Food is terrible and overpriced! Was looking forward to something new...Very dissapointed and won't be back!!

I haven't had much to honestly be disappointed. I love the turkey burgers and regular burgers. We also to milkshake runs there.

Service sucked!!!!!! We waited and waited. There was no line and one other family dining. Then we went back to order a shake and it took over 10 minutes. They were rude and need to be trained better. Super disappointing. Been coming here for years and this was the worst service EVER! They need new staff!!!! read more

Stopped by between a road trip from Seattle to Hood River. They are still closed for dine-in but open for drive-thru. Blueberry milkshake 5/5 I wouldn't get it with whipped cream again (too heavy) but this flavor was delicious. Spicy veggie burger 4.5/5 Chipotle mayo was not spicy and they went a little heavy with it imo... But this is probably the first decent veggie burger I've ever had. It's made with adzuki beans. Title: Angry employees kept screwing up, got annoyed with me, and finally ran me off I hate writing things like this. For every negative Yelp review I write, I make myself go write two positive reviews about places I like. Because I don't just want to be someone who only posts to complain. But if I feel the need to drive off with no food, while waiting for my second food correction in an hour, I have to let the owner know. I really don't ever want to come back. I've been coming to this Burgerville, making the same exact order for probably 15 years. (I also make the exact same order at other Burgerville's with, honestly, 100% success so far, in 20 years. So that's pretty great. But I'm directing this at this particular location.) I make the order so often, that I still can't adjust to the new naming. I just say it /exactly/ the same, every time. "Tillamook burger basket, dry, with a coke." I tell people I like Burgerville in particular, because they know what "dry" means, and I never have to explain it. It's simple: no sauces. And they have a button for it. Sad chain of events: - make my order at the menu. Realize I used the old term "Tillamook burger", apologized, and tried to correct. Made the order twice. "tillamook burger basket, dry, with a coke", then corrected "Sorry, I mean Northwest cheeseburger" and she jumped in, "I got it." And she read it back correctly. Then I added regular onion rings. All good so far. - Cash window: got a total, made my payment. Fine. - Waiting there, between windows, I think that the cash window didn't mention "dry", so I should confirm that. - Pickup window, she hands me drink, then two bags. I say "Nobody has echoed back that this is "dry", I just wanted to make sure it's dry." She says "What?" I say "Is this dry?" She nods and says "yes". I give her thumbs up and say "perfect, thank you!", and drive off. - Since I just got the direct confirmation, I head home. Get to my destination in about 15 minutes, and discover my food is wrong. - Drive back to Burgerville to correct the order. Go to the door with "ring the doorbell" note on it, since I'm not waiting for the drivethrough again. I ring the doorbell. There's someone else there waiting also, who says they've ringed the doorbell. - We've been waiting a while, with no sign of life, and I see the door is open, so I take my wrong order inside to get it corrected. Multiple people look at me kind of scared, and they tell me they're closed, and to leave. I explain how I got there, through the open front door, and they walk me outside. Acting really annoyed with me, and repeating how they are closed. - Girl asks what's wrong, I tell her what I ordered, and what I got. She seems frustrated, and goes inside. - A couple drivethrough cars go through, and she comes back out. Gives me bag. I open to check, and immediately see it's wrong. She sees I have a problem, but then takes order from someone else, then asks me what's wrong. I tell her there's no lettuce, tomatoes, or pickles on it, and give her my order again, repeating "dry", and she goes inside. I've now got two bags of food in the trash outside. - I don't know how long I was there after that, but I was talking with the other person waiting outside, who also rang the doorbell, about the experience, and told her that I don't know what their problem is, but if I see three cars pull out of the drivethrough while I'm waiting on my order from 40 minutes ago, I'm leaving. - I'm sitting on the pavement, in the Burgerville parking lot, eating my cold fries and cold onion rings, drinking my coke with melted ice, and I saw four cars pull out of the drivethrough, almost an hour now since I made my order, and that was it. I went and ate somewhere else. I have no idea if anyone ever came back with my food (correct or not). I want to think something positive, like the location is stressed, and can't get the employees it needs, so everyone is overworked, and overloaded. But I didn't get that message. I just got employees who seemed so annoyed with me that I would have been scared to eat what they finally gave me, so I felt I had to leave my paid meal and go elsewhere. Also wish I didn't have one more thing to pile on top, but the onion rings here were mush. I'd just had some at the Tanisbourne, Hillsboro, Oregon location two days ago, which were great. But at this location I got a bag of goo in one big lump. Everything all sort of mushed together, greasy, and burned to a pulp. :( And, trust me, this is no casual review. This place is a classic retro restaurant with vintage tables and chairs. They sell their special burger spread up front too. We opted for the bacon burger, fries and a strawberry shake which was delicious. It tastes super fresh and not greasy. They use real lettuce that is actually green. Not the iceburg kind with no nutritional value. My wife got a strawberry shortcake sundae-so good. The service was very fast and friendly. It's expensive but good for a fast food joint. First off, this is the only fast food restaurant where you can get a quality non-dairy milkshake... And it is AWESOME! But... The running of this location sucks. Everytime we come here, to their drive thru only business, we spend at least 30 minutes in line. There is nothing fast about this business. If you dare get in line after 9pm and you don't order by 9:30pm... They won't take your order, even at 9:31pm... Go ahead ask me how I know that. The dining room is closed, you can't walk in just to order, it's drive thru only... Unless you order for pickup via their app. When the app works, the whole process is great, but 4 out of 5 times you still have to go through the drive thru line, but now your stressed out after trying to get the app to work for the last 30 minutes. Lesson here, is get in the drive thru lane while using the app... Maybe you'll get lucky, but either way you'll get your shake in 30 minutes, unless you try to order at 9:31pm. road trips require a certain kind of fuel and i'm not talking about what you're using in your car's gas tank. sure, i can pack healthy snacks for the hours in the car as the landscape rushes by outside but when it comes to choosing an exit off the highway, pulling over and taking a break for food and drink, i can't do the quintessential fast food: i'm not going to be going through a mcdonald's drive thru or stopping at an applebee's but on this trip my friend and i stopped at burgerville and it was just the right amount of road trip quick but it a) tasted like something and b) had more character and nutrition than what other roadside options were. being a vegetarian meant i was limited to fish or the anasazi bean burger and when you're at burgerville, it seems like it's clear what one should order. so an anasazi bean burger and order of sweet potato fries later, i wasn't bloated by cheap, tasteless ingredients or feeling like i'd taken a bath in a vat of grease. the waitstaff were polite and funny on a thursday night. the restaurant dining area and bathroom were both clean and we left feeling like it had been a completely fine choice as we made our way along the i5 corridor south. i will keep burgerville in mind for shakes on the next drive. read more

