I've shopped at Madewell online and the shop in Atlanta and was happy to see another shop here. The store is clean, bright, and well organized. It's a great place to finally try on that thing you kept leaving in your cart online. I ended up finding some great basic black Ts for a reasonable price. I also appreciate that they had quite a bit of staff working on the weekend. I was asked if I needed help a few times and took someone up on the offer one of those times. Otherwise, it's pretty basic retail. A bit cramped, but that's expected in this highly-trafficked part of town.

Apparently they're known for their vintage pearl snap shirts with fun embroidery; I saw one with a cat with lasers coming out of its eyes, which I thought was great. I didn't even look at the pricing on them while in the store since I figured they'd be pretty expensive. They sell them on their website and it looks like they run about $59-$69. They also have other apparel, like a pair of sweatpants that said "work hard & eat lots of tacos," which I could definitely appreciate. I saw jewelry, makeup, lots of books, art, candles, including a big selection of those celebrity prayer candles, baby items, bath items, CBD joints, stickers... they have a lot of stuff packed in to this store but it doesn't feel overwhelming. In addition, you'll be able to find items from various eras as far back as the 30s through the 70s. I've seen some stuff there even older than the 30s. Everything is of exceptional quality and condition. Not only do they sell but they buy as well. If you've got vintage wear you'd like to get rid of, try them. They give cash or credit for things they'll buy from folks. As with most stores like this, you'll get more in store credit for your stuff. Fun fact: they've also got a location in Waco.

Ariana was eager to help and assist us and she showed us how the carry-on bag functioned. She helped us choose between two bags then checked us out and was completely helpful to us. This time I thought I'd use the self checkout. The lady taking the security tags off said, "I'll help you THIS time, but next time if you have more than 10 items get in the other line." I looked down and counted. I had 11 items. Give me a break! I checked myself out. She just had to take security tags off of my clothes. I don't care that this store is right by my house. I will NEVER step foot in there again. I will drive to Brodie and go to TJ Maxx. I am in hotel management. If I treated people this poorly, I'd be fired. Do better. Hire people with manners and customer service.
