Ok, really cute place. Like the dog bowl idea which makes it unique. I'm sure also being dog friendly is great. Ordered a Mac and cheese for my little and an Italian sausage for myself. The Italian sausage is a good size. So definitely worth it. The Mac and cheese was okay. Didn't think it was special but appreciate the option for the little one. Like it's a casual quick food spot. The theme and decor is fun. No complaints on service. They were nice!

We had such a fun experience at Dawg Park! The dog-themed atmosphere makes the whole place feel playful and unique. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and their kindness really stood out during our visit. Everything is made fresh to order and brought right to your table, which I really appreciated. The ornate milkshakes were a highlight!!!!!They're both beautiful and delicious. Overall, the great food, creative theme, and welcoming staff made this a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be coming back!

Dawg Park is the cutest place, not only because it's made like a mock dog park, but also because you can bring your furry friends in with you! ANDDD, the food are served atop cute doggie bowls! There are two locations- Glenview and South Barrington and at both locations you can get their creative hot dogs, burgers, rice bowls, shakes and much more - along with VEGETARIAN options/substitutes as well! What I tried : Ninja dog, veggie, no bacon - Loved this! Garlic cheese fries - something about that cheesy garlic made the fries magical lol Bbq dawg, veggie, no bacon - very tasty Hot garlic bowl - super filling Spicy basil vegetarian burger - very creative and lots of flavors that compliment each other well Coconut pineapple shake - I can drink this all day Round up your family, fur babies included, and stop at either location for a hearty meal.

This is a cute, dog themed hotdog and burger restaurant. They have a fairly large menu of unique hotdog creations that can also be made as a burger or bowl (with rice or diced potato). They also have apps and shakes. The staff (owner possibly?) was super kind and friendly. The pricing here is a bit high, with most hotdogs around $9 and does not include any sides. Milkshakes are also $9. The restaurant was clean, but also pretty empty. There is a play area as well, and some unique seating. The food is served in dog bowls, which may be cute or off-putting depending on how into the theme you are. One of the staff (owner possibly?) had a crying baby on a zoom call, and the volume was turned up so loud you could hear it across the restaurant. This went on for quite some time (10 minutes at least). I get being a parent, but I'm not sure why he didn't just turn it down a bit so it wouldn't bother everyone in the restaurant. The food portions are pretty good. They still don't quite justify the price in my opinion, but you almost certainly won't need more than one of these hotdogs. The ingredient quality is excellent. I am especially a fan of the split top buns they use for the hotdogs, similar to what you would get a lobster roll on or something similar. They use jumbo Vienna Beef hotdogs (the best brand). The combinations however, fall a bit flat for me. I asked several people who had been here as well, and they also felt the combinations were not very cohesive and balanced. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, but not something I would go out of my way to eat again. I think if their flavor combinations were better, or their prices lower, this might be a more compelling offering, but as it stands, it perfectly fits Yelp!'s definition of 3 stars, "OK".

Arf arf! The TLDR (too long, don't read) version is they have gourmet milkshakes that look Instagram worthy but leave a bit to be desired on flavor and value. Average burgers, dogs, and sides. The longer version is this is a unique stop for comfort food like burgers, fries, bowls, and other sandwiches. There's something on the menu for everyone, though I would say the avocado and bacon cheeseburger and teriyaki grilled chicken sandwich I tried here in the past couple months tasted a bit mediocre. Prices were a bit steep for the quality of food. The fries are overly salty. Milkshakes look appealing but lack in flavor delivery, esp since they're $10 a pop. Cute that the meals are served in actual dog bowls. There's also a kiddie corner with some jumbo blocks and huge Connect 4 set.

The nuggets are solid. Loved the teriyaki ranch bowl and yes it's worth getting an order of regular fries and sweet potato fries. 5 stars for service and ambiance. 4.5 on the food Went with my two boys and the gentleman was so patient with us. Thank you!

