3 star just because someone brought me some Burgerville but it was sitting in a car for 2 hours. The fries were a complete loss. Cold and stuck together. The burger seemed "fresh". As in, the ingredients seemed fresh. The burger itself was a bit bland. I don't know if they season their patties. I never saw the place so I can't speak to the ambiance. Seemed like a standard fast food place. If I'm in the area I will update my review. Good luck. Hopefully you get fresh food. read more

It turns out the Cherry Peach Bliss Cobber ~is not~ vegan due to the biscuit .. ugh! It didn't even occur to me to ask but thankfully my wife started to wonder about it later and was able to verify this for us (see attached screenshot of her correspondence with Burgerville)! My apologies for getting that one wrong. I give Burgerville credit for replying to her email pretty quickly (which we didn't end up seeing right away due to a busy weekend) ================ Anytime we drive down to Portland, we're always compelled to check out the latest vegan options from the Burgerville's Centralia, WA location. It has been a bit of time since our last visit to Burgerville and one big change is they no longer carry the Beyond burger. In it's place, they offer a rather delicious new vegan burger with more whole food ingredients such as cooked chickpeas, lentils, caramelized onions, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and red beets. While personally, I enjoy all variants of the Beyond burger, there's no doubt that Burgerville's new vegan burger option has hit it out of the park. I ordered their Vegan Cheezeburger along with a plant based version of their Wonton Salad. We were also sure to take advantage of their seasonal options by combining our Cheezeburger with Sweet Potato Fries and adding a bit of decadence by trying both, their Peach & Cherry Cobbler and, the Oregon Marionberry Sundae. We've always appreciated our visits to Burgerville and this time was no different. By virtue of offering not just a vegan burger but one made from whole food ingredients and ... vegan cheese (the latter, practically unheard for fast food omni restaurants) as well as multiple vegan desserts (equally as rare for omni fast food), they bring something to the table (literally and figuratively lol) that's otherwise rather hard to come by in this area without having to drive further south to Portland (the new vegan fast food restaurant, Faceplant (which I hope to visit soon!) or other Burgerville locations) or north to Vancouver, BC for Oddburger (also available in other major Canadian cities). One local option that could be considered relatively comparable is Fatburgers, as they offer an Impossible Burger with Daiya cheese and vegan milkshakes in multiple flavors with local locations in Redmond, Issaquah, and Anacortes. I appreciate their options as well, although they tend to be a bit pricier, much less likely to have a drive-thru option, and while they offer vegan shakes, they do not offer vegan sundae options. I've said before and I'll say again, I would love if Burgerville would expand into the greater Seattle area, having awesome vegan fast food options with a drive-thru would really add something that overall is lacking in this area. Drive by here all the time while shopping at the outlets, but never really thought of getting food here. Did grab a couple shakes once for the road. We were driving past around morning time on a trip, and my bf wanted breakfast. I saw that they actually had biscuits and gravy, which my bf loves, and you rarely see this at fast food restaurants. My bf got the Biscuit Dipper and I got the Breakfast Scramble Bowl. We enjoyed it. Good breakfast and good amount for a fast food restaurant. When my cousin was taking her kids out on a little road trip, they wanted breakfast. And I suggested she stop by here for breakfast. They are always the highlight of the menu... this time I had the Walla Walla onion rings and the fresh raspberry shake... no regrets! The onion rings where juicy and toothsome on the inside and coated with crispy batter that shattered when chomped! The garlic aioli was creamy and savory. The service was amazing and friendly, and the ambiance is about what one should expect of a fast food chain, but here's where it takes a turn. Three medium fountain drinks alone cost 10 fuckin dollars! 10$!!!!!!!! I tried Burgerville for the first time and really loved it. This is the only location closest to Seattle. I was with friends for a weekend in the Centralia area, and we decided to eat here. It was very delicious. I had the vegan burger, chocolate vegan shake, fried asparagus, and strawberry shortcake. The food was okay, but the shakes were the best. I felt that the food was nothing special and had a decent taste, but the desserts were delicious! The shakes were very creamy and delicious. I couldn't even tell that I was drinking a vegan shake. As vegetarians, my wife and I really appreciated all the vegetarian friendly options. I love the classic retro feel of the diner. It took me back to my 90s fast food days. The staff that helped us were friendly as well. Overall, I definitely recommend Burgerville and this location. read more

