This is an amazing store. People don't realize the history at this place for me. Meaning I've gotten wedding suits here. I've gotten shirts here for dates, work, and more! I get my street wear here such as my 2Pac Poetic Justice Shirt. It's basically paradise on the low! Nike is my go to and there is so much fear here and people just walk right passed the store. I've been coming here with my Mom for years and years. My Dad had bought me clothes for events when I've needed such as past issues, current promotions, and so on! The staff is always friendly too. I've known workers from the past and their current workers are all kind. They are working so hard to keep the shelves stocked. We need this store to survive at AZ Mills! We need the parents to go in and buy up the Nike and Jordan backpacks that are $20! We need the people moving too go in and buy up all the art, plates, and more. I had no idea that Burlington Coat Factory carried bottles, various bottle nipple sizes (for Avent & Dr. Brown's), pacifiers, Skip Hop bath toys, and SO many name brand things at a lower cost. I popped in to take a look at their clothes and walked out with SO MANY OTHER THINGS. I spent $40 and walked out with 2 packages of bottle nipples, a Skip Hop knee mat for baths, squishy bath toy letters and numbers, an adorable Carter's outfit, 2 Avent pacifiers for 0-3 months, a Dr. Brown's bottle cleaning brush, and I feel like i'm missing some things. SCORE! These are all items that were on my shopping list and it felt so nice to get it out of the way. The line to the register was a tad long but extra team members stepped in and made it flow nicely. People LOAD UP on goods here because you can find such great prices so checking out just takes a while. I will absolutely pop back in here when needing more baby supplies because I love a good deal! :) They literally have everything that you could need. read more

Took my daughter to Burlington at the Arizona Mills store#287 on October 21 ,2016. I bought $153.00 of shoes (3). And expecting that the inventory being sold are better brands items at a discount price, I trusted the shoes I purchased would last and threw away the receipt. My daughter's Madden dress boots soles came loose and after yesterday's shift, one came completely off. I went back to the Burlington to exchange or replace the shoes. I scoured the store for an exact style in her size or any size so the clerk would have a item number /cost. No luck. At other stores, like walmart, they can look up the receipt by your credit card. Not Burlington, only 30 days for that. They could have looked up by phone #, but the previous cashier failed to ask for mine, no luck. At this point I called the manager over, not one bit of his conversation was helpful. So, the cart full of new purchases went to restock. I will no longer be patronizing your stores. I am posting my dissatisfaction in the store, their products, and policies that aren't made to help their customers. I will also be sharing my poor experience on all social media platforms, and calling corporate headquarters. It may not seem like a lot of money to the phat cats at the top, but $50 is a struggle for me. My daughter is 18 and I wanted to set her up for some basics to give her a boost. I guess she just gets a shitty pair of boots that we have to gorilla glue like the poor people we are. No exciting new shoes to proudly where, just another crappie thing we have to endure. This store is hugh. They have a wide variety of things from clothes to footwear to home decor to suit cases and more. I found a Delsey suitcase for less than half the cost of other retail stores. That to me is a good deal! The team seems to do a good job of keeping the store fairly neat and organized unlike other discount type stores. Kudos on this. They are located at the Arizona Mills Mall and easy to get to. read more

Only giving two stars because I've found some good things here. The store is pretty unorganized and makes clothes shopping difficult. It's a lot better now that they updated it because it was a trash pit before. However it's still not very clean. Theres always chunks of hair on the floor floating around, dirt, and left behind food and drinks from inside the mall. Major thing to giving bad stars is the fact that everything that comes over the intercom even music is in Spanish. Last I checked we are in America, and as an English speaking American I would like to hear even just the regular radio station while shopping and be able to understand what they are even saying over the intercom. To be completely honest I have cut my shopping short and spent less money because everything is in Spanish. They would probably save some sales by using a standard English music station. read more

I have always been a fan of Burlington's deals, however I will not be shopping at this one again. I went to return a belt... pretty simple. Instead, I stood in the customer service line for 15 minutes thanks to an employee of Burlington buying/putting things on layaway. It took three other staff to help her out. There were no words said to me except "Hold on". I was pissed. When the lady was finally done, the employee at the service asked "what do you want?" Serious help is needed there! Bought a shirt with a broken button and didn't realize it. Called to get a refund, and the lady was making up all these reasons that why I couldn't refund a shirt I bought YESTERDAY that I still had the receipt for that they sold to me in bad condition. The lady I spoke to was very unprofessional sounding, and was rude about her approach. I am a honest paying customer who buys frequently, but might reconsider. She eventually allowed me to have store credit, which is what I wanted in the first place, but she was too busy making me out to be a thief, to ask. Huge store, it's basically like one mega Ross. The merchandise is pretty much the same but there is more of it to choose from, and the prices are pretty similar. If I am looking for something that Ross doesn't have, I usually trek over here to find it. Watch out for those pushy sales people on the way though! This place is great for looking for gifts at this time of year especially. They have a huge assortment of slippers, purses, perfume, jewelry, toys, fragrances, coats, housewares, baby items, clothes, packaged food, and smaller item furniture. You can find some really good deals on expensive coats for way less. I seem to never be able to leave without buying junk food, or jewelry. I came here for baby clothes. They have a good selection of brands: carters, gerber, gymboree, puma, Jordan, and so on. Lots of shoes. BUT everything was so ridiculously unorganized. The sizes were all mixed up not to mention the styles. Boy's and girls' clothes are kept separate but don't expect much more than that. I found a few cute things in the disarray and got them for a good price. My poor review is highly influenced by their bathroom situation, good god. Firstly it's super dirty in there & smells like tu sabes que. They put a giant open trash can right under the changing table- gross. Speaking of the changing table, it's about to fall of the hinges. Originally went in just to walk around and kill time. I hadn't been in a Burlington in ten years so I wasn't expecting to stick around to browse. The feel of it is much like a Goodwill or Savers because of the disheveled racks but I was thoroughly impressed with the items they had and the prices they had for them. I actually ended up purchasing some stuff, I was that thrilled! I even found items that are cheaper there than they are at a Walmart. Now, not everything there is sold at a largely discounted price but I definitely will be returning in the future to see what other bargains I can snag, rather than settling for Walmart. read more

