Ordered the plant based burger, small regular fry and Coke Zero. Had a taste for it and all of it was good. Even the Coke Zero tasted right. Fries were fresh and crispy, perfect, and really liked this burger with Thr avocado slices on it. Very friendly service, who checked on us three times to see how we were doing. When my child and I come up to the Luries, we usually grab lunch at Epic. Reminds me of another burger place but better. The black angus beef is halal from Creekstome Farms, they use cage free eggs, and nitrate free bacon- and burgers and fries and made fresh to order. I like how they have organic Tractor products and maybe one day they'll carry their sodas. They also have chicken sandwiches, tenders, hot dogs, and salad The place is always clean and service is always friendly. My only complaint is- while they try to be a "healthier version" of fast food, with well sourced items- they carry ketchup with high fructose syrup. Which they would spend a little more and go organic or at least something without HFS. read more

This was a pretty busy location with many families dining in. We were in the area so we stopped for a quick bite. My companion ordered the Epic Fish burger which was super hot (temp) and they burned the roof of their mouth. However, they also ordered a gluten free bun and the staff person let them know that the fish was not gluten free if that was a concern. (It was not). I ordered the beyond burger. It was dressed up nice on a brioche bun and stacked high with lettuce, avocado, pickles, onion, tomato. It was pretty good although the texture of the beyond burger is not my favorite. It had nicely crisped edges and with all the toppings, it can be satisfying. The fries with crispy and textured and cooked just right -- it was hard to stop eating them. What fascinated me the most was the Heinz remix machine, which mixed up flavored sauces. I made a ketchup with garlic and chipotle. You can adjust the levels of intensity. My companion made a garlic jalapeño mayo. This was fun, like using those Coca Cola Freestyle machines. read more

It was our first visit since Epic Burger took over the former Meatheads location, and we were pleasantly surprised! The burgers and fries were fresh, flavorful, and high quality. After not eating burgers for a few years, I had been craving a really good burger for the past couple of months. I even tried Portillo's recently, but it didn't quite hit the spot. Epic Burger, however, absolutely delivered! Not only was the food delicious, but Miguel, the manager, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the experience even better. The restaurant still feels pretty new. We hosted a couple of birthday parties at Meatheads when our kids were younger because of the separate party room, and it's great to see that space is still available. It continues to look like an excellent place for family gatherings and celebrations. I was disappointed when Meatheads closed, but I'm so glad Epic Burger moved in. i ordered a turkey burger, it was kind of bland, it needed seasonings, salt or ketchup or some sort of sauce other than mayo. my friend got a regular burger with beef and said his was meh too and overpriced for the size. (he's a burger aficionado). we loved the loaded fries though! the fries tasted more flavorful than the burgers, the texture was on point too, soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside and thick but not too thick and not too salty or bland. the meal tasted wholesome in general and not the worst but not epic. i would come back for the fries only, for comfort food, it's not a large portion like at a fancier place like a nice pub, it's just a fast food side dish size, it's also kinda pricey but oh well i guess lol kinda worth it read more

I'd give this place a solid 4 stars. The food is always really good, and I come here pretty often on my lunch breaks since it's right next to the Lowe's I work at, which makes it super convenient. The restaurant is very clean--I always notice the staff staying on top of cleaning, which I definitely appreciate. The atmosphere is great too, nice chill vibes overall. The cashier working when I went was also really friendly (and yeah, cute too lol). The only downside is it's a little on the pricey side, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. We catered a meal in house in their small private space. It was very convenient and the staff was so accommodating and did a great job with everything we needed. I called ahead a few days asking if they would do something catered in house and they were more than willing to do so. I spoke with Jeff on the phone and he sent me their catering menus, of which I chose the Burger Bar option along with ordering trays of french fries that fed 10 people each. We also added in cookies and fountain drinks for those that wanted it. I was directed to Miguel for the day or in restaurant. I had told them we would arrive at 6pm and they were a little tight on time as when 6pm arrived it seemed like everyone else wanted to eat at Epic Burger at the same time. But they were able to get our orders out and we were eating by 6:30pm. I was even able to add on some additional burgers for some last minute attendees. At the restaurant Miguel was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We had an individual with allergies so they were able to prepare that burger separately from the rest. The burger bar had plates set up and everything else you could need in toppings for your burger, sautéed onions, raw onions, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese slices, pickles, ketchup and mustard and even a full container of the special Epic sauce. Overall a good experience doing in house catering with Epic Burger. I will definitely be bringing a group back. Everyone left full and happy! read more

