    Chorizo Chimichanga Burrito
    Michael G.

I came in on 3/30 around 4pm with my friend, I ordered a Chorizo Chimichanga Burrito and he ordered a Carne Asada Supreme Wet Burrito. We didn't wait long until our food was up & ready. I took some Flan with me and a couple drinks. I did not eat inside the establishment but the gentleman who helped me at the register was very polite. I got home and man was it flavorful. I always fly by this place downtown on my way to work as the location is interesting. The parking lot never has many cars there but MAN will I be returning!!! Thank you so much!!! It was delicious! See you guys soon!

Had a craving for fish tacos and figured this was as good a place as any to scratch the itch. Ordered 2 fish tacos and 1 Carne Asada as I typically like to try every places Carne as a baseline. So far, this is my favorite Carne Asada I have had up here in Chico. Deep, rich flavor, proper texture, good quality meat, and nice tortillas. The fish tacos were pretty good, but had a ton of lettuce on them that made it pretty hard to see/taste the fish. I'm just gonna ask for light lettuce next time and they'll be tasty. All in all, solid food, very reasonably priced, and everyone working there was very friendly and made sure I had what I needed to throw the munch down.

Very attentive staff. Food was good however the salsa was not authentic. Clean inside, good variety of dishes to choose from. Beans and rice was authentic and had great flavor. Chili Rellano was not fresh.

Any place with "Amigos" in the title should be a friendly spot, and they live up to their name and then some. Not only are they friendly, they serve up some quality, authentic Mexican eats, which makes this my go-to spot any time I'm in town. I walked in while on a road trip stopover with the hope of finding something cheap and tasty. I went with a chicken burrito and was amused when the gentleman said "good choice - best thing on the menu." I don't know if that's true, but it was a hearty and satisfying burrito, with lots of evenly distributed, tender meat, rice, beans and some amazing house salsas. It's great to have enthusiastic employees like this guy who make you feel good and welcome. Friendly folks, tasty food. What more could you ask for?

Some might underestimate it the restaurant based on the outside but as soon as you go in and meet the people and eat the food your going to be coming here every week.

Carne asada burrito with cheese and sour cream, about 9 inches long I would estimate - a bit below average in my experience

I was really craving some horchata which got me out of the house originally. I also ended up getting a burrito. The lady was soooo sweet and I give her 5 stars, which is why it pains me to say that I wasn't impressed with the burrito or the horchata. The horchata was too sweet for my liking. I got a carne asada burrito with cheese and sour cream added. I think it was just meh. It was one of those meals that i was like, "darn I regret spending $16 on this." The burrito was a good size (I would estimate about 9 inches long), but I prefer Aca Taco's carne asada burrito with cheese and sour cream far more for flavor.

My favorite place to grab a burrito. The staff are always friendly and the food is always good.

I recently tried their Taco Salad with Carne Asada (no rice) and it's was fresh and so good. My husband had the Nachos Supreme with shrimp and said they were the best Nachos he ever had. The combination of flavors were delicious.

Verde Chicken Enchiladas, and Carne Asada Tacos combo plate

Dining room is always clean. The food is served quickly and is always piping hot and fresh. You order at the counter and the wait staff will deliver it to your table. They do charge for chips and salsa but it is worth it. Their salsa is a combination of purée and chunky fresh tomatoes. Their enchiladas verde and Al pastor tacos are authentic and flavorful. Combination plates are an ample portion.

It was a sendoff worthy of mariachi music and a frozen margarita toast. Let's start with the food: fire-grilled shrimp sizzling over peppers and onions, the kind of skillet that turns heads when it hits the table. The birria tacos were rich, cheesy, and golden-seared to perfection, with a deeply savory consommé for dipping every bite a messy, magnificent win. The combo plates brought it all together: classic rice and beans, fresh pico, guac, sour cream, and cheese so generous it should've paid rent. The place is full of charm, too. Walking through the doors is like stepping into a vibrant fiesta bright papel picado overhead, carved wooden benches, tiled floors that feel like abuela's house, and cheerful service that made us feel like family. I especially loved the colorful little photo-op corner by the entrance perfect for capturing the last California memory before heading east. It's not fancy. It's real. The kind of restaurant where flavors speak louder than trends, and you leave with a full belly and a bigger smile. Whether you're rolling through Chico or you're lucky enough to call it home, La Fiesta deserves a spot on your regular rotation. And if you're heading out of town like I was, this is the kind of farewell feast that sticks with you right next to the taste of lime and roasted onion. #LaFiestaChico #BirriaTacos #SizzlingShrimp #ChicoEats #ItsTheLittleThings #ThePuddingCreekTrestle #FoodieFuel #GuacAndRoll #TacoJoy #FlavorTrip

The marigold garland on the ceiling is a nice touch and the music videos were on point. It felt like we had gone on a journey and left Chico! I had the Birria Quesadilla with consume and mom had Birria nachos! Neither disappointed for sure. The meat is so tender and flavorful and added a nice touch to the nachos! I was surprised my mom even ordered Birria but she was happy she did. We didn't order chips and was happy we didn't because between the nachos and Birria quesadilla it was the perfect amount of food. Washed it down with a Modelo and couldn't have been happier! Makes me want to go back for the Birria Ramen!! The salsa was served in the cutest little clay containers on a beautiful clay heart plate. Also, I dont give 5 stars easily and this was easily a 5 star Tacos: my buddy got the tacos cause he said he wasnt that hungry. Tbf, still looks good, idk his opinions on it Super burrito: so no wet burritos on the menu, you have to pay 3$ extra to make a burrito of your choice to be wet. All I said was I want a wet burrito and guy gave me a super burrito and made it wet. Taste wise it was delicious, can't really mess up a burrito. The sauce surrounding it was pretty darn good too. It was kinda tough to eat it though, with a knife and fork. Surprisingly didnt spill too much and fork could pick up the residue pretty well. I had to slice it and then cut that slice in half just to fit it in my mouth. I still prefer dry burrito over wet though and would get dry next time but even with the added 3$, it was still very worth. Chips and salsa: how could I forget about the chips and salsa. Mexican restaurants love their free chips and salsa and this is no exception. They not only have a salsa bar with many different sauces, but they also got a fat metal box with tons of chips for you to scoop yourself, it was amazing. Not only that but they got lids for the sauces and take out bags on the counter if you didnt finish them either. Extra Wish I took pic of menu but I was with friend 5/5 would go again
