Regular burrito and side of rice and beans
    Savanna B.

Price was fantastic, I got a carne asada burrito and a side of rice and beans for like $13 but it was also the driest rice I have ever gotten from a mexican restaurant. Carne asada had great flavor though, would recommend the burritos

Potato breakfast burrito, all for the price of a meat breakfast burrito!

They need a vegetarian breakfast burrito option. I just asked if I could have guacamole and sour cream as a replacement for the meat and was told no. So I'm paying for meat that I'm not eating, and $2+ for guac and sour cream. Not only that, this burrito is straight up ALL POTATOES. I don't even think there are actually eggs in here? I've been getting breakfast burritos from here for years and I used to be able to at least tell that there are eggs. I swear they only used one, if not less. There are so many potatoes in here that it's like I'm eating an entire potato. Definitely skimping on the beans too. Edit: aside from these 80% potato breakfast burritos this place is so great and they get 5 stars from me!

I just moved here recently from the bay and been looking for a good place to get a breakfast burrito. This was sooo good. Only $10 plus I added sour cream delicioso

    1 fish taco y 2 asada tacos

Came here today for the first time after moving to Chico a week ago. From Watsonville, so my standards are pretty crazy in regards to Mexican Food. Small spot with a few tables outside to eat in the sunshine. Also, they share their parking lot with a gas station. I noticed one guy pulled up at a pump, walked over and ordered, and then paid for his gas. By doing this, his food was ready when he was fueled up, so I tipped my hat to this smooth operator. Got 1 fish taco and 2 asada tacos. The fish taco was pretty good. Little heavy on the sauce, but I would definitely order again. Liked the batter on the fish, different from the norm and more Baja style. The asada tacos weren't super flavorful and were kinda forgettable. Not bad, but didn't blow my mind either. Considering this is less than 2 miles from my house, I will definitely be going back for fish tacos and to try some other things on the menu. While I get gas. And buy beer. One stop shopping at its finest!

    Menu as of October 2022.

Pros: - The grilled tacos - Very friendly and attentive employees - Fast service - Large portion sizes - Food is noticeably "homemade" - Large menu - Easy street parking Cons: - Closes early on Sundays - Fee for using a card to pay I recently tried Aztlan and wish I had done so sooner. Don't let the location and small building dissuade you. There is easy parking right next to the restaurant on E. 17th St. Employees are always attentive and friendly. The grilled tacos are large and amazing. The combo meals provide large portion sizes. Their chicken is top notch. Huge quesadillas. Prices are higher than a taco truck but I think the quality and portion sizes justify it. Give this place a try, you won't regret it.

Great, affordable food. A real treat for our family. We get the grilled shrimp tacos n it's a meal in itself. Enjoy.

    Entrance, nice colors.

It was a sendoff worthy of mariachi music and a frozen margarita toast. Let's start with the food: fire-grilled shrimp sizzling over peppers and onions, the kind of skillet that turns heads when it hits the table. The birria tacos were rich, cheesy, and golden-seared to perfection, with a deeply savory consommé for dipping every bite a messy, magnificent win. The combo plates brought it all together: classic rice and beans, fresh pico, guac, sour cream, and cheese so generous it should've paid rent. The place is full of charm, too. Walking through the doors is like stepping into a vibrant fiesta bright papel picado overhead, carved wooden benches, tiled floors that feel like abuela's house, and cheerful service that made us feel like family. I especially loved the colorful little photo-op corner by the entrance perfect for capturing the last California memory before heading east. It's not fancy. It's real. The kind of restaurant where flavors speak louder than trends, and you leave with a full belly and a bigger smile. Whether you're rolling through Chico or you're lucky enough to call it home, La Fiesta deserves a spot on your regular rotation. And if you're heading out of town like I was, this is the kind of farewell feast that sticks with you right next to the taste of lime and roasted onion. #LaFiestaChico #BirriaTacos #SizzlingShrimp #ChicoEats #ItsTheLittleThings #ThePuddingCreekTrestle #FoodieFuel #GuacAndRoll #TacoJoy #FlavorTrip

Tbf, still looks good, idk his opinions on it Super burrito: so no wet burritos on the menu, you have to pay 3$ extra to make a burrito of your choice to be wet. All I said was I want a wet burrito and guy gave me a super burrito and made it wet. Taste wise it was delicious, can't really mess up a burrito. The sauce surrounding it was pretty darn good too. It was kinda tough to eat it though, with a knife and fork. Surprisingly didnt spill too much and fork could pick up the residue pretty well. I had to slice it and then cut that slice in half just to fit it in my mouth. I still prefer dry burrito over wet though and would get dry next time but even with the added 3$, it was still very worth. Chips and salsa: how could I forget about the chips and salsa. Mexican restaurants love their free chips and salsa and this is no exception. They not only have a salsa bar with many different sauces, but they also got a fat metal box with tons of chips for you to scoop yourself, it was amazing. Not only that but they got lids for the sauces and take out bags on the counter if you didnt finish them either. Extra Wish I took pic of menu but I was with friend 5/5 would go again