Trying this for the first time tonight. Same as Skokie. Meatheads sadly went out of business. But this is good too. They even have sweet potato fries and a whole wheat bun if you are interested in healthier options. It's a little expensive. But most eating out is these days. Even McDonalds is no longer affordable. Disappointed Long-Time Customer - Dishonest Promotion Practices: Our family has been loyal customers of Epic Burger in Glenview for years because we truly appreciate the quality of their food. However, a recent experience with a deceptive promotion and poor customer service has completely broken our trust, and we will not be returning.Epic Burger running a "stop the timer at exactly 10 seconds" challenge to earn $10 Epic Dollars sounded like a fun, engaging idea for guests. My 11-year-old son was thrilled to try it. On his fourth attempt, he hit the 10-second mark perfectly. Excitedly, he shared his achievement with the cashier.Instead of honoring the promotion, the employee asked him how many tries it took. When my son honestly replied that it was his fourth attempt, the cashier arbitrarily claimed he needed to hit it within the first two tries to qualify.I carefully checked the promotional posting, and there was absolutely no mention of a two-try limit. Moving the goalposts and inventing hidden rules after a child wins a challenge is incredibly cheap and dishonest.In the restaurant industry, momentum and customer loyalty are everything. It only takes one dishonest customer service experience to lose a family's business for good. It is a shame that Epic Burger would choose to pull a scam over $10 rather than keep a long-term customer. My review is for the location in Northbrook IL. My Hubby & I were going to eat at a nearby Potbelly, but due to the lack of their employees not showing up, they were only taking on-line orders & we could not sit in & eat. So, we seen Epic Burger. I always wanted to try this. We had mini burgers & they were very good. I was not a huge fan of the fries as they are just ok. But next time we eat here I will have to see if they have onion rings. The nice man who took our order was maybe the manager & he was super nice! Very kind with a upbeat personality. We could tell he enjoyed his job & dealing with customers. He was very helpful & even went to get my Hubby a glass of water. The inside is very cool. Cute too. Comfy & I love when there is ketchup etc. on the table & you don't have to beg for it! Very clean inside & cheerful. Next time we will look into what else they have at this fantastic place to eat at. read more

But their signage says open until 9pm and it takes them usually only 10min max to make the food. There were people eating inside. I was very pleased with the Cowboy. Considering I normally hate pickles on a burger and pick them off, Epic truly surprised me and hit it out of the park. Great job. Love the recipe, just fantastic. However, I am disappointed in the ambiguity with just a product name and picture on the flat panel ordering screens. People need to know what's in something to make a buying decision. The only reason I bought the Cowboy was when I was last here I went online to go read what it was. Most folks won't bother. It has bacon, but some folks won't eat that. As a businessman, "effective communication" is everything and "constant follow thru" is quality and profit control. I would suggest the following: 1. Without cramming it in, update the menu display screens. 2. Have a couple laminated ingredient menu at the cashier so people know what's in the offerings. 3. Have a small printed menu stack at the register. 4. Use the pinch ring holder on each table to cleanly display the same details so people leave informed and order more. Same photos, add the descriptions. 5. Have a CR Barcode linking the patron to your Web site and get to the point immediately - show food and ingredients. Simple remote ordering without having to log into an different site manually (click). 6. Promote business office lunch orders. Call it "Order for the Office" and optimize all of this as an online offering. I was at the Northbrook store. The tabletops and chairs need to be "cleaned", not just a wipe rag. Find a spray or something from food service for this and set a standard. My chair had the top a bit sticky. That can not continue. The Northshore has very high standards. Don't let cleaning cost your any customers or bad reviews. Let's be clear, I want EPIC to be very successful. Cheers folks! read more

Hello, to whom it may suit you. I have been going to this location since 2014. It was called Meat heads, I loved Meat heads. Meat heads was the best burger I had as a quick burger and fresh. Now it's epic burger, which has been at west field mall for a couple of years. Epic bought meat heads and instead of taking what meat heads had they destroy it. If it was me I would have bought their menu. Epic is just very salty, the fries are just way too much. The patty just feels greasy and like you are chewing on rubber. Not enough sauce, not enough feeling in there food. It's just a messy nasty burger, I really don't know how they won burger of the year in 2021! So if you want to make epic better go get the menu for meat heads and I promise you epic will be much better!!! But until then don't way 16 dollars on 3 patty's that doesn't taste good. The grilled unions just take wet and the ranch is not even ranch it's watered down ranch. So if you go there to waste money on your self go for it but if you want a better burger make it at home because this place needs to run out of business to relieve that they suck! Good luck! read more