my stop here was a disappointment, and below average from the time I opened the door. First, as I walk up to the counter, the young man working there, saw me turn around and went on to do something else. When I got there it was not filled to the top. If I'm going to order a six dollar or seven dollar shake I want it all. When I showed it to him, he acted as if he didn't know what I was talking about, and I was speaking in another language. I asked him if this was a 16 ounce cup? He said yes. I asked him if I had purchased a 16 ounce shake? He said yes. So I have a come up to him and I said then why isn't the cup full response backwards? We don't do that here . What do you mean you don't sell a 16 ounce shake and fill it up to 16 ounces? No we don't do that here. I handed it back a cup and I asked him to go fill it up. His response to me was aggressive and a little hostile. The lady that had initially walked right by me and ignored me when I came in mumbled something to him looked at me like I was the unpopular get in high school and snickered and smiled as you walk past me. I asked her what are you talking about and she just dumb it up and said what? So after this lovely exchange, I turned to Lee with my burger feeling underappreciated and underserved. I want to start by saying my husband and I love Burgerville and make it a point to stop at one everytime we visit our daughter in Oregon. With that said we are extremely disappointed in the quality and safety of food at this location. Shortly after eating his Northwest burger that was undercooked my husband became incredibly sick with food poisoning which pretty much ruined our visit and caused great concern. I used to live in the Portland-Vancouver area so Burgerville was a hot spot for me. I used to eat here a lot due to the quality of the food, how many locations there were and the fact that there was one so close to where I was working. What I love about burgerville is its uniqueness. I love how the burgers have their own flare. The sauces they offer are also really unique and I always get a bunch anytime im here. My husband grew up coming here and absolutely raves about the burgers and sweet potato fries. He says this place is the best. I asked him what he would give for a rating and he said 4 stars, because he wishes they had sweet potato fries all year round and because it's so dang expensive. We went and got 2 kids chicken tender meals, a grilled chicken burger (no fries or drink), and a deluxe burger with fries (no drink), it was $26. They do have a 10% military discount though, which is really great, but that's pretty expensive for fast food. I know you're paying for quality, but dang. Everything tastes like it is of really good quality, it's all very fresh tasting. The grilled chicken burger, to me, was on par with Chick-fil-A and that's the only other "fast food" we will eat, so that's saying something. Our kids loved the tenders and fries, especially the fries. My husband says the burgers are super juicy and the way they put the chopped onions on the same side as the mayo makes it like a new kind of sauce. The lettuce is dark green but still crispy. Also, the burgerville sauce is amazing - it's like a mixture of mayo, mustard, and dill relish. My husband says everything is amazing, the milkshakes, their food, all of it, so it's definitely worth a try, we recommend it! read more

My family wanted burgers for dinner so we skipped another burger restaurant thinking Burgerville was the perfect place to go, we have never had a bad experience here and the food is always delicious. This experience left me disappointed to say the least. The food quality was still good unfortunately the service was subpar. Upon paying at the drive through window, I was under the impression my order cost was what I was told at the completion of my order. I had no reason to question the total until after my transaction was completed. After receiving my receipt, the total was 23 percent higher than what I was told and was expecting. I was not informed of the exorbitant tip that got added onto my bill without permission or my knowledge. I was listening to my kids in the back seat while simultaneously hitting the I agree button on the debit machine that was being held outside the window. I'm not mad at tipping however not having prior knowledge and not being informed they add 23 percent to a total is bad buisness and quite frankly seems fraudulent. Burgerville is the ONLY fast food my fiancé will eat. He's a healthy eating nut and appreciates that the food is locally sourced, all natural, and not super greasy like other on the go places. I love that it's delicious, the servers are always kind, and the seasonal items are always amazing. Also menu update: dairy free milkshakes?! Yes please. I wish they had locations further north but I'll settle for a trip through the drive through when passing through on my way south. Ohhhhh boy we had been really looking forward to eating here. When the drive thru line was wrapped around the building we thought "this place has to be amazing!". To my surprise he stopped half way and then said "this is not at all what I thought it would be!". He stated that burgers we had grilled at home were better. He ate a few fries and then put the rest back in the bag. When we finally arrived back at the park I started to eat my burger. Yikes!!! Just looking at the burger, I questioned the taste. The burger was grey! Like fast food burgers. The burger had ton of veggies and the bread was pretty solid. When I took my first bite I knew not to expect much. Sadly it was very flavorless. My son was right, burgers we made at home were better. I only took two more bites and had a few fries and gave up! We needed up throwing away most of the food. Sooo disappointed.
