serve. We like supporting this local business. This is my new "go to" taco truck. The food is tasty and they get it to you quick. They are one of the few taco trucks that has a deep fryer, which means that they can make Chimichangas and "California" burritos. Also, the prices are very reasonable. read more

I have been coming to this truck for years, but in recent months there has been a new face who takes the orders. She has tried to overcharge us twice now. The first time, I just paid it after asking for the breakdown and letting it go. The second time was too obvious to go unnoticed, and when called out, she just said okay and charged the normal price. I don't understand what she is thinking. I don't plan on going back. read more

This taco truck is 5 stars for so many reasons! Went there with my girlfriend because we were skeptical of their ratings on yelp. I got the chicken burrito and she got the Cali and they were delicious! The order was ready within minutes, they guy working was nice and for the price you pay your getting a bargain compared to other local Mexican food places. I recommend this place highly read more

My favorite taco truck in town, I have had the nachos, burritos, tacos, California burrito, tostadas, and quesadillas...in both beef and chicken, I have also had the vegetarian tacos, vegetarian burritos, and the beans and rice plate, have probably been here over 40 times and everything is always great! Give it a try! It is also a bit cheaper, and better, than the other taco trucks around. read more

Best taco truck in town. Awesome food, friendly owner and the price can't be beat. This is my go to stop after the gym. I usually get a carne asada burrito supreme without the lettuce and sour cream. Only downside to this place is they put lettuce in most items. Got a quesadilla once and it was filled with lettuce.. But it's easy to ask them to hold it. read more

Lived in San Diego for most of my life and been spoiled when it comes to mexican food. the tacos here remind me a bit of home. love the lengua and the cabeza street tacos. and the california burritos here are excellent! read more

Great street tacos from their taco truck. I had tacos of carne Asada, al pastor, lengua and tripa. Definitely recommend the tripa and al pastor but they were all yummy. It's great that it's cheap too (@most 1.50 per taco) definitely will go again when in town! read more

The highs? The gourmet bun was toasted and branded with their logo, the produce was fresh, the bacon was hot off the grill, and the entire thing was cooked to order. The slight misses? I ordered the sea salt & vinegar fries and they were too salty for me... and that's saying something because I love salt. The burger patty was also a much leaner beef than we expected... and while "my health journey" appreciates that, it wasn't super juicy or tender, despite being cooked to a perfect level of doneness. All that to say: I'll for sure be back... I love to shop small and support local, and it's much easier to do when businesses like this are putting out such good quality eats!

I love onions & cilantro so tasting it wasn't a problem, it's the fact they were outdoing the meat and rice! I didn't taste any salsa. I was appalled. Asked for my tortilla toasted and they obliged. My bf likes bland food but he said the cheese in his tasted bad and his burrito was also too bland. 2/5 bc it was edible, however we didn't finish it they're also nice. First time with a food truck here and definitely my last! Sticking to Taqueria Pinolero.

Upon being seated, we were the first sat in our section, and the last table to be touched, as well as the last table to have its order taken. Additionally, my daughter received the incorrect drink. I've come here for 15 years, and this is the most lacking customer service experience I've had. This is a $5M+ per year food outlet, and I expect more.

They didn't heat the ham and cheese up they microwaved it and turned the flakey croissant into a rubbery brown thing - NEVER microwave croissants unless you are at home and like them that way. So the croissant is mouth burning hot so I drank my lukewarm coffee while I waited to the croissant to cool down enough to eat. Croissant microwaved too hot and coffee too cold. I don't plan on going back if that is their service level.

Cheese sticks are similar to Papa John's or Mountain Mike's in that you get a pizza cut into sticks with a dipping sauce. Their location, although seemingly good for delivery orders with being close to downtown and the student areas, is out of place and it's easy to miss the pizzeria completely when driving by.
