Stay away. We ate here before a Valkyries game because it is conveniently located adjacent to Chase Arena. However, our children's entrees never arrived. I asked two times. Our noodle dish was missing eggs, and they claim they don't make it with eggs. The rainbow salad was missing two ingredients and they claim that's how they make it. I have been to many Burmese restaurants and never had an experience as bad as this. Do yourself a favor and eat inside the arena, at least you will get what you want.

Just finished eating here after attending the warriors game. They sat us down pretty quickly. It did take some time to get their attention to order since the tables were filling up. I was afraid it would take a while for the food to come, but boy was I wrong. So quick. Satisfied my hunger! Tea leaf salad was so flavorful and nutty. Platha with the dip. Oh my! So buttery and flakey and delicious!! Spicy noodle with chicken had a nice flavor to it. Decent amount of chicken as well. Burmese style fish curry was nicely tender and flakey in my mouth. The sauce over coconut rice. Perfection! Drinks are meh though. Mostly ice and not as much liquid. Filled the cup with all ice to the rim before pouring. It was super chill vibes. We sat outside. Even with the meh drinks, overall still 5 stars because the food and service were just too great!

I checked out Kayah by Burma Love for the first time while I was near Chase Center with some friends and it has quickly made it to one of my favorite restaurants around Mission Bay. Although the restaurant is on the smaller side and we did not have a reservation we were seated relatively fast and only had to wait about 12 minutes. The inside of the restaurant is gold and dark green and gives off a warm and cozy vibe. When we went we decided to get a few dishes and share family style but two of my absolute favorite dishes were the salt and pepper fried tofu as well as the Roti with dip. The salt and pepper fried tofu was perfectly dusted with spice and basil and served with a tangy sweet and spicy chili sauce and the Roti with dip had some of the most flakey buttery roti accompanied by chicken curry, and a salted butter as well as a sweet honey butter dip which was my favorite!

Great spot to grab drinks or dinner before a game!y husband and I came on a Saturday night. The same time as a Dua Lipa concert and was able to sit outside. We got the tea leaf salad, udon in chicken curry, mango lassi and the tea-misu. Everything was absolutely delicious! Although, I think the tea leaf salad at Burma Superstar is much better. Overall, service was fantastic and food had fantastic flavor. Highly recommend!

Tea leaf salad to-go.

Takeout review: The tea leaf salad came highly recommended so I ordered along with garlic noodles, to-go. Strongly suggest if you order the salad to-go that you request for the dressing on the side! Big mistake for me and I did not enjoy the mushy morsels in my cardboard box. The garlic noodles ... are these authentic? There's cheese one them. Not sure if I'm a fan but I'm definitely still hungry.

Hey munchkins how's it going? I'm feeling great! I just did a midnight runners 5k run with the air purifier and I have to say my performance is really improving! In the past when I did my air purifier runs I could only go at a pace "The Quant" was walking at. Now I can keep up with him while sprinting and even beat him to the finish! Amusingly enough this run happened near Halloween so people thought my air purifier was part of a costume. When asked I told them I was a guy named Humza from a weekly autobiography called trash tales. Of course this is myself which people didn't pick up on which made it funnier. After such a resounding win we went to Kayah for some bomb Burmese food. The food was great! We got the spicy noodle with tofu and it was good. "Sergeant Sassy" said they were "aight". My friend got the Shan noodles with chicken. They were a bit too upbeat for my friends liking and were missing some salt but otherwise they were good. Finally "La Tacqueria Royalty" ate the sesame chicken. It was pretty solid and slightly crispy. He did wish there were more vegetables but all in all an enjoyable experience. The waitress was great and asked us up front if we had any food allergies which I appreciated. All in all a solid experience and I was super stoked I improved my air purifier run performance!

Had a very nice lunch here. It wasn't too busy which was nice. We got to pick Alger we wanted to sit. Since it's really windy outside, we decided to sit inside. We were given menus and water. We ordered the samosas, coconut chicken curry, side of jasmine rice and steak frites. Our food came out quickly. The samosa were delicious. Crispy on the outside and the dipping sauce it came with was really good. The steak frites was delicious. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and the fries had a nice spicy seasoning on them. The coconut chicken curry was not our favorite. It didn't taste that good. Overall, the service was excellent and the food was good for the most part.

The menu looks so good! I want to try everything!!

First time here and so glad we came. My friends have been to the sister location and loved it so we knew we'd have a good meal tonight. I love the decor and there are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. There was a Warriors game but the crowds weren't as bad or as loud as I thought it might be The host and wait staff are knowledgeable and friendly . We loved all the food and drink we got! Tea Leaf Salas Salt Pepper Fried crispy tofu Plantha and green curry Jasmine rice Coconut rice Fiery tofu Eggplant Pindaya colada Mango lassi

One would think a restaurant on the promenade at Chase Center would be all about game day "turn and burn" and on the days with no events the place would be "ok". Well that is not the case - this place is amazing! I had lunch on a non-game day and it was one of the better meals I've had in awhile! The lunch special plate- pictured here - was a wonderfully fresh, perfectly cooked and plated at a great price. Chicken thigh curry(yum!) , rice with a fried egg (!) charred cabbage (delicious) was perfect. Service was impeccable- I sat at the bar and bartender shared ideas for lunch and also shared other meal ideas for dinner. The room packs so much in a "not giant" space. I consider Kayah to be a wonderful restaurant that happens to be adjacent to Chase Arena. Enjoy!!

