He got a quick overview of my accident and where I was in the insurance process, before assessing the damage. He thoroughly explained what repair would entail, the timeline to repair, and ran some quotes. My previous collision evaluator provided a similar repair quote, but Mike made everything much easier to grasp and comprehensively overviewed what each step would entail. Mike told me he operates the way he'd like to be treated, and that very much came through. He was extremely professional, approachable, and real, and talked to me like a human not a checkbook. He took the time to explain allll the nitty gritty and gave me all the data I needed to make an informed decision. I ultimately chose to let my car go (still sobbing!) but I felt empowered and comfortable to make that decision based on Mike's thorough assessment. Our interaction was relatively short, but I'd absolutely return to MCC if - god forbid - my future car requires collision repair. Mike is the man!

I met with Steve and he and two others from his team came out and looked at the damage. Steve explained to me that both doors would need to be painted so that the color would match correctly as my damage was close to the edge of the front door also. He walked me through the process, told me how much and how long it would take. We scheduled my drop-off and he communicated with me during the job. Car was delivered 100% looking great and absolutely on time. When I went to drop the car off, the same lot only had a few vehicles in it- they had fixed and completed the work on most all of them that week. AMAZING Steve saved me over $2,000 versus the bid I received close to home. It is/was worth the drive for sure, easy access off and on I-5 . I need to recommend you stop by for an estimate and then stop in again to set up a drop off date if you choose to get your repairs done here, they were kind of hard to get in touch with by phone because they are most likely very busy, so plan ahead.

I took my Toyota Tundra in for some repairs since I figured that the shop was affiliated with Toyota, so the service should be good. Oh boy was I wrong. I dropped my truck off a month ago and was told that my truck should be done by the end of week 2. The truck needed additional repairs and they said they contacted my insurance to get the adjuster to come out and see and approve of the repairs, which they should be there in 1-2 days. My insurance didn't call me about it until 4 days later to tell me that the adjuster will come out there to see the truck, so... Did the shop really call my insurance at all before giving me that 1-2 day estimate..? Either way, they said the car will get done by the end of week 3, so I called on Thursday to get an update. They tell me it won't get done and should be done by early week 4... So I called on the following Tuesday to get an update and they tell me it won't get done by Thursday... I called just now (it's Thursday) and the guy handling my truck isn't here today and the person filling in said the truck is still in the paint shop (which Mike told me it was in the paint shop on Tuesday and should get painted and reassembled the following day). He tells me it probably won't be done by the end of today.. So now I'm waiting on him to come back from lunch to give me another update... WORST experience in my life. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place for anyone.

Matt helped me out in the first two inital greetings and then Larry (the owner), basically followed up with all the cost estimating and appointment setting. I'm not a huge fan of dealing with mechanics shops and hadn't really had the experience of dealing with a body shop before, so I had the same feelings at first that I do of mechanics placese. I was told by my insurance that this place was handling both the body damage and a mechanical diagnostic. Before I picked up the car, I called in to inquire about the status and Larry informed me the work was done and that they had taken it around the block and "listened" for anything unusual. After some conversation, it was made clear that they do not actually have a certified mechanic on staff and I was uneasy to the tune of the "diagnostic" done as Larry had stated "well, we didn't know what it sounded like before you brought it in of course but nothing sounds out of the ordinary". This is an issue I took back to my insurance, who in turn decided to let me take it to the dealership for the diagnostic. NOW. The good news! The body work was increidible and the work is guaranteed by the shop for life. Not to mention, after I picked up my car from the dealership they told me the car was fine and also stated that whoever did the body work on the front end did a really stellar job. When I told them it had been Kirmac they said, oh yea that's a great shop! We tell our customers to go there all the time. So, while there was some initial confusion about the dx portion of the services rendered I do have to give a shout out to Kirmac in Burien and a BIGGER shout out to Larry. You guys handled my repairs really well, were very patient with my waivering on the final results and I especially appriciated the little card and hand made basket of chocolate that you left on my dash board. You guys rock! This shop is excellent.

I did notice an issue on my car door after I picked up my car, called them up, took it in the next day and it's as good as new. I would go back to them. My only issue is that their communication isn't the greatest. I never received any phone calls about the work being done even though I left them several numbers to reach me at. I did receive emails though. Unlike the previous reviewer, I did not find a hand written note or chocolates in my car when I picked it up.
