I went with high expectations to burgerfi but was frankly disappointed. We had the spicy wagyu and the bbq rodeo burger with onion rings. I think I got mislead by the menu picture and honestly I was disappointed as soon the food was placed in front of me. The wagyu burger was not spicy enough, the charred jalapeño was like 2 slices, which I had to search for. Wanted the blue moon beer which was not available. I will give one more visit for burgerfi to redeem itself. read more

I hadn't had BurgerFi in a really long time because I remember the price point was pretty steep. However, I was on a lunch break. I needed something close to my work, and this was calling my name. Although the price point is really steep, I actually had a great experience eating their food. I got the bacon double cheeseburger and I mean how can you mess up a bacon double cheeseburger? It was pretty phenomenal and hit the spot. I also got their truffle fries which never fail. I could go back and eat just are truffle fries as an entire meal. They are very filling. I will try not to spend every work break coming here but no promises. read more

To know is to understand that I love a good burger and fries. I went to this place for the first time, and the burger and fries weren't good. The burger was subpar, and the fries were cold. The group I was with had fries that were fresher, but they still weren't good. I ended up throwing away over half my food. What a very bad experience for me. read more

The burgers were meh. Our shakes didn't arrive until way after we had finished our burgers. But they were tasty. Onion rings were decent.

Ran in to grab some lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Burger was very good, nice toppings and bun to burger ratio. Onion rings are tasty! Good menu for kids too. read more

Been here 3 or 4 times now, and although the food is all right, I always end up feeling like it's not worth $20, which is what you will spend on a burger and fries for one person here. Normally I don't comment on the value of a meal if the food is good enough, but it's just way too expensive for an average quality burger and fries that are usually soggy. They also forgot the sauce twice out of the 4 times I've been here, which is disappointing since each 2-ounce (59 mL) sauce cup is $1.50. I think most people would compare this place to Five Guys, which is honestly superior in most aspects. read more

We've been here twice. It's not my favorite of these kinds of burger places. The food is just ok and not really worth the piece. The buns are a little stale and the burgers lack flavor. Fries look over cooked but were decently tasty. Some were cooked better than others. One was pretty undercooked and that was when I tapped out on eating the fries. Could be that it's time to change the oil? My son said the ketchup tasted like pasta sauce. I also don't understand this new tip culture that has come about since COVID. I love to tip when it's a tippable service, but when I'm ordering at the counter and cleaning up my table... why am I tipping someone? Just pay your employees a livable wage. If I'm paying $10 for a mediocre burger and I'm cleaning it up and don't have someone coming to my table for my order or to check on me... there is no reason for a tip. read more

The food was okay. Overall, a solid burger place for a quick bite to eat. Their urban flavoring on their fries are really good and the service was quick a pleasant. You order and pay on a machine and you can easily sit and eat. It's a modern vibe with bright lights and overall, a good place to hangout with people in. read more

Super yummy and friendly service . Easy parking and Will definitely come back. . Highly recommended

My entire order was wrong. Ordered a burger with Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, katchup, and mayonnaise with a side of fries and cheese sauce. All I got was a burger on a bun with none of those toppings added and no cheese sauce for my fries. Update: no response from them after asking me to email them. read more

I visited BurgerFi in Rio (Gaithersburg, MD) last week and I was not super impressed. I got the chicken tenders and a side of fries. Overall, the food was okay for me but I do not think I will be going back soon because it was very expensive for me as one person. To get a sauce with the fries was an additional charge. I believe I paid almost $13.00 for 3 tenders and regular fries with a side of garlic aioli. read more

I got the veggie five burger and my friend got the BurgerFi burger mine was really good the packaging is really nice unfortunately her food came out cold and she said that the burger was kind of dry. It took about 15 minutes for us to get our food, but that's understandable since they were having a grand opening and the place was absolutely packed. The stuff was super nice we came with our emotional support animal and they offered him a cup of ice cream read more

So I met up with my homie who was having a bike night. Never heard about BurgerFi, before so I wanted to obviously grab a burger. I got the BurgerFi burger with cheese and I have to say I was shocked at how good this burger was. You're probably thinking it's just a burger, and you can't really screw this up. False. I've been to other places and have been let down and unimpressed. First off the burger was super tender and cooked to perfection. I didn't over do it and just wanted the burger how they offered it. I did add cheese cause why the heck not. Sidebar have you ever been so stuffed and had the Itis and want to sleep after consumption?? I have. Not here though.. the patty's were cooked perfectly and it didn't leave me wanting to fall asleep after. I strongly suggest you pull up to BurgerFi especially in the RIO Gaithersburg area. Staff was very friendly, order came out in just the right time so it wasn't rushed to meet demand. I hate to mess with perfection. I'd like you all to consider hitting up BurgerFi and trying it for yourself. I don't think you'll be disappointed at all. The menu was packed with other options if you're not in the mood for a burger so that's always good. I am giving this place 5 stars because it really blew me away with flavor and great service. read more

This place is just kind of mid nothing too amazing but nothing especially bad. It was around 16 dollars for a meal so a burger fries and drink. The fries weren't amazing kinda soft and I prefer at least a little crunch. I like how they do the branding on the burger bun it's a nice touch. The burger itself was alright they had a good amount of pickles on it but it wasn't very crispy. read more

