"Meh" - Not as good as advertised... We've heard a lot of chatter about BurgerFi. Friends told us that it's actually better than both Five Guys and In-n-Out (that's a bold statement) - Far from from it. While BurgerFi was alright, I wouldn't put it anywhere in the same stratosphere as either of those, and even Culver's and Round Robin are all-around better. The restaurant itself is cool... Nice set-up, very clean, and excellent customer service. When stopped in, the guy at the counter (presumably the manager was friendly and accommodating). Our food came out quick and it looked great, but the first thought was "That's not a lot of food for $40" (2 small burgers, baby fries, and drinks). The food was good but the burgers weren't the big juicy burgers you get at a Five Guys, etc. and the fries were kids size at best... It certainly wasn't worth $40. Similar to other reviews, restaurants need to stop with customer price gouging... There are too many out there taking advantage of customers and it needs to stop - I really hope corporate takes a look at what they're charging customers based on the amount of food they serve, or businesses like this won't stay in business. All-in-all BurgerFi was just average IMO and we'd be hard pressed to go back... To end on a positive note however, they serve $2 beers on Fridays, which was cool (albeit we didn't drink when we stopped in). read more

I am finally writing a review after visiting this place maybe 20+ times. The food here is great, except the hot dogs. The burger is always amazing and I like the fact that you can add a fried egg to it for an additional cost. Their chicken tenders is very good. My husband thinks they have the best onion rings. I think they have the best fries! Their shakes are also pretty good. They are pretty quick to bring out your order. So why the 4 stars and not 5? Well ... every single time I come here, their floor is always sticky. There is never a clean table. The trash is always full. Also, I have a problem with the trash. Unpopular onion: BurgerFi is alright. It's not horrible, but it's definitely not the best in the land. I had a burger with cheese. The bun was nice and lightly toasted. The meat had almost an odd flavor to it. Like it is kept in water or beef juices and then seared on the grilled. It reminded me of Turkey burgers, which I don't like the fries were a salty bland -- if that makes any sense. They potatoes had not flavor other than salt. This is my second time trying and my opinion is the same, it's ok, it's alright, I don't have to have to again. And in closing, I'm tired of seeing employees touching their phones, face, clothing with the same gloves they use to pack your food. That definitely leaves a bad taste in my mouth. read more

The good: The location is great! Lots of parking! The atmosphere is beautiful with lots of seating! Love that they have a keto option! Food is hot, fresh, and delicious! At a hotel, by hospital northeast side. No delivery for our area by most restaurants and uber eats etc.. So we were standing in hotel lobby and saw someone holding a BurgerFI bag- said let's go. So good for y'all for letting me chase ya down based on a bag ad lol..(hey there's a first time for everything!) Anyway- the food was very good for a burger/fry joint. Everything is ala carte, so it adds up quickly. The onion rings tasted great, but way way too thick...it was almost like they cut an onion in half and separated and battered it. The fries were yummy! I think next time I will ask for them to be cooked a bit crisper- personally I like crisper fries- but the taste was great. Unfortunately, the next am my husbands stomach was very bad- literally the only thing he ate that day was his burger and onion rings- but his burger was quite pink inside- maybe it was from that? Posh high class burger joint featuring a fantastic menu, well lit inside with bright cheerful metallic and wood atmosphere, and some good outdoor seating making for us three guys a good quick dinner fix. We enjoyed the friendly staff and nice menu selection. The burgers were perfectly done and very easy to eat, didn't get anything to experimental but from what I've heard from my sister there are few better places in the area to indulge the beef cravings. The fries were especially above average for a small chain. As others have mentioned the prices add up rather quickly, some may find it difficult trying here after a more budget friendly place like Steak n Shake. I personally go for The Loving Cafe in the Fort Wayne area before nearly all other restaurants due to their amazing value, incredible variety of vegan dishes, and almost unbelievable ability to blend their home crafted ingredients into healthy and tasty filing meals. But for the full on American addicted to the farm yard fair, BurgerFi is a must! read more

