THE CEO BURGER from BurgerFi in Jacksonville, Florida! Not Glenview, Illinois
    Nathaniel Angelo B.

I had high hopes for this one after I tried BurgerFi in Jacksonville, FL. I ordered The CEO Burger in Florida and it was AMAZING! When I tried The CEO Burger here in Glenview, IL. It didn't meet my expectations as it wasn't as good and flavorful as the one in Florida. If I were to rate the two I'd say the burger I had in Florida was a 10/10!! (See the photo below!!) On the other hand, the burger here in Illinois is a mid 5/10. The service was okay they were nice and there was no one else in the restaurant (I went there on a Monday) The ambiance of the place is reminds me of a budget Shake Shack. I didn't even take a picture of The CEO burger here in Glenview as it was disappointing to me but it wasn't bad but here's a picture of The CEO burger in Jacksonville! If you order The CEO burger here in Glenview feel free to use this picture as a baseline for comparison.

Huge portions. The service was quick to make all of the food fresh and to my table. This place feels like a solid spot for burgers and a shake. I had lunch here with my parents and between the 3 of us, shake, 3 regular fry's the bill was over $60. This is way too much for lunch.

Lots of families here enjoying lunch at this BurgerFi in Glenview. They say their Angus beef is free of steroids and hormones and they have multiple options to suit dietary programs. We enjoyed fresh-cut fries with truffle aioli sauce, the enormous onion rings (each the size of a hamburger bun) and junior burger, cheeseburger, hotdog, veggie burger and fried chicken sandwich. The buns are stamped with BurgerFi on them and are crisp and butter toasted. Burgers are tasty and well seasoned but mine was a little dry. The VegeFi burger with quinoa and veggies was pronounced really good. Vegan and Beyond Burgers are other choices available too. We enjoyed our meal as the ingredients are high quality and a step above fast food. The dining room could be better attended to as several tables were not cleaned and the mustard dispenser needed to be filled.

Let me just say that we drove 40 mins to try Burgerfi. I heard nothing but good things about it. The restaurant seemed clean and it had allot of natural light. The burgers were good, i felt like my burger needed more bbq sauce. I ordered the bbq rodeo burger after getting the recommendations from the cashier. The patties seem like they were frozen before hand. The onion rings you pay almost 6.50 for 5 pieces of onions. Don't get me wrong, they are huge. Just not sure if it's worth that price. The chicken tenders for the kids meal were very small. The kids meal is almost 11 bucks. Most places are in the 6 or 7 dollar range. The food was good, the place is just overpriced.

    Nasty TRADITIONAL GRILLED CHICKEN BOWL

We dined in and my Girlfriend's burger was cold with the cheese not even melted. My grilled chicken salad looked so sad. I added grilled onions to it and the onions were raw. Wish I could get a refund. Just go to Wendy's. Also the tables were sticky. If I could give zero stars I would.

My wallet hurts every time I visit this place, but my older daughter who seems to be in a continual growth spurt is on a cheeseburger kick and specifically requested a Burgerfi cheeseburger on her latest day off school with Mommy, and I couldn't say no. The kids' meals are $9.97 and come with a side (fries or a "natural snack", guessing applesauce?) and drink (Honest juice box or pop). The junior cheeseburger is pretty hefty in size, and the fries are greasy, nicely salted, slightly crisp, and sometimes, that's just what you need as a sidekick to your lunch. Mini Me and I shared the kids' meal portion of fries, and that was just right for us both. On this visit, I splurged and tried the CEO burger, which has a wagyu and brisket blend (two patties), aged Swiss, bacon jam, and truffle aioli. I was highly disappointed, not only bc I paid $13 when I would've been happier with 2 double butter burgers from Culver's for that price tag, but bc the flavors were bland all around. The meat didn't taste like anything, the 2 slices of cheese were bland, and I had to peel apart the patties to confirm I even got bacon jam or aioli on my burger. I didn't taste ANY truffle at all, which is a pretty bold flavor, and the jam just tasted like cheap bbq sauce. In the past, my family of 4 has come in for dinner, and it was almost $70 for all of us. Yikes. As one of their signs alludes to ("don't be like your food: cheap, fast, easy", or... another adjective I forgot) Burgerfi toots the premium horn, but it doesn't really come through in flavor. They now do serve alcohol, like beer, some hard seltzers, and maybe some wine, but on a previous visit, they couldn't serve it bc they hadn't renewed their alcohol license. Will only be back if Mini Me has an epic craving.

