Wings Etc (Dupont Road) - for a change pace for American style food on the north side It's been a long time since I've been to a Wings Etc/ BWW type place. As a chance of pace...we mixed it up and tried Wings Etc on a Sunday afternoon - living on the edge LOL. This facility is located in the far west end of the strip mall at the corner of Dupont and Coldwater Road. It's opposite the Kroger and more toward Casa's. Easy in and easy out as there is parking close to the store. The store is kinda large (at least seemed that way today as it was empty) clean and in good repair. The team was very friendly. The place was slow so we had very attentive service. The food and drink menu is fairly large. They gave a full bar with lots of TV's. Nice place to relax, talk and watch a game. As for the food...I really don't expect a lot from these type of franchise places. I did find the onion rings to be pretty good. Nice meaty piece of onion with a thick batter. Slight crunchy breading - not too oily. No special sauce served with this. Just ketchup if you need it. My wife really liked the grilled chicken bacon wrap. Fresh ingredients and tasty. My grilled chicken quesadilla was large and thick. Tender chicken, thick bed of cheddar cheese and soft tortillas. read more

Never got my damn wings mane. Called them in and waited and waited, not even busy for lunch. And I waited. I finally left after 15 minutes.

On-Line advertised Traditional Wings at $0.59 ea but the server said they were $0.89 & then when the bill came they were $1.20 plus over $14 for a pitcher of Miller Lite. Come On! read more

Idk what I keep trying to come for lunch when there is never anyone in the front of the building. I sat down for a couple minutes to see if they were coming back out and no one did, so it just tells me it's going to take forever to get lunch even being the only one in the building. Perhaps corporate should consider staffing it better. read more

waited 40+ minutes for my food. Once I questioned when it would be ready.. they immediately brought it out, no doubt it was sitting on the plate warmer for a hot minute. both me and my boyfriends order was wrong & stale. They brought out the condiments that were meant to be placed on my burger, the tomate had something white and weird looking. Took even longer to get our check. Terrible service!! Employees don't even care if you're there. Entered and sign said "please wait to be seated" no one was there at the front, probably waiting 3-4 minutes before being seated. Then we waited another 10 minutes without anyone coming to our table before walking out. Several times other employees would walk past visibly noticing we haven't been waited on yet. As we walked out guy asked why we were leaving, and his excuse was that "it wasn't his section..." I'm sure he had more important things happening on his phone. Worst service ever! read more

We ate here at the DuPont location for the first time. We normally go to Kendalville. The food was absolutely wonderful and served to us very quickly! The waitress was very nice, but only came back once during our dinner. So, we did not get refills and I had to flag down another waitress to get our bill so we could leave. It was a Friday evening around 9pm. A whole group of teenagers started coming in and were kinda all over the place. I really don't think they even ordered anything as they were only there around 15-20 min. As they were going in and out of the front door, someone started shooting a paintball gun outside at them. On 3/17/23 we placed an order via Door Dash which included a 'wing basket' and chicken quesadilla. The wings were extremely tough and almost inedible while the quesadilla was embarrassing - each section had 2 to 3 super small pieces of chicken and a small amount of melted cheese, that's it. What amazes me is how competitive the restaurant business is and places like Wings Etc are selling this crap expecting people to come back! Went to Wings Etc on Dupont Rd yesterday to pick up wings for Sunday football. Had I used their on line order option 50 wings would have cost me $50.79. That included no blue cheese or ranch and no celery or carrots. Or apparently any sauce on the wings. Called in to place order instead-as I wanted the order split as far as the sauces on them. I was told that the price for 50 wings included nothing, not even the choice of wing sauce, but could I could have as many different ones as I wanted-but there was a UP charge per wing for sauce on them? Are you freaking kidding me? So if you order 50 wings you get 50 wings that are cooked. You get NO SAUCE, no blue cheese or ranch, no celery or carrots? By the time I left my 50 wings were $70. I paid an additional $16 plus to have sauce on them. I guess I will reconsider getting wings at Wings Etc. And when I got home with them they were still hot, had very little sauce on them AND looked and tasted like leftover wings. I always have left over wings when I order in at an establishment and after two days in the fridge the skin on them is hard as a rock. Thats how I know these were left over from a previous day. I will not be going to Wings Etc again. Have always gotten wings there. Not any more. Service was good when I got there to pick up but that was the only good thing I can say about it. 12/9/23 5:50 PM we ordered 2 meals for pick up. Website advised it would be ready at 6:15 so I drove over and got in long line for pick up. I got to the window at 6:20 and waited. Then at 6:35 I was advised it wb 15-20 minutes more. At 6:50 the food was brought out. They do cover themselves with a text that does say we will text you when your order "is really ready". Terrible communication and the process of telling customer a time food will be ready when you order but then advise we will text you when it's ready. Many pissed off customers. Under promise and over deliver. They were very busy. My advice is tell customers we are swamped and it will be 60 minutes not 25 for your meal. Be honest at least. Food was good. read more

This place is okay at best, staff seems like they don't really know what they are doing and the bar area has weird rules. In the bar all tables have to be filled up to use it. A friend and I went and tried to sit down at a table on the bar side and was rudely yelled at by the bartender that we can't sit there because there's not 5 of us. After that we had to just go stand and wait 10 min for a table even though there were table open on the bar side. Our server was nice. The food was meh. Burgers were over done and the chicken was more breading than chicken. I would recommend going somewhere else if your looking. read more

