Has to be one of my favorites if not my favorite fast food chains. Love the butter burger, especially the toasted buns. All the sides are great but especially the cheese curds. I mean you really can't go wrong with fried cheese. Jeremy C is a big fan of their buffalo tenders when they have them. And their fish sandwich is also one of the better ones I've had. They also have a much better quality dessert in the form of frozen custard compared to other fast food chains. Quality is great, definitely a place that I crave often! read more

While their food items Arte always fresh and tasty, their order communication & service really SUCKS! Today, I ordered their Walleye sandwich dinner with sa side of their green pepper soup and med (sugar-free) ice tea. This was order ID: AAA6PNP9QBD. (And I'm holding this receipt here.) When I arrived there to pick up my order, there was No soup included with it, and I was then told that green pepper soup was unavailable there, So I agreed to subbing chili for it instead then. When I arrived home with my order, I then discovered that there was NO iced tea included with it either!! To say the least, I was and still am Pissed Off over this experience! And this was NOT the first time they screwed up my order and or failed to tell me that something I'd ordered online wasn't available there as well then! Ok so I've been hearing commercials up the wazzu about Culver's thick cut bacon & I've been dying to check it out since bacon is MY FAVORITE FOOD. I've been craving bacon on their double bacon cheddar burger. While I love Culver's Burgers as one of the better mid priced burgers I felt like the bacon was far from a thick cut bacon that I'm accustomed to. TERRIBLE SERVICE! everyone looked like they were on drugs and gave such a STANK attitude. specifically the asian girl with glasses and a pony tail looked like she hated working there, find a new job. no communication with the customers at all and just gave us the rudest look giving us the food and preparing with NO gloves. love culver's, hated this location and i never give reviews on fast food places but omg get a new job if you hated scooping ice cream that much. read more

Went here for dinner and decided to pick up our food via drive thru and the food is always consistent. My daughter loves the chicken tenders so we go with the kids meal. Just a quick tip, make sure you check the bag on the kids meal because it has a coupon for a free frozen custard visit. The service is also pretty consistent. Orders are consistently cold though the sign in the drive through says "we cook to order". It's not complicated to make a burger. Omitting an ingredient shouldn't cause the whole assembly line to collapse. When I pay for an order and I'm clearly waiting for my food to be cooked only to get home and realize that something is missing from my order or the food is cold (it's a 2 minute drive) that's an issue. And most importantly when a customer brings a food item back that was made incorrectly or just not even edible, the customary thing to do is make them a fresh one with no questions. My incorrectly made burger was showcased to the staff and management as if it needed clearance from the government to make a new one. No apology, nothing. Train your staff properly, many of whom are immature young people. I've been coming to this location for years, which now appears to be under new management, yet all the problems are still the same and or getting worse. Do better. read more

I decided to treat myself to some custard. I went inside the restaurant to get it. I asked for a cup of the flavor of a day. Then I asked if I could have a cup for water. I couldn't believe the size of the cup of custard. I couldn't help but think that had II gotten the cone I would've gotten much more. Besides not much ice cream, there was barely any caramel or chocolate. The glass they give you for water has maybe two gulps of water in it. Shame on you Culver's. read more

Though we're a constant customer of Culver's in Morton Grove, our food order is mainly drivethrough. If my review was only for the drive though, I'd provide a 4 rating. However, for dine in my personal opinion is managment should pay more attention to the tidiness of the drink and table area, due the fact during our last visit, quite few tables were not wiped down, felt sticky and the beverage refill area was messy. read more

Hmm, looks like I haven't had much to say about Culver's over the years but I can say I've been pretty happy about their products most of the time. And most of the time, if I'm having a sandwich at a Culver's, it's a delicious butter burger. But I deviated today and tried their pork tenderloin sandwich ($5.89). Sad to say, but this one was pretty average, on the dry and bland side, and cafeteria-like. It was likely sitting around a bit under a lamp. Anyway, the re-learning for here and many other places as well is - stick to their bread and butter, their butter burger that is. read more

