He really looked like he didn't want to be there. The first impression I received from this place was this young man really not wanting to be there. I have grabbed a lunch burrito from this place in the past and this morning had their breakfast version. Are they as good as Chipotle? No! Is there a Chipotle @ O'Hare? No! Given that, this place is a decent option. Having traveled quite a bit, I can tell you it's a lot better than some other airport burrito joints (yeah you: DFW and DEN). Frontera Grill is within view, but they are a bit overpriced and the line is usually long. I may not get a lunch version, but their breakfast bacon burrito was pretty darn good and priced competitively at $4.29 for a breakfast meal. I guess this is the chipotle of Chicago. I had a rice bowl ($8.40) with chicken that was just okay. They don't offer tomatoes and their corn has chipotle sauce. The onions are raw, the chicken was dark (almost seemed like pork) and I wasn't too pleased with the options for ingredients. I got food poisoning a few hours after eating at this place between flights on 12/11/18. I have been miserable for two days and actually didn't even eat any meat here. It may have been unsanitary lettuce or who knows what. I am a nurse and will be reporting it to the Chicago health department immediately. DO NOT eat at this place you will get sick and regret it. This is really good airport fast food. You can eat healthy-ish for a decent price (comparatively, of course - everything at airports is expensive). I make a beeline for here every time I land at O'Hare if I have even a few minutes to spare. I get the veggie burrito with extra guacamole, and I've never been disappointed. read more

Rudest employees ever - I ordered a veggie bowl, and asked not t have the quinoa into but it's made that way, that's fine but I tried to ask if I could add something but he was already asking the person behind me there order, I then tried to ask the girl 3 times if I could add something but my bowl was already at the cash out - the cashier asked if that's all I needed and I said I had tried to ask for avocado but I was ignored and the girl informing me said it's not added in it's extra (which I know) I said to the cashier that you three are very rude and her response was we offered it as extra ... after trying 4 times to be ignored - no thanks I'm good, also no employee discount offered. This is my go to place in Terminal 2 at O'Hare. The veggie chili is some of the best I've had and the fresh guacamole with chips is the perfect compliment. Food is mediocre and would rate average for airport food. Lady manning the cash register is a little rude when receipt from the printer was picked up. And started throwing attitude and being mean by telling it's her job to hand out the receipt. If it's her job then should stop talking to staff and hand out the receipt when printed. I came in today and three people were working. Two of workers smiled and asked how my day was. This one young African American woman( could not catch her name) didn't even look at me. I asked how her day was and everything and just gave me an attitude and yelled at me for touching the glass door which she could asked kindly. Haven't had a chance to dine in the Burrito Beach but had a conversation with the manager Sean on the phone and he is the friendliest and warm-hearted man I've met. What happened is that my girlfriend lost her hat in Macaroni's Grill. After failing to reach the restaurant or the airport, I called Burrito Beach since it is also in Terminal 3. I didn't have much expectation but still wanted to give it a shot. To my surprise, I was really touched by how the manager immediatedly helped me contact Macaroni's Grill after listening to my story, even though I am not a customer of theirs. Thumbs up and respect. These burritos were a generous size. I ordered the Cabo shrimp burrito. While the burrito was hefty and full of rice, beans and whatever else I added, I found myself wishing there was more meat. A combo burrito might have been nice instead. They do warn you of the 4 minute wait to grill up the shrimp, and it was still a very quick turnaround to get my food. My tortilla held together well with only a little bit of dripping. The foil wrapper kept it all from spilling all over me. I would make sure you're ready with what you want to order. They didn't really ask me what kind of tortilla I wanted, so I got the regular instead of the wheat. Then they started calling out several choices very quickly, so be ready to make several fast decisions so you don't feel the pressure of holding up the line. Also make sure to tell them what you want even if they don't call it out. They didn't call out the veggies or the quinoa for me, which was fine, but there was some other mixture next to it that I might have wanted. Of course, it probably would have made my burrito soggy, so probably for the best. read more

Stopped by yesterday night after a whole day of traveling and a long delay, it was nice to finally see some friendly faces with great service. I think there is a pre-requisite that if you work in the food court at O'Hare, you cannot smile. Almost robotic service. Not Soup-Naziish but just- order, move down, pay, leave. Ok, I can handle that but lighten up. That aside, I am a fan. Great burrito or bowl or tacos (Chipotle-ish). They have a frequent buyer card so your 10th (i think) is free. Right next store is their partner store, they have smoothies and salads. They are also good. They too have a frequent buyer card for smoothies. For breakfast, I highly HIGHLY recommend the chorizo and egg burrito. It is awesome! read more

Working at the airport can be so hard for finding good food. Burrito beach does it for me every time!!! They have bowls, salads, burritos, quesadillas and so on. I'm always on the go so I like to pick up something I can walk and eat with. Their chicken quesadillas are to die for. The chicken is soooooo good. I love it! read more