I saw someone post about another location of BurgerFi on Instagram and thought the lettuce wrapped burger looked really good so we decided to try one out. To start off our experience, the guy who took our order seemed like he wanted to be any place but taking our order so it put a bit of a damper on our first time. I got the bacon cheeseburger lettuce wrapped and added mayo, mustard, pickle, and grilled onion. Not sure why, but there is an upcharge for getting it lettuce wrapped. My husband got the CEO burger and we got a large fry for he and our son to share. My burger was good. Wasn't nearly as pretty, cheesy, or stacked with bacon as the picture I saw from someone who went to the location in Cincinnati. It was a typical burger... I didn't find anything special about mine. My husband said he thought the CEO burger was above average though. He said this was a BUUUUURGER. And stood out among the rest. He said he could tell it was wagyu beef because the flavor was better than regular burgers. The fry portions are HUGE. Fries were really greasy so if that's you're thing, you'll love them. The prices are high. For two burgers, a large fry, one drink, and a cup of water it was $30. They have two coke freestyle machines which is always a plus! Overall, the burgers were good. The serving was generous, but a pile of limp fries is just a pile of disappointment. Making it worse was the "parmesan cheese," which was completely flavorless and added nothing to the experience. I can't review the food because we didn't even get a chance to order. From the time we walked in until the moment we decided to leave, not a single worker acknowledged us. Someone who appeared to be a manager was bagging food at the front and never took the time to turn around, acknowledge us or take our order. And yes they all saw us standing there. I came to this place in November of 2018 when I was in Fort Wayne. I had never heard of BurgerFi before, so I just walked in with no idea what to expect. I'm not gonna lie. I was extremely nervous when I saw how low the prices were. Whenever I'm traveling I only go to the good restaurants, and I feared that this would be similar in quality to some of the national chains. Well, my fears went away after I took a bite out of it. I don't remember how much it costs, but it was not very much money and I was honestly shocked at the quality for the value. These types of burger places are very common in the Pacific Northwest because of all the free range cattle and potatoes grown. I live about 30 minutes from Coeur d'Alene and have about 10 options of similar burger places here, but in the Midwest there's nothing that comes close to this in terms of quality for the value. Another great thing about this place is that I didn't have to order my burger plain. They had an item called the Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger which is how I like my burgers without having to specify "no mayo, no lettuce, etc." That was extremely helpful knowing there's no chance it would be messed up. read more

I ordered the CEO burger. Thats an almost 13 dollar burger. I asked for no jam, but wanted aioli, all the toppings and a substitution for the Swiss Cheese (allergies) to be cheddar or American and served on lettuce instead of a bun. I got two cold and chewy patties that I know weren't the expensive beef, and lettuce. That's it! Yes I ate some because I'm was starving but with that...it was awful. Front desk help did the best they could, but the kitchen help was terrible. They messed up 3/4 burgers, tried to serve us cold fries, forgot the kids fries, forgot my youngest childs tenders throughout multiple trips back out, and took forever to fix my girls burger when we were the only people in there outside of pickup orders. We did get a refund for part of our bill, but it was a horrible experience overall. read more

Onion rings as big as your fist! Seriously huge and perfectly battered. One of my favorite items. My dad had a grilled chicken sandwich and strawberry shake and I don't think I've ever seen him devour a meal so quickly. My niece had a grilled cheese and she said it was "FABBBBULOUSSSS" Mom had a vegan burger of some sort and she said it's the best she's ever had. I've been here a couple times & each experience is poor. The food is cold & thrown together. This evening, we had the same experience so We called & ask to speak to the manager, they said the manager wasn't there & they'd write down our names & have them call. Their burgers are always great! They have some great sauces too! One of our favorites is the honey bbq, it looks more like honey mustard though. Think gourmet self service, with staff that seems to care about your experience. Onion rings are huge! Maybe a little to big. Suggest getting the spices option though, as the batter is great consistency, but a little bland. We order online yesterday, and got it to go. But after we got our food we decided to eat at one of their outside tables. We soon discovered that some sauce was missing from the order. So I went in an asked for the missing sauce, and promptly got it. After a few minutes a young lady checked on our experience with the food, and asked if there was any thing she could get us. Burgers: excellent! Fries: excellent! Beer: nice and cold! Ambiance: not so great. Very loud, crowded and busy. Fine for a quick lunch but if you are looking to relax this isn't the place. Layout: pretty unclear. You order at the counter, pay, find a seat and then go get your food when the buzzer buzzes. But where exactly to go when you enter isn't clear. I watched a lot of folks come in and stand for awhile trying to figure out where to go. Most of the time, then went to the wrong place. Gluten Sensitivity: not so hot. I asked the cashier about the availability of a gluten free bun. She told me that the Multigrain bun is 100% gluten free, or I could order "green style" which meant wrapped in iceberg lettuce. I decided to test this out, suspicious of the Multigrain actually being gluten free. When my multigrain bun order arrived, I poked at it a bit and it felt WAY too soft and flexible to be gluten free. So I went to the manager (who was readily available, personalable, and helpful) and asked about it. He said that the multigrain bun is absolutely a whole wheat bun. Not gluten free. So he had the kitchen make me a new burger, green style. This is all well and good, but disappointing that that original cashier was so clueless. As for the green style, it was good, but pretty hard to eat. I used a knife and fork. But give this place a try! My husband loved his bacon Swiss burger on a regular bun! read more

First time I came here I flew into town on Monday May 13 it was 30 minutes till closing and they locked the door. There were still several customers in the store. I waved at the wait staff and they looked like they were laughing. Never came to open the door and walked out of sight. IF you like Five Guys you'll love BurgerFi. Similar Fries in similar quantities but the burgers are much juicier. Chicken strips are solid too. I haven't had everything they offer yet but what I've had is very good. Order ahead with their app. A bit on the pricey side but worth it, IMO read more
