Waited in the post-order drive thru queue behind the building (near the dumpster area) for 35 mins and never received food. At first I thought they were busy, but after seeing the two cars in front and (eventually) two behind me get food, it was apparent that we were forgotten. I guess it never crossed the mind of the employee that brought the food out (same person who took my order) to see why there was a car still in the queue. After having my wife go in to check what's going on (no one answered the phone...went to the restaurant voicemail) I noticed they blocked off the drive thru?!? I guess they were just gonna leave us hanging back there. Inside they said the order wasn't received so we showed the receipt then they put our order in the queue. Ridiculous...asked for a refund and left. Can't talk about the food as we never received it but some of the patrons inside were also commenting on the wait times. Whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth...Will not be back and I suggest going elsewhere (Bigotes down the street?). read more

You can order anything on their menu and fall in love with it. It's the kind of food you catch yourself dancing a little while you eat it because it's that good. Great food and great service. They say don't judge a book by its cover. Well that is what I ALMOST did with seeing the reviews before I walked in. Honestly, this was a really great burrito and larger than I expected. I got the roasted veggie with no mushrooms plus sour cream added and it was so good with their mild sauce has great taste as well. Horchata very delicious and creamy. Great tortilla chips that come with it and well salted. The cashier was helpful, store was clean. Seems like they are still pretty new! so don't go by the reviews make your opinion after giving them at least one try. I will most definitely be back! read more

We both had the chili relleno burrito, one fully loaded, one with just the chili relleno and rice, along with a cheese quesadilla. (Burritos come with chips, quesadilla comes with rice and beans). Had to try the caramel churro also. The chili relleno burrito was so good it brought tears to my eyes, reminded me of "home" (we lived in California for 60 something years). It was perfectly stuffed with cheese and cooked to perfection, rice was perfect partnering. (I ordered pico on the side) Hubby had the fully loaded Chili relleno burrito, which he said was outstanding. Quesadilla was also wonderful, Hubby really enjoyed the beans, which were also cooked perfectly. The Churro was great with a light taste of caramel, great ending to an awesome meal!! Cashier was real attentive and friendly. He was fantastic! Food price was great for the amount of food you get. However, my steak asada burrito was VERY salty. My friend ordered another burrito and she stated the same. The food would have been far better with significantly less salt. The roasted veggie burrito is soooo good! The veggies have so much flavor you won't feel the need to add sauce, but if you do, go spicy! Oh and you won't be sorry if you had fries! Im partial I guess it's okay. First time we went we got the lonestar burrito I would say the chicken is the most flavorful, the steak was okay. They have a green salsa that is mild has a jalapeño taste to it nothing special then their red sauce had the heat that's about it very bland and hot. The breakfast burritos we got the egg cheese and bean. I was really looking forward to the chilaquiles and it was good but my husband didn't know they used their spicey red salsa I took one bite and my mouth was on fire so be warned. I'm so sorry that I didn't take any pictures! Our food was outstanding! We are from California and were searching and searching for some comfort food from home. Burrito District didn't disappoint. I ordered a California Burrito, my hubby had a fish taco as well as the California chips. I personally didn't like the nacho cheese on the chips because that's not how they're offered back home but they were still tasty. I also asked for a sample of their beans and they are whole not refried and do not have lard like back home but they were delicious. My hubby and I drove over 30 minutes to try this little piece of home and we were glad we did! I'm a little upset home much I did enjoy it because its a far drive from home! This is not a traditional Tex-Mex restaurant. They do not offer any breakfast burrito with potatoes so we had to add fries to ours. The refried beans were not smooth and creamy. They were lumpy with whole beans throughout. The egg and cheese burrito we ordered just didn't have much flavor, but they were big. The hot sauce was hot, which was nice if you like spicy, but not much flavor. We chose this place because of the rating, but after reading a few of the reviews, they both lived in CA so they make Mexican food differently than here in Texas. Just good for thought: if you're wanting TexMex breakfast burritos, this may not be the place for you! read more