Was okay good flavors. Not sure why frys were lukewarm and burger was as well. I asked the girl behind the counter for hot frys and she just stared at me. I went and sat down well my burger was getting colder waiting for hot frys . She came over dropped it in the middle of the table and walked away . My boy friend thanked her, no response . Do I thanked her as she was walking away and she mumbled back, " your welcome . We split the wagyu brisket burger with hot sauce. It was good. The bill was about 25.00 . The service was good in the front but this girl was not having a good day. Frys we're enough for a family of five. Burger was filling and tasty . But boy are prices escalating for fast food.

DO NOT COME HERE! The promotional pictures are nothing like the actual food. I came here with my boyfriend and bought 2 bacon burgers a larger cheese fries and one soda... $37 for all of that!!! The quality of the patty is the same of my high schools free lunch burgers. The bacon was so flat and hard it was hard to swallow. The fries were alright nothing special about them but the cheese on them got cold quickly. The service was alright. Just wished they had the ketchup refilled and a clean area to get condiments. My boyfriend and I were so excited to try this place out for our date fantasizing on the gourmet burgers we'll have no matter the price, but at the end we left disappointed, dissatisfied, and still hungry. This place needs to work on their food quality before having ridiculous prices. In the meantime go to portillos you'll get better/more food for the same price point.

Pricy but very good. The fríes are large and delicious. I wish they had a more moderate size for a discount price. It wasn't busy so they brought out our order to the table. Very clean and amicable staff.

The best menu item here isn't the burgers, it's surprisingly the fries. Order your fries urban style. Trust me. It's so flavorful and amazing. Quick, fast, always clean. Love it here and will keep coming back.

On a weekday evening, as expected, the restaurant was not busy.  We were promptly seated at a 4-top table (2 × 2-top) against the right wall, with some other 2-tops on both sides.  Like many reviewers had mentioned, the venue was beautiful, modern and chic. There were 7 tables occupied, including us.  The music that they had was not too loud, just that customers' conversations were amplified by the box shape open dining area.  If we focused enough, we could hear every conversation if we wanted to.  This was obvious when a table of about 6 women got seated at a table near the front door, some of them laughed and talked very loudly.  My husband and I just found it funny and didn't let that bother us.  However, when the restaurant is filled on busier days, it might be a different story. Our server, Patrick, was very nice and attentive.  Since they did not list drinks on their menu except those with alcohol, I asked him about non-alcoholic drinks.  After a brief "discussion", he asked me to leave it to him to make me a drink with mango.  He came up with a beautiful drink that was good and refreshing, with some mango flavor.  It was Virgin Paloma on our receipt for $8, which was reasonable.  He was very polite and checked in on us several times at appropriate times during our dinner.  The pace of the dinner was good, we spent a total of an hour and 15 minutes in the restaurant. Patrick might be the only waiter serving all the tables that evening, though. I also ordered Grilled Octopus ($22) which was very good, tender and flavorful, but was a little too salty to my taste.  The small pita bread wedges were warm and fluffy with some crispy edges, the beet hummus was creamy, and everything was delicious and tasted fresh.  I generously shared 2 little bites of octopus with my husband and I finished the entire plate, it was so good!  My husband really liked his Spiked White Fish ($29) and I shared a bite of that too.  He also had a House Salad for $6, that was a very good value.  He enjoyed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc Crossing ($12) too.  We also shared an order of Crème Brulee ($8), that was creamy and cooked perfectly.  We ordered a takeout order of Rigatoni with Sausage ($23), that was a good portion, and was still delicious and al dente the next day after being microwaved. I am so happy that we found Social Inn - a hidden gem in Plaza del Prado, it's not far from home, with comfortable and beautiful ambiance, excellent service (from Patrick), an attractive menu with enticing food (fresh ingredients and appealing plating), and reasonable prices, we will definitely be back!