We came here with the grand-darlings and their mom for an elementary school fundraiser.  It's a fun kind of place for the kiddos and for families that might want to bring their dog(s) in with them, as they are welcome.  There were no dogs here tonight though and it was a dinner crowd of mostly school families.  You order at a touch screen and  it takes a little time to complete an order as you are prompted for sandwich and hot dog optional adders and such.  They could probably use another touch pad as there was only one and we fortunately beat a crowd that came behind us.  There were two staffers on duty and they were kept pretty busy. Our party of 5 had: - Smoky BBQ burger, $11.99 (mine) - California BLTA burger, $11.99 - Lemongrass grilled chicken sandwich, $11.99 - Kids' mac n cheese, $5.99 - Plain dawg, $5.99 - A couple orders of fries, $2.99 each. The food total was $58.09 and it was ok tasting but nothing to write home about.  The burgers were tall and messy and the fries were over-salty.  They do offer a pretty good variety of flavors for their dawgs and burgers.   We also later ordered an oreo shake and a chocolate mousse shake for dessert.  These were $8.99 a piece and while refreshing and not overly sweet, they were also watered down.  It also took quite a while to get these (about 30 minutes) after ordering as there were 5 labor-intensive shakes ordered ahead of ours. OK and fun to try once for the novelty of the place, but it's a one and done for us (unless the kiddos insist that is!).

I was the recipient of a $5 off coupon for my birthday. I took myself to lunch. I visit this place before but every time I come, the staff is amazing, food is great. Your food is served in a dog bowl. Yes, it is! So much fun. Servings are huge so you won't walk away feeling hungry. They allow dogs in the restaurant and even have a separate menu for the pets. I think any restaurant is great when they serve deep fried pickles! The decor is simple but really cute with lots of dogs. Just a fun place to eat.

    Sally L.

This is a cute restaurant where dogs are allowed inside. All the food are served inside a dog bowl which is a cool concept. We ordered the lemongrass grilled chicken sandwich, crazy curry chicken sandwich, and the spicy basil burger. The sandwiches and the burger were juicy and flavorful. We also got the garlic cheese fries which was pretty good. I think they have rice and chicken for your pet to eat. But I am not sure how much it is since it wasn't on the menu. We saw other customers getting it for their pets. If I come back next time, I would try their shake.

As soon as I found a dog friendly restaurant with a Frenchie in the logo, I knew I had to bring mine to check it out! There are a lot of options on the menu, and I was excited to try the Asian inspired items. There was something for everyone to enjoy - even the kids and pups. They serve the food in the dog bowls, which is hilarious. They are also very nice to offer a disposable bowl so we can give some water to our dog. In the back corner, they have giant jenga style blocks and giant Connect 4 games, which kept my kids entertained for a while. I didn't learn until I was leaving that you can also order food for your dog - a bowl of white rice with chicken or another protein. It's rare that I find a restaurant where everyone enjoys the food, so we will definitely be going back ASAP.

    Len L.

I feel like a dog in Dawg Park as they serve your food in a large shiny dog bowl. Yes they do, as I was surprised. I ordered the Smokey BBQ burger which is exactly what it sounds like, a BBQ burger served in a dog bowl. Burger was very juicy as I had a hard time keeping the burger in one spot after taking a bite. Overall, you can't make a mistake with any burger as the food is done right with great service. They give you a number tent and will call out the number when your food is ready. Cost per order is around $10 and you get plenty of value. I will definitely come back for more.

    Order confirmation

I am giving 2 stars as the food seemed like if it was fresh would have been good. Yesterday my wife put in an order through thei website at 7:30 pm and scheduled a 8:40 pm pickup as I would be close by and could get it right after work and their hours said to 9pm Before leaving work I got a phone call I couldn't answer. Once out I checked the message. Somehow my pickup time got changed to 8:35 and the message started "are you going to pick up your order, the tablet says pick up at 8:35 it's 8:33, so are you going to come pick up your order because we are going to close right now" I called back and let them know I was 6 minutes away, however I should not be getting a call minutes before I'm scheduled to pick up the order. I take it 20 minutes home and immediately notice it is very cold. More than the time it took to pick up and take home cold. As now they were closed I waited til a few minutes ago to call and complain. I got the same employee who left the message who let me know they make the food when it comes in on the tablet, so my food had just sat there for over a hour, and all they could do was say sorry.