Driving on the 5, I needed to stop somewhere for lunch and I had heard good things about burgerville so I decided to stop by. Immediately, the parking lot was packed. The drive through line was so long, and not a ton of parking spots, but I managed to find one, and got out to stretch my legs and grab a bite. The inside was quite packed, and I overheard one of the managers telling a customer that they are the northernmost location in Washington, so they tend to get a lot of customers from either side who specifically want burgerville. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and rosemary fries and a hazelnut chocolate shake. I got my burger and fries first. The fries were amazingly flavorful and very well spiced. The texture was not as McDonald's like as I prefer, but the taste was worth it for me. The sandwich itself was great too, good texture and flavor! Pickle heavy, for those that may not like pickles. The shake was the second stand out though, the hazelnut flavor was incredibly strong, and it all tasted very fresh. In the future, I'd definitely be interested in trying a burger and the strawberry shake! The place itself was packed. By the time I was leaving, the line was incredibly long, and there was no seating for people. But overall, a good quick fast food place with higher quality food than most! read more

I ordered online, a cheesecake, double cheeseburger, fries, fried green beans, and a milkshake. $37 This was my first and last time. The counter service was terrible, I stood in the mobile order line while 2 cashier kept taking orders. My food was right in front of me. I finally asked a worker who wasn't on counter and he gave me my food. Could tell already the bag wasn't hot =cold food. So we microwaved our $37 dinner and ate frozen beef patties, no flavor fries, a watery foamy milf drink called a milkshake. The fried green beans were decent. Burgerville remains a solid refueling option for trips between Seattle and Portland. Just off the highway, it's a quick stop that offers quality shakes to accompany the usual fast food menu. They do a good job balancing the drive through with walk in service. In years past, we always chose this location for the outdoor playground. When the kids were younger, they'd burn off some excess energy while we ate, and the kid's food would be ordered to-go, to give them something to keep them busy in the car. Sadly, the playground doesn't seem to be there anymore, but the shakes still make for a pleasant place to stretch our legs. read more

The food at Burgerville is always top of the line for fast foods. We are especially partial to their shakes, especially the mocha and the hazelnut. But they are the only fast food place I can think of that whey you pay they ask for a tip. That is gross. They don't even have the decency to say they are asking for a tip -- they say "you are going to get asked a question." Yeah, the question is do you want to tip at a fast food restaurant when no other fast food restaurant in the world asks for a tip. It is so awkward and off-putting that I docked Burgerville a star. Great fast food at a good value that you have to endure an incredibly awkward situation of telling the people preparing the food you will or will not tip them as you wonder if they spit in your food. This used to be one of my go to places for lunch, but after the last two visits, I doubt I will ever return. Second to last visit, I ordered fish and chips. It was the worst fish I have tasted in a long time (greasy with thick tasteless batter and the fish tasted old). The pieces were very small (not that it mattered in my case since it tasted so gross, I didnt finish even one piece). The order of fries on the side were so small, it was like a kids portion. My most recent visit, I ordered their seasonal salad. Which was a bunch of spinach with a tsp of pumpkin seeds and craisins and red onion and cabbage. It was the most boring tasteless salad. To add insult to injury, I ordered chicken as a protein and they gave me the smallest bit of chicken on the side. I actually could not believe I just paid 11 for this salad. The value is not there anymore. The food is meh, the portions are small, and the prices are high. Burgerville used to pride itself on using local products for fresher taste but honestly they dont taste any better than any other fast food and their prices are double. Another thing I cannot stand is having someone at a fast food restaurant hand me the credit card machine and ask me if I want to leave a tip as they are doing so. STOP making consumers pay high prices for food and then ask us to tip employees HANDING me my food out of a window. I am not responsible for employee wages! I hardly see anyone in the lobby or drive thru when I drive by. I am guessing this place will sadly, be going under, soon. Bring back quality food and value please! read more