My fiancé and I were served a burger on a moldy bun after waiting 40 minutes because our kiosk order never showed up on their screens in the kitchen. No manager on duty to speak with to potentially receive any kind of refund. He left review and the business owner replied telling him to email so it could be sorted out, and he never even got a response back. $32 wasted on cold mediocre burgers (waited another 15 minutes just for our old burgers to be placed on new buns), soggy fries, and oily onion rings. Drive a little further to the pike and rose location for better service and taste. read more

Food was great(especially their fries). Their staff was slightly slow, but they were all fairly relaxed. They had some TVs and a nice touch to the good food. WOULD RECOMMEND! read more

We ordered takeout on Mother's Day after a productive morning, taking care of mom's Mother's Day wish list around the house. I hadn't eaten from there and mom was interested since its a new place nearby. The pictures on the online menu looked rather amazing. I supposed this solidified that food never looks like it does in pictures. Anyway, so we ordered online...the user interface seems pretty straight forward and easy to modify menu items. We ordered three burgers; two were ordered identical, with the sauces on the side, we ordered the family onion rings and fries combo, thinking they would be enough to share. Despite our order being ready by pickup time. Prices are a bit higher that other FF burger joint and to top it off, they didn't follow the special instructions. Burgers were still good even without the sauces. Bacon Cheese Burgers read more

Unfortunately, the service and the food quality has dramatically worsened I was there at lunch time on June 27, The cashier had significant language challenges. He got my order wrong my colleagues and the two people behind us were all wrong, Everybody was given the same thing tho we ordered different things. The person who brought the drinks to the table couln't speak English at all and didn't understand that we paid for drinks, We tried to ask them to refill the ketcup container both the cashier and the server gave us a blank look they clearly didn't know what we were saying.. As for the food the french-fries were poorly done and the beef was then flat and tough Just don't bother, Word to the manager Your staff need to be able to comunicate well enough to interact with customers read more

Food was cold and when I wanted my food to be warmer the waiter was rude and insulting and the kitchen staff mocked me by saying "cold" in a racist way. Service took way too long. NEVER EAT AT THIS PLACE. read more

The burgers taste were acceptable even though they are kind of on the small side. The atmosphere and the seating are typical of a burger joint. But the employees at the grill need to pay more attention to the orders because the burger we ordered has no cheese on it, even though we paid that extra $1 for it. We also asked for onions, but no onions... It was a takeout so we didn't realize it until we got home and starring at that bare slap of burger meat in between 2 bare buns, wasn't a pleasant experience. If you go there for takeout make sure you open every packaging and check your food! Because the cook back there just doesn't give a sh*t. read more

I don't usually do reviews but I had a absolutely horrible experience I will never eat here again . I waited 15 minutes for the Texas chilli dog and they gave me a little side of chilli and cheese and called it my chili dog absolutely unacceptable and it was 6-7 dollars .. I have no problem waiting for food but this is not what I would've waited for had I known this is what I was paying for . read more

Ok burgers and literally the worst fries I've ever had. If you're going to charge $9 for "family size" fries at least make it actual fries. They were completely soggy and unsalted. The burgers were also not great. I specifically asked for no cheese and ended up with a burger with cheese. It was incredibly heavy. The quality was just ok, not even that good. I would rather eat fast food instead of getting this quality at this price point. read more

It was my first time coming here over the weekend and I will definitely be back soon for some more burgers. They just opened and they were busy but the customer service was outstanding. This restaurant easily just became my favorite fast food place! I ordered a classic chicken sandwich, and it tasted great! Doesn't taste rushed or greasy. It tastes like real food! My family and I shared a cheap order of Family Fries, and we all enjoyed our meals. The family fries were HUGE and for only eightish dollars! They weren't super greasy, either. Crispy and cooked just right. 10/10, would recommend. read more

There are just too many burger options in this area to just be OK at this point. I ordered this last week and was pretty underwhelmed. The bread was sort of stale, the cheese was coagulated, the burgers were room temp, and the fries were wild greasy. This place is just around the corner, I mean cmon. Even if I did Uber Eats this, it was made and delivered within half an hour. There's really no excuse for it to be cold. I've had stuff delivered from McDonalds that was piping from way further away. I've also made burgers myself on my cast iron that are leagues above this. No, man...just, no. read more

Total waste of time! No option for different temperature of your burger which was tasteless. Thse guys pale when compared to BGR! We had to try it and we did, but never again. It took way too long to get them on a night when there was not much business. Only good part was that the onion rings were good. Sodas were not mixed right and tasted like soda water. I now know why they don't have a rewards program...hard to think about returning to choke down another one in order to get free food. BGR gives out great food and the rewards will bring you back smiling. read more

Disappointing after reading the hype. My burger was nothing better than I could make at home, including the bun, which looked and tasted like it came in an 8 pack from Giant and wasn't grilled or even warmed up. No local or craft beer, just some standard lagers on draft. Onion rings were bland. Fries were flavorful "urban style" but not crisp. Service was good and location was spacious and clean. read more

It's okay but.. for the price I would rather just go to five guys where they don't charge extra for toppings, don't get me wrong the food is great but I think five guys has better burgers and fries, I compared my order I do at five guys and it's more expensive here because of the toppings. Here you're basically paying that "green and organic is good for you" tax which is an allusion because all of this is unhealthy, but yeah if you're at rio this is the best burger out in the boardwalk. Unless you want to go to yard house and get a beer or a drink but the burgers and fries here are better. read more