I had an interesting experience here. I went to buy a suit. Luckily, BCFW had a red tag sale going on and I found an awesome Charcoal Kenneth Cole two piece. I was in a good mood because I figured, "Heck, I'll land that job with this, no problem." As I was leaving the dressing room, a guy from the suit section and from the Big and Tall section were having an epic battle of words about 4 feet away from me. I was rather interested, so I stood there and observed. I couldn't hear what it was about but the suit guy said "shut up you #####" and the big guy said "don't walk away ####." Now, I'm a 25 year old dude, so I used language like this alot, but never in a setting like this. Luckily, there were no kids around but I'm pretty sure thats the kinda thing parents would want to avoid. I have returned a few times after this incident and the suit guy remains an employee there while the big guy has moved on. read more

Went into this store as I do every Sunday. While I was in the beauty dept loss prevention lady(Mary) asked if I needed help, I kindly declined. Then I make my way to the lady's clothes Mary comes in that area like she straighten up the racks( which wasn't messy). Then I make my way to the household goods guess who's there? Yes, Mary. My daughter then said she had to use the restroom so we make our way towards the restroom ( we left our cart in the hallway)When I came out my oldest daughter and son is waiting for us and so is Mary. I then had enough and approached her and asked why are we being followed in which she replied I am not following you I said it really uncomfortable. She apologize for making us uncomfortable. At this point I was already livid I asked the cashier is that their procedure to follow ppl. He stated no and asked who was doing it. It's 9pm pretty empty he knew exactly who it was I went ahead and told him anyways he said Oh! He was as dry as the Phx desert just really unbothered. So I then asked for corporate number. After I got the number I wanted to get Mary's name. As I approached her, her back is turned she's on the phone speaking about us(My Family). Whomever she was speaking to she let them know how we pushed the basket by the bathroom. She then stated no"" they didn't take it in. No I didn't see them take anything. That's when I spoke up and startled her and said No! we didn't steal anything. She turns around in utter shock trying to apologize again. I was angry, shocked, disappointed and wanted to take all the things I got back to get my refund. She only apologize because she got caught and it meant absolutely nothing to her. One day I was out at the local mall and I decided to venture out and look inside Burlington. Since that day I have never missed an opportunity to shop there. They have everything from clothes to house hold items. There variety is amazing compared to any other store. Clothing comes in all sizes and there house hold items are all original. You really can't buy two of the same product because they usually only have one. I was under the impression for the longest time that they only sold coats and man was I wrong. The store is usually clean and the people are general nice. Prices are so reasonable they honestly can't be beat for quality. Don't hesitate like I did, just shop. They are mostly reasonable prices too compared to the retail price so that in all leaves me satisfied. I went to Burlington to look for school uniforms for my 3 grandchildren, well couldn't find anything so I asked the cashier what time they closed so i could go into az mills mall to look at other stores and she said at 9:30 p.m well it was a Sunday and I found out they closed at 6:30, that wrong info got us locked out the store from Az mills mall entrance and I had parked in front of burlington coat factory parking lot, wow I was upset because me and my 4 grandchildren had to walk around the mall to get to our car, and that could of been avoided if that cashier from Burlington would have gave me the correct info. read more

I bought a stroller from the location in Arizona Mills in Tempe AZ and wanted to return it because my wife said it was too big and heavy, the manager refused to accept the return stating I used the item which we never used it. He was so condescending and basically walked away without repacking the stuff he took out of the box, so I left it there. Very poor customer service. read more

About 2 months ago my fiance and I went in to purchase a blazer and we couldn't have had a better experience. I can't remember his name, but a skinny Indian guy helped us find the perfect jacket for my fiance. He took his time to measure Ty, give us suggestions and help look for sizes. He was super busy putting clothes away, arranging racks and doing his other duties but set aside a good chunk of time to make it a good shopping experience because we had no idea what size/length we'd need. Cashier Emily is very rude and not welcoming at all when you enter the store. I went in there trying to exchange some outfits with the tags on them still, as she try to send me away because she thought it smelt like cigarettes. As i let her know that im not a smoker, she continue to tell me that was a nicer way to tell me that they had smelt like marijuana , not to mention she had said that infront of there manager who claims he didnt hear anything . which is very sad, because as a manager he should have listen to the customer and redirect the employee. I know he had to hear it because the customer he was helping who was standing right beside me said that was rude of her to tell a customer that! And not to mention i have a medical card, but what is it to her? Not very much customer service skills to try and point out a customers medical issues infront of others just because you dont agree with that prop.