Every time me and my family are nearby, or in the Oregon area we always have to stop at Burgerville for one of our meals! It always fells special to come here knowing they don't have any locations closer to the Seattle area. I've always came to this Burgerville in specific, because it's so close to a yearly family trip, Great Wolf Lodge. For this visit in specific we came for dinner, and it wasn't busy at all. I've seen this place have up to an hour wait, so note you may be waiting for a while. The price is really good for the quality and portions, but the foods taste is just okay. The burgers and fries are just meh, but all their frozen desserts are spectacular. I really love their non-dairy soft serve, it's delicious and perfect for people who have a dairy intolerance. You can't go wrong with their normal soft serve, and delicious shakes. This place really relies on their treats, and occasional delicious seasonals, like the waffle fries, sweet potato fries, fried asparagus, and seasonal shakes and sundaes. The workers for this visit were also super kind, and the service was very efficient. Grass Fed, Grass Finished Carman Ranch Beef Patty, Face Rock Two-Year Aged White Cheddar, Mayo, Tomato, Red Onion, Pickles on a Grand Central Bakery Brioche Bun. Carman Ranch is in Wallowa County, OR. All of their beef is grass, fed, as well as antibiotic and hormone free. I don't eat a lot of fast food burgers, so I was surprised by the price, which is in line with what you would pay for a restaurant burger. But Burgerville uses high quality ingredients, the food is cooked to order, and they provide health insurance for their employees. So, it makes sense that things would cost a little more. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavor of my meal. It was served hot. My burger was much more flavorful than a typical fast food burger. The french fries were good. My family had an excellent experience at Burgerville last week. My kid and I went in to order while my husband walked the dogs and when we came back out to meet up with him, our little one dropped their lemonade. We went back inside to let a worker know that there were strawberry bits on the floor right outside the door and he gave us a fresh lemonade (completely unexpected!) before cleaning up the mess. The food was great, as always, and our little one's tears turned into a big grin. I didn't catch the worker's name, but if he reads it we want him to know that his kindness is appreciated! One of my roommates heard this burger company was pretty good, especially the lemonade, based off some of the recommendations she was given. Finally got the chance to check it out! The location my friends and I went to was the one down in Centralia. It's located across of Wendy's on a huge lot with many cars lined up for the drive thru. Their dine in is still closed, and I don't think you can order from inside. I got their seasonal burger: Hopyard cheddar burger. It had red onions, some salad type of greens, burger with cheddar cheese and ranch. Mmm. It sounded soooo good. I was starting to get hangry and couldn't wait until I got home to eat it. The first initial bite was delicious! It had a lot of flavor, and I loved how soft the buns were. Quality buns. Yum. But as I continued eating it, it wasn't as amazing as that initial bite. I thought my patty was kind of overcooked, and I barely tasted the ranch flavor. Dang. $7 for this burger and not very content saaaad. I also got the strawberry lemonade which had REAL STRAWBERRY BITS WHAAAAT. The initial sip was super sour but the strawberries definitely balanced the sweet and sour. My brother and sister in law won't shut up about this place so when Bath and Body Works was having their summer sale at the Centralia Outlets, I figured now is my chance. I ordered a burger, shoestring fries, and a peppermint shake with chocolate bits. I remember that shake because I came back the next day, all the way from Tumwater, to get another shake. I loved the bits of chocolate that went perfectly with the shake. Too bad it was a seasonal option because I haven't enjoyed another one of their shakes. My sis in law swears by the cold brew, but I dunno. The manager was so cool because she stopped by our table to ask how we were doing. She saw we didn't order any fry sauce, so she excused herself and came back with one of each of the sauces. Whaaaat?!? You have to pay for those, but she wanted us to try each one so that when we came back, we'd know which one to order. Now that is outstanding service. Came back in the winter and it was not as fun as an experience. Ordered the cheeseburger and it had the Burgerville sauce which is a yellow and almost greenish. The color didn't put me off, but I can't tell what the taste is. People love the Tillamook cheese, but it was just cheddar and I can't tell the difference. The standout is the shoestring fries. Why don't more burger places offer them. They remind me of moules et frites and with the garlic aioli they sure taste like them and when they get cold, they aren't too bad because they are so thin. Amazing fast food for people that don't eat fast food. Amazing burgers for people that do. I don't eat fast food. But I eat at BurgerVille when I am in Centralia. I try to avoid GMO's and overly processed meat so there is very few fast foods I will eat. Chipotle and BurgerVille are really the only 2. And I hate Chipotle's atmosphere, it's like going to a middle school party where the parents are nowhere to be found. BurgerVille is awesome. Quiet most of the time inside, as most people are going through the drive through. Great service, great food. I usually get whatever is the special, if it's spicy, and a double cheeseburger. Great kids meals for my girls. Only complaint is every time I've gotten French fries, I've gotten a headache. I don't each much salt, I don't cook with salt, so it's probably a personal problem. But luckily I prefer 2 burgers, no side, and a water. Blazin Hot Chicken sandwich is amazing. One time it was perfect, one time it was over mayoed. Don't order it if you don't like spicy. Glad I trusted the good reviews on this. Went here after a trip to the great wolf lodge and it exceeded my expectations. My husband had the burger no6 and he's a real food snob and he LOVED it. Daughter and I had the chicken sandwiches and they were so good!! The sauces are all amazing and their Sunday's were great and the orange dream was really good. Exceptional service too, Austen was amazing and so patient with my order for 5 people. This will definitely be a place we stop any time we're nearby. I stopped here on my way to Newport for lunch. Since I don't live anywhere near one of these, I had this on my list of places to go. It didn't disappoint. My chicken sandwich and rosemary fries were really good. Not really a whole lot to say otherwise. I didn't mind paying for sauces too much, but I'd never seen a fast food restaurant charge for the one sauce. This place is conveniently located just off of I-5, and the service was friendly. I stayed here for a long time eating and reading my book before heading on to Newport. It was an enjoyable meal. They don't have a big selection as far as salads go, but next time I may skip the rosemary fries (but boy were they good!) and opt for something healthier. I will stop here again on my way to or from Oregon. I like that they have a rewards ap and they give you a ton of points for a small purchase.
