It was my first purchase there and most likely my last…read more There are plenty of other stores around that sell western wear Boot Barn, Cavenders, Furia, Tecovas, and Ugarte. I thought I'd try Gomez Western Wear to give a new business a try. The selection inside Gomez was nice and service was friendly. I also saw a group of kids buying shirts for a quincenera. Then, I found a common black button up shirt my dad had liked via our FaceTime conversation (he lives in a different state). I thought I'd get him a new black shirt for Father's Day and because he only dresses up on special occasions (therefore has a limited selection). I ended up sending him the shirt via USPS in a big package around July because I sent it along with some other goodies for 4th of July. Fast forward to August 3rd he wore it to a dress up wedding. At the wedding the buttons started to pop off. That is so embarrassing for not only my dad but also me. I cannot believe something like that happened. My dad is a timid person typically this made it worse. He left the event due to the shirt falling apart and being utterly embarrassed. I've looked the website and understand the unfortunate return policy. Now I know where not to shop. I just hope you all start selling better quality products or offer better return policies in the future because of that I will now be taking my business elsewhere.

I've shopped at Madewell online and the shop in Atlanta and was happy to see another shop here. The store is clean, bright, and well organized. It's a great place to finally try on that thing you kept leaving in your cart online. I ended up finding some great basic black Ts for a reasonable price. I also appreciate that they had quite a bit of staff working on the weekend. I was asked if I needed help a few times and took someone up on the offer one of those times. Otherwise, it's pretty basic retail. A bit cramped, but that's expected in this highly-trafficked part of town.

They have souvenir type items that don't scream "AUSTIN" which is more my speed. We were greeted right away when we walked in by a super friendly employee who chatted with us for awhile. I kept wandering around, finding so many cute and fun items and wishing we had a bigger suitcase so I could buy more stuff. Apparently they're known for their vintage pearl snap shirts with fun embroidery; I saw one with a cat with lasers coming out of its eyes, which I thought was great. I didn't even look at the pricing on them while in the store since I figured they'd be pretty expensive. They sell them on their website and it looks like they run about $59-$69. They also have other apparel, like a pair of sweatpants that said "work hard & eat lots of tacos," which I could definitely appreciate. I saw jewelry, makeup, lots of books, art, candles, including a big selection of those celebrity prayer candles, baby items, bath items, CBD joints, stickers... they have a lot of stuff packed in to this store but it doesn't feel overwhelming. It's really nicely curated and arranged. If I'm ever back in town I'm definitely going to stop in again. We ended up buying some stickers and a little "Daily Catitudes" desktop flip book with cute photos of kittens. If you have young kids who might wonder about the phallic looking design on a puzzle or is able to read curse words and you'd prefer they didn't... maybe don't bring them into this shop.

We were nearby having lunch and walked over and it's still there! Tons of beautiful crystals and I was able to get a Rose quartz and two smokey quartz towers - all really good quality for insanely good prices. They have some great vintage clothing inside and some cute accessories and fun items. Great location near to some other cool shops and finds and Hillside Pharmacy for fabulous bites. Super friendly staff who wrapped my gems up with love and care for the trip back to VA. A+

Charm School Vintage is one of my favorite stores in our neighborhood…read more They've carefully curated vintage pieces with western flair (clothing, jewelry, etc). In addition, you'll be able to find items from various eras as far back as the 30s through the 70s. I've seen some stuff there even older than the 30s. Everything is of exceptional quality and condition. Not only do they sell but they buy as well. If you've got vintage wear you'd like to get rid of, try them. They give cash or credit for things they'll buy from folks. As with most stores like this, you'll get more in store credit for your stuff. Fun fact: they've also got a location in Waco.