We were in the area late in the day and remembered Social Inn was open, so we went. We ordered a variety of items. I did order my burger medium and it was delivered well done, but it was still good. They also have one of the best gluten-free buns I've ever had. I do wish they were open at lunch time still, but I understand they need to be open for their busiest hours. Social Inn is a great option when you are in the Glenview area.

Our server Miriam was awesome with our orders, she came by to check on us and not too many times, and was there to help us with leftovers and leaving stuff. Tables, plates and silverware were clean, and one can still get around, even with one table behind us with a handicapped person, it didn't crowd up much at all - it was all very reasonably spacious. Definitely will come back here, though I do miss that older lady who was our server the last time before today, who was very nice - had a bit of an attitude to her personality but not too much to make it tasteless, some sass makes for an interesting day. The bathroom latches are way too high for a child to lock the door, but they do have a fold down changing table in the woman's restroom. (Not in the stall) They do have high chairs for toddlers. I actually need a chair to rest my leg on because I cannot bend my right knee. Our waitress was very nice about it... however a man came up to me and told me it was a fire hazard to have a chair in the aisle... so what about the kids high chairs? The chair was completely pushed under the table... so I had no choice but to put my foot up on the other side of the booth (which I was avoiding). A few "highlights" of our visit: Dishonesty: A server lied and said there was no kids' menu (which is clearly listed on their website) just to avoid a meal substitution. When I asked about ordering chicken tenders, the server told me they didn't have a kid's menu and were only making an "exception" for my daughter. I later found the full kids menu on their website. Instead of simply explaining an age policy, he chose to be dishonest and was visibly annoyed that I even asked. Being Ignored: It took 20 minutes and multiple people flagging down a server just to get one bottle of Coke. I asked the female waitress 3 times for the Coke and she repeatedly looked at me and ignored me. It took 20 minutes and 3 family members calling out to the server to get her attention. Disrespect: The hostess literally put her hand in my face when I politely asked for a to-go bag. I politely asked the hostess for a to-go bag, she actually put her hand in my face and told me to "hold on." When she finally returned, she mean mugs me and handed me the bag without a word even after I gave her an underserved thank you. If this were my party, I'd be demanding a refund. This place makes other local diners look like five-star establishments. Unbelievable and completely disappointing. Will never be returning.

This place was literally 2 minutes walk from my place and I've been wanting to try it for so long…read moreand I finally decided to but I was alone and I can only order so much and my eyes instantly went to the nachos so I did order their nachos and it was really good it wasn't saturated with cheese which I liked and I added chicken to it so it's one of the places where they have good nachos. I also did order their French onion soup which was my very first French onion soup and I liked it it was covered in cheese it was very tasty I wasn't expecting to like it just because of the name but I tried something new and I liked it. I did find out that they are closing from May 11th to the first week of June just because they are renovating the place however the food is going to stay the same and everything else is going to stay the same they're just going to renovate and update the place the service was amazing she took care of me I sat by the bar and unfortunately I wasn't able to get her name. Parking is an issue it's in the plaza so a lot of parking spots. I am definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu oh and they do have happy hour from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for a few of their appetizers and some drinks that is something to take a note of. Happy eating!

We love to sit at the bar during Happy Hour. The bartenders are always very attentive, friendly, and make great drinks. I have tried the Dirty Martini and a Manhattan and both have been great. We have also tried the Filet sliders, and they were juicy, tender and delish! At some point we will come for a meal, and I'll upgrade my review. :-) Give this place a try for a cozy atmosphere at the bar!