If you're looking for a fun place to bring the kids this is a great place. The menu has something for everyone from appetizers to burger, hotdogs to milkshakes. There are games plus indoor turf so it's like you're outdoors but really you're inside. I had the fried pickles that tasted just like I expected. My daughter had a buffalo chicken bowl that was good and served in a dog bowl. That was fun! We both had milkshakes and they were good, presentation was over the top. It's pretty pricey for what it is (I paid $43 for 2 shakes, fried pickles and the bowl). However, it was a fun experience so...

Any gluten free options for buns?

Unfortunately, we do not have gluten free buns, but you can substitute the bun for a lettuce wrap or bed of lettuce.

Do you offer a dog menu as well?

Yes, we offer Just For Dogs bowls where you can choose between unseasoned grilled chicken or beef patty over white rice.

Can I bring my dog inside and eat with him?

    Yes

    Do they serve beyond burgers?

Yes we do. Any of our burgers can be made with a Beyond Meat patty. We also offer vegetarian hot dogs from Tofurky, which can be substituted in any of our dawgs, including the tempura-battered Ninja Dawg. Hope this helps.

Really nice bar with a few TVs for sporting events -- but I wouldn't' call it a sports bar. Friendly local crowd and attentive bartenders. Menu is an interesting one, with some large and delicious apps. Along the way and through a couple of visits I've enjoyed literally everything I've had there. From the app menu, props for the eggplant stack (unique presentation), the hummus trio, and the octopus -- all of which were solid, all of which were enough to be an entree. The entrees are a range of sandwiches (predictable and good), pastas (loved the mushroom pappardelle), chicken (ok, haven't tried them yet -- can get chicken entrees anywhere!), steaks/chops (the pork chop is excellent as is the skirt steak), and seafood (bravo for the swordfish -- which I don't see around these parts much, and the seafood platter). Service was a little spotty at the tables, but that was at an early visit and perhaps it's been worked out; bar service truly outstanding. Glenview is becoming a more competitive restaurant market with several new entrants (although many of them in the old downtown); hoping this family-owned/operated place succeeds the way it deserves to!.

We first sat down for a meal, and coming on a early weeknight it was not that busy at all when we arrived. They had a happy hour deals for $6 of four different kinds of shareables. We tried all four. The loaded tots, Nashville hot chicken baos, onion dip with chips and southwest quesadillas. Our favorites were the loaded tots and onion dip. The loaded tots had a decent amount of small strips of bacon and was covered with a white and cheddar queso. Very good and tasty and the right amount of toppings on it. The onion dip was good too, the dip came in what looked like a smaller sauce side but there was plenty, we had leftover dip after finishing the chips. The bao were decent sized, came in a set of 2 and wasn't overly spicy. The least favorite was the quesadillas, just not much to the flavor and filling. After eating we played a 9 hole round of putt putt. The holes are fun and interactive. You pay for the round at the kiosks and then get your ball at the start of the course. Each hole is digitized and shots are auto calculated for a score. It was a fun way to play putt putt.

The restaurant inside is convenient and our server was great. The woman working inside the kitchen was also extremely sweet to our son. My husband ordered the burger and said it was great. I had the hot chicken sandwich and it was very dry. Prices were reasonable so I'd say this lands in the "fine" range. There are four courses of nine holes each - ruby, emerald, sapphire, and amber. Some holes do repeat across all courses, which seemed odd. The designs were fun for both adults and kids. We definitely had a great time on the two courses we did. It did get a bit congested at one point, and they were not very busy. For whatever reason 90% of the groups were on two adjacent courses while the other two courses had one group between them. The distribution was not the best. There are also these numbered posts at the front of each hole to let you know which hole you're at. The problem is they are directly in the way of your swing. It's a strange design. The ball automatically keeps track of your strokes. This was pretty cool and we all had a great time with it. However, the voiceover that tallies your strokes at the end is very sarcastic and pokes fun at you if you go over. This is funny for adults but discouraging for kids. My son was having fun and then heard the voiceover and asked if he did a bad job. It would be great to have the option to play without the voiceover if you're playing with kids. My husband and I just kind of cheered over it to keep our kid distracted. We had a lot of fun and found it reasonably priced ($52 for three of us to play two 9 hole courses). We will definitely go again.