Review is for drink only!!! I did not eat here Stopped in because I noticed the full bar and nice outdoor seating. I was thinking of maybe pre gaming here before the game. Inside is nicely decorated, lots of seating available, nice ambiance. Bartender was friendly drink was 26$ and the drink was just OK Not a place to pregame at in my opinion but I would stop in for dinner or lunch and give it a try maybe next time....

I walked in and wanted to check out the menu before I ate. I looked and then no one looked up to see if I wanted to order or be seated or leave. I eventually asked to be seated when I could get someone's attention. I was seated and asked if I wanted water. Yes please. They brought water and disappeared. I was not asked for my order for about ten minutes after I was seated. Once I got my order placed, the food and drink all came at the same time. Everything tasted great. It wasn't very busy when I got there, but it was by the time I left. Heads up, you'll need a code for the bathroom.

second time trying Burmese food so I'm still new to the cuisine but everything tasted amazing. We got the Burmese tiffin set for 2. The tea leaf salad was fresh and flavorful. The first time I had this dish elsewhere the ingredients were wilted and soft. The coconut chicken curry with the roti plata was the highlight. Soft chicken in a creamy coconut savory sauce. What more can you ask for. They were super accommodating to my dog being seated with us as well, even offering her some water. Food: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Ambience: 9/10

Kayah is a cozy and beautiful spot to experience well-loved Burmese dishes while you're in the Dogpatch/Mission Bat neighborhood (or before a show at the Chase Center). Price: ~$40/person Recs: Tea leaf salad - Tea leaf salad: Tangy, crunchy, and fresh -- and because I have a peanut allergy, they were able to put the peanuts on the side. - Roti Platha with Dip: Roti was flaky and not too oily. I think it would be nice to have more of the curry chicken and less of the butter since the curry seemed to complement the roti a bit more in my opinion. - Burmese Fried Chicken: Small, crispy pieces of glazed sweet and spicy chicken. Tasty and snackable but likely wouldn't be the most memorable dish of the meal. Service was super attentive and considerate about takeout containers. :)

I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

It takes a lot for me to consider a return visit to a cocktail bar. Most of the time, I just begrudgingly go along with my friends to a mediocre bar, but Blind Pig is a place I would enthusiastically return to again and again. I first got the namesake cocktail: Blind Pig. It was incredibly well-balanced, and the flame presentation upon arrival was an epic mini show. Later during last call, I decided to risk it all and roll the dice to order from the secret menu. I rolled a 5, which got me a wine & Japanese beer concoction with Sichuan peppercorn. Totally feel like this cocktail was made for me, as I rep the 川渝 region. The drink was strong, but that made it all the better. Can't wait to come again and explore more of the menu behind the password-protected iykyk entrance.

I'm personally over (and too old) dealing with sloppy drunks spilling drinks on you, getting pushed around in a crowd or end up in a middle of a brawl Blind Pig is that perfect spot, well at least on a weeknight: chill, low-key, and moody. D R I N K S * Hot & Sour: Tanqueray Gin w/ Iichiko shochu, aloe, rose, hot pot paste, basil, citrus, peychaud's ($18 x2) The sichuan hot pot inspired cocktail was silky smooth from the milk-washed gin, nicely balanced - sweet (but not too sweet) and sour with a subtle málà numbing spice. Stiff yet easy to drink. The manager/bartender, Leo was awesome with great hospitality. Background lounge-y music is not too loud so you can yap and catch-up with friends. Overall, Blind Pig is a great place to unwind after work or start the night off. Seeing that it was named one of the top 50 best bars in North American, we had to check it out! We came in a Thursday night in mid-April about 9:45 PM. They have security outside thar checks IDs & also manages the queue in case the bar gets too crowded. We had no issues getting in, but there were zero indoor seats available - both the bar & table seating. Thankfully, they have a really cozy & well-lit patio area. The waitress let us know that even the outdoor patio has table-side service, so we made ourselves comfortable on the outdoor bench & within seconds she had brought us waters & cocktail menus. Weather outside was really nice, so I'm glad we actually sat outside. Each cocktail is $20, which definitely is a little steep, but I think the creativity, quality, & prestige of being named a top 50 bar supports the price. Each part of the menu is organized by liquor ie whiskey, vodka, brandy, gin, etc. We tried 4 drinks total. I only took menu photos of the pages we ordered from but they have a lot more selections. We ordered the Kung Fu Pandan, Silky Street, Rice Rice Baby, & Tropical Gangsta. We had some favorites over others, but all were very well crafted! The drinks came out pretty quickly considering how busy it was. The only hiccup was our final drink took quite a while. Turns out the ticket machine malfunctioned & deleted orders put in & caused a back-up. The waitress was so apologetic & ended up comp-ing 2 drinks, which she definitely didn't have to but it speaks volumes to the high standards they hold themselves to & their customer service. Overall, highly highly recommend checking this place out for a fun night out or post-dinner treat! Glad we made the decision to stop in!
