The hanger steak was cooked to order (medium rare) and was tender. However it was very underwhelming in flavor even with the chimichurri on it. Especially for it being $50.. The risotto was the best thing on the plate as it was packed with flavor. That shouldn't have been the star on the plate. I tasted the meatloaf and it was so much better.. The meatloaf was awesome and the sides were great all together.. I was so jealous, as I am a huge steak person and was more impressed with the meatloaf.. The server was awesome and very attentive. We stayed at the hotel behind the restaurant and thought this place would be good since it was close by.. I am not sure when we stay in the area again if we will be back..

Example: tomato slices, ends of sausage or bell pepper, and a hair The drinks have been watered down for over a year. The syrup needs to be changed and less ice. Also no carbonation. When you get the receipt of overpaying you can't even see a breakdown of what you ordered, just a big grand total This does not seem legal at all. Incorrect menu prices, overcharging, then not giving you a breakdown just a higher total. Seems really shady to me and the food is honestly plain bland. I'll never return here sadly. I'll have to go somewhere else in the area where they show you the charges and are on top of things. Please do better

For that, I take responsibility. However, I believe your description leaves out important context that contributed to the situation. I waited in line like every other customer and spoke directly with the hostess. She was preparing to seat me, but then informed me that because I did not yet have all four members of my party present, I could not be seated. I explained that some members of my party were still looking for parking while others were on their way, and asked whether I could simply be seated as a party of one while I waited. I had driven a considerable distance specifically for this event and intended to purchase food and drinks. I was told that I could not be seated or served until the rest of my party arrived. What made this especially confusing was that the event had been advertised as first come, first served. Based on that advertising, I reasonably expected that arriving early and waiting in line would secure a place. Instead, I was told I could not be seated or served despite having arrived and waited my turn. Out of frustration, I briefly sat down hoping to get a drink of water and order food while waiting. When I was told I could not sit there, I immediately got up and left the table. I then asked whether there was anywhere else I could at least get food and water while waiting for my friends. Both the hostess and the manager informed me that I could not be served unless my full party was present. What further added to my frustration was watching a party of two get seated shortly afterward. Whether there were circumstances I was unaware of or not, it created the appearance that the policy was being applied inconsistently. My concern is less about being denied a table and more about the inconsistent messaging and customer experience. Had I been clearly informed in advance that "first come, first served" was subject to a full-party seating requirement, I would have planned accordingly. While I can acknowledge my role in the interaction, I believe there is also an opportunity for your business to reflect on how situations like this are communicated and handled. Customer dissatisfaction often comes not from the existence of a policy, but from inconsistent application and poor communication of that policy. Given the number of reviews expressing similar concerns, it may be worth considering whether there is a pattern that deserves attention. I wish your business success and appreciate you taking the time to respond.

The burger patty was also left thick and not as smashed. I felt that this burger could be much more elevated with a thousand island sauce. The tater tots were really crispy and had a nice sauce! For $30+ for two burgers it's a little bit on the pricey end and I just felt it didn't hit the mark. But still a pretty decent tasting burger!

We have passed by this place a thousand times since they opened and decided to have breakfast last Saturday. Has street parking and small lot in front of restaurant. We were met with a smiling hostess who took our orders from menus on clip boards. We ordered the orange/banana waffles and the banana walnut pancakes. We took our order number and sat outside on the patio which offered a view of Foothill Bl and the surrounding mountains. Our food arrived in a timely manner and we got self serve coffee and water from the small table located inside the restaurant. great everything The pancakes were the lightest and fluffiest we have ever had! If you're here, you probably just saw this truck parked somewhere and are trying to figure out whether or not it's worth trying. Stop now. Turn around. Try it. Their burgers are hands down the BEST burgers I have ever had. They use actual, fresh, Angus beef and you can taste it. They have a pretty big variety as well for a food truck, so you're certain to find something you'll like. Now as a California resident, you've definitely tried Animal fries, now toss those because their cheesy bacon fries served with your choice of sauce blows Animal Fries out the water. Their truck came to our complex twice and both times they had the best burgers and fries! I just wanted some nice, savory comfort food for a fun weekend so I got a Bacon Swiss burger and my dad got the Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde burger. The second we bit into them it was so good we had to finish them and check to see when they were coming back. They have awesome staff and even more awesome food. It used to be a small stand, but now it's a full taco truck that pulls up Monday-Thursday from 7 PM to 11 PM. The name is Tacos El Mr., and this was my fifth time coming back. That alone should tell you how much I love this place. I ordered four al pastor tacos, and they were perfect. Loaded with meat, cilantro, onions, and limes--simple but exactly how tacos should be. And honestly? These might be the best al pastor tacos I've ever had. I've tried a lot of taco spots, and nothing compares to the flavor and smokiness of their meat. It's tender, juicy, and so flavorful that I could eat it by itself. One thing that makes this truck even better: it's family-run. The daughter (super sweet!) takes the orders while her dad and another family member cook. They even remembered me and my friend from when we first came on Halloween, which I thought was the cutest thing. While we were ordering, her dad asked if we wanted to try their birria taco--and the wild part is my friend and I had literally just been talking about trying birria. So of course we said yes. Who turns down a free taco?! And WOW. That birria taco was insane. Tender, juicy, melts-in-your-mouth, full of flavor... easily a 10/10. Tacos El Mr. truly has some of the best meat out here. Their drinks are also fire--agua frescas, hibiscus, horchata... everything hits. I would 100% recommend this truck to anyone. The food, the vibe, the people--it's all perfect.