I wondered around looking for a menu as well as silverware. I prefer bone-in Wings and as you can tell by the picture, boneless arrived to the table. I didn't have the fight in me that night to send them back. I'm hoping the Management makes some positive changes soon. I have to drive by BWW's to get to Wings Etc. We were so excited to try them based on some enthusiastic Yelp reviews! We're v hard on our wings reviews. We've discovered the best way to make them at home and so far literally no one has measured up. But ... sometimes you don't wanna cook! We got carryout, which means they weren't as good as they could be. Fair. And we know it and judged accordingly. We ordered dry-rub lime-pepper and medium Buffalo. Both had almost no flavor at all. Late in the game we discovered a bunch of sauce at the bottom of the Buffalo, so oops. Would have made a bit of a difference. The Buffalo wings themselves had little to no sauce at all. We love that they're deep fried. If you can't serve them crispy, don't serve them at all, right? These were obvs crispy at one point but the traveling sort of ruined that. Not their fault at all. I'm sure that at the restaurant they're v crispy! We stopped there around 430 on a Sunday. The place was PACKED. The service was v friendly. Thinking it is probably a good place to try in person, even for other things on the menu. Not ruling them out by any means, and in fact they're next in line, but so far our homemade baked wings are the best! read more

I would say one of the best wing places in Fort Wayne. I always order the boneless in BBQ. They're delicious. The don't skip out on the sauce and the chicken wings have plenty of meat and are big chunk and don't skip out there either. I highly recommend Wings Etc! read more

Its a wing joint done right! My family and I used to go to Buffalo Wild Wings bi-weekly...no more! Wings Etc. has taken over as our new Tuesday night haunt. It is always clean and inviting. Wings are large and typically perfectly cooked (turnover of the kitchen staff can make it slightly inconsistent, but never to the point I would go to Buffalo Wild Wings instead)...an the best part is...no waiting in line. You can usually just go in and sit down. So why only 4 stars? Because that's the highest rating I'll give to a restaurant that doesn't have raw oysters, sushi, Kobe beef or grilled swordfish/shark/grouper on the menu. It's pub-grub. Not exactly fine dining...but it's great for what it is. Hooters sucked, Buffalo Wild Wings is overhyped like a Kanye West album, and the rest of the local wing joints are 21+ only, no family dining. This place is a great fit for us, give it a shot. Oh, the ribs are pretty awesome...and kids eat free on Tuesdays. read more

Wow! I was really surprised by Wings Etc. I was expecting average wings and I got amazing wings. They have a sauce selection comparable to BWW, but the chicken is higher quality, and the sauce tastes better. I go to BWW on a weekly basis in Indy, but I will crave Wings Etc until I get back up to Fort Wayne. Plus, you can't beat the fried veggies. read more

My go to spot for wings in Fort Wayne, recently overtaking BWWS. Service is always fast and friendly. Bartender always fun to talk to when its not busy. The TNT and Me-So-Spicy wings are fantastic if you can handle the heat. I'm not sure why more people don't come here, its clearly better (in my mind) than bwws in every aspect, save for the ridiculous number of tvs. (And they do have plenty!) Great place to hangout, and on this particular trip we didn't even eat, just stopped for drinks! Whether it's drink specials or a craving for wings, wings etc is on my top list of "go tos" in the Fort Wayne area. read more

Wings Etc might be the most consistently excellent chain-food experience I've ever had, and this location is the gold standard of the many Wings Etc locations I've been to. Between the excellent wings, the dizzying selection of alcohol, and the top-notch wait staff, this restaurant is permanently enshrined as one of my all-time favorites. I knew that I was addicted when, after walking into the bar during one trip with a friend, the bartender (Michael) recognized us and immediately offered up two Blue Moon schooners, our usual. That extremely impressive level of service is likely possible because this location sees a relatively low amount of foot traffic. Despite patronizing this location dozens of times on different days at different hours, we have not once waited for a table. What can be said about the food that hasn't been said already? The wings are spectacular. You can expect them to be large and swimming in sauce. Speaking of which, the sauce choices are overwhelming: their classic BBQ is a go-to, but try out the Say It Ain't Tso or Me-So-Spicy for something a little different. If its alcohol you're after, its hard to do better on this side of town. Their draft selection isn't quite as extensive as Buffalo Wild Wings down the road but it gets the job done without the large crowds and strange chlorine smell. They will certainly do mixed drinks much better. The first time we visited Wings Etc was during a big game night. Buffalo Wild Wings was completely packed, so we continued down the road a bit to try this other place which ended up having a few open tables and spots at the bar. Life is full of strange mysteries; among them I add "Why will people wait thirty minutes for mediocre wings at BWW when there's Wings Etc a half-mile down the road with better food and better service?" We were very pleased with the chips and queso as an appetizer, and the $5.25 domestic schooner was a great deal. The only downside of our visit was service. We were seated in the bar area, which was nearly full, and only one waitress was in the area. This caused her to be responsible for bartending and serving every customer in the bar area - not ideal. However, I would recommend Wings to anyone looking for a casual dining experience with good, cold beer. read more

i honestly can believe they call these wings, its disgusting the wings had such a nasty after taste and the boneless were so hard made the roof of my tongue bleed when I bit into it. the server took about 45 min to even hand us menus and get us drinks was about another 15 min. what ever we ordered are food and waited about an hour first bite me and my spouse took it was horrible, food was so cold and had a nasty after taste. we didn't care about the wait we were just chatting but once we tasted the food and seen how nasty and cold we got bothered then checking out she took soo freaking long to give us the recite not even done swiping my card took longer too.