I had a taste for a hamburger the bottom of the bun was cold along with cheese and bacon. On my way out I just wanted to let them know. The manager however said where is it and show me the receipt. I said I ate it. She didn't even apologize which is the only thing I wanted. I think I'll stop going there as they were rude at 27.00 for my husband and I apologize would have been appropriate from the management. This was our go to fast food place, but no more. For fast food it's fine. The people behind the counter have always treated us well. But Sunday evening we went to sit down and there were three men taking up the center of the restaurant. The manager was standing over them. They were having a loud political discussion that made my daughter and I feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. When we were leaving we mentioned this to the manager and we were told that they own the restaurant and they could do what they want. They said that we shouldn't have been eavesdropping. Another patron told them that their decibel level was so high that they could be heard throughout the restaurant. We told them that as long as they felt that we, as the customer didn't matter, along with their employees, we would never be back. They said that was fine with them. Your burgers are awesome as are your onion rings and fries. The fresh veggies, the flavor in the beef patties and bun make it very similar if not better than In and Out's burgers. The free ice cream after participating in the survey is a great treat as well. Where your team excels, and I've experienced this at your Libertyville, Des Plaines, Morton Grove, Wisconsin Dells, locations is your customer service. The friendly greeting, the delivery of the food, the atmosphere, the uniforms, the bright and cheery counter. I have to congratulate the person who had the vision to put all this together. Today as we were turning right into there parking lot, a white old Toyota cut us when the driver turn left (not his right of way). Only my second time at Culvers was surprisingly impressed. The place was packed inside, and the drive through at this location is a little confusing but pleasant. I don't want to know why its called a butterburger, but I must say it is pretty juicy. Pass on the fries, get the cheese curds, and since I'm lactose intolerant can't say anything about the shakes. (I can eat cheese, but not ice cream fyi) Overall Culvers is a nice switch of pace burger spot with alot of different options. read more

I've never had their hot food, but I have to admit that sneaking into the drive-through for a cone every once in a while is a guilty pleasure. Three days a week my commute passes by here, and occasionally my mood, the circumstances, and the flavor of the day fall into perfect alignment. The electronic marquee is the trigger; I wouldn't go out of my way to find out the flavor ahead of time, but since they put it right out there...sometimes I just can't resist the impulse to stop. Usually it's nothing that would entice me, but every so often it might go like this: "Mint avalanche? Hoo boy!" or "Boston cream? Fuckin' A!" (I mean, come on--a doughnut blended into frozen custard? It's as if they know me.) Yesterday it was: "Chocolate Hershey almond? Count me in!" I haven't yet had the same flavor twice, and I'm almost always satisfied. Sometimes I feel that the special elements of a given variety (e.g. candy pieces, brownie chunks) are sparse. But overall the custard is pretty good. Also, the drive-through is key, because on those three days I have my baby daughter in the backseat. I wouldn't bother to stop if I had to get us both out of the car; but with the drive-through my detour typically costs only three to five minutes. A small cone is $2.66 with tax...and usually I have exact change. The staff are a lot nicer than I ever was during the two summers that I worked a Dairy Queen drive-through back in the day. Our household receives Culver's coupons in the mail all the time, always the same ones. So sooner or later I might try a shake ($1 off) or a concrete (buy one, get one free). But for now I'm content with my rare single-scoop flavor of the day cones. read more

I was pretty excited to find out that a Culver's came to MG, as I'd only been to their WI location. This ButterBurgers chain has been around since' 84, and besides their famous burgers, they have salads, soups, fried chicken, and frozen custard. I had the Culver's Bacon Deluxe, which came with 2 beef patties, two strips of bacon, WI cheese (woot woot!), lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, red onion, and their signature mayo, all on a lightly buttered & toasted bun. The burger itself was quite juicy, but I remember it being a bit more buttery. In all honesty, the main reason why I go to Culver's is for their WI Cheese Curds - made with un-aged yellow and white WI cheddar, these little nuggets are deep-fried golden brown; think of mozzarella sticks, but being oh-so-much better and in nugget/bite-sized form! They are super crispy, and comes with either ranch or marinara (I opt for the ranch). You can do dine-in or do their drive-thru; the staff are super friendly and make sure that your orders are correct. Since items are made fresh-to-order, they'll give you a number where you just pull up to one of their 'waiting' spots, and one of the employees will come out and deliver your food to you. +WI Cheese Curds :D +made fresh-to-order read more
