Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with fries #YUMMY
    Nikki P.

Got the Philly cheesesteak combo with a lemonade. Lemonade was different and hella sweet. The cheesesteak was greasy and tasty AF! The fries are bomb too. I'd come back if I had the munchies or wanted comfort food just because. It's a decent size portion of food but if you're pretty hungry, then maybe order 2 sandwiches.

Super Philly and fries...normal people who are hungry probably have to order two of these to be filled.

Got the super sized Philly steak and it was very good...it came with a couple of dipping sauces...one was hotter than the other...I put the hotter one on my steak and the other I used for fry dipping...The girl was friendly and provided good service....The problem I have with this place is the servings are tiny..I got the super size Philly and fries...I couldn't believe how small it was...After I ate it I was still hungry....I actually called to order another but by then the grill was turned off so I left still hungry...Never before have I eaten a steak hoagie and been hungry after. I would have to order two super Philly and fries just for myself to be full...That would be about $20...This super size Philly is about equal to a normal half sub...If the portion size was normal size I would give them 5 stars.

The Super Philly cheesesteak, fries, and drink combo for $8.99 is a great deal and well worth the drive for the amount of food. Includes all the usual peppers onions and mushrooms toppings for that price, and their famous lemonade. Lemonade is like a shaved ice with your choice of flavored mixer. Only complaint was that the cheesesteak was dripping oil and was seasoned too heavily with their tasty special blend, and you have to ask for everything from the counter (straws, napkins, ketchup, utensils) and they don't have condiment bottles. Will go back to try the fried fish, wings, and chicken.

Ok local dive bar... Stopped by PP for lunch on a recommendation from a friend; were told they have…read morebest wings in FW. PP was alright... Decent food (the wings are smoked and were very average; nothing to write home about), decent service, and typical local dive bar atmosphere. The biggest drawback here was the bar allowed smoking... While it didn't smell like an ashtray (surprisingly), all the old locals were smoking which is annoying and not appealing when you're eating (Note: Based on the sign above the bar, I don't think they care what you think lol). All-in-all, not bad, but not great... If you like an ole country no-frills dive bar, check out PP.

Definitely curious to see what it was like, with all the negative publicity from "the incident". The bar and dining area were clean, the restrooms could maybe use a coat of paint and some refreshing, but were otherwise spotless. We were warmly greeted, welcomed in like regulars. Enjoyed an appetizer with our drinks, pretzel sticks with cheese, which were served hot and fresh. Before leaving, one of the regulars invited us to come back the following week for a hog roast, and we went! We didn't realize until arriving that day, that the hog roast was a memorial after a funeral. We felt a little like we were intruding, but none of the other patrons made us feel that way. At the hog roast, we encountered a very diverse group of people, varying ethnicities, varying income brackets, all enjoying the bar with each other. Recently, we popped in for lunch, and were blown away by the portion sizes and the quality. I had the "garbage pizza" as a sausage roll, and it was enormous! Delicious, heavily loaded with toppings, served hot and fresh. My husband had a grilled buffalo chicken grinder, which was also much bigger than anticipated. Fresh and crunchy veggies topped the grilled chicken in the sandwich. Both meals left plenty for leftovers, or would have been perfect to split for a meal for two. We definitely plan to visit again soon for another meal. Overall, this dive bar is so much more than the negative publicity it received due to an isolated incident. If we lived closer, it would definitely be our regular spot.

Mild pineapple taste coupled with a smooth and ice cold ginger beer. The cooper cup sweating cold invitations is a topper. We decided to split a Cobb Salad. Our server Diego was outstanding all night. He was more than willing to split the salad. He did everything you wanted a waiter to do to make your experience enjoyable! The Cobb salad was very fresh. The kitchen did an outstanding job at making it presentable in a half dish manner. There was plenty of toppings to accent the salad. The grilled chicken was moist, easy to cut and slightly seasoned to enjoy. The Cobb salad is a must try if you are a salad goer. The pizza was good. It has a thin crust that was crispy but not burnt. The pizza was just soft enough that you could cut it with a fork. We had the everything pizza. There was a good variety of toppings and plenty of them. The sauce was not very predominant. I would probably ask for extra sauce next time so I could enjoy the tomato sauce accents more. Overall...good thin crust pizza.

Big Eyed Fish on Wells Street - when you have a craving for Fish & Stroh style fish and tarter…read moresauce Yes, I know that I could go to Stroh to get this old time flavor. However, Big Eyed Fish is pretty good fish in its own right, local...and flavored like the taste I remember from the past. We visited the Big Eyed Fish location on Well's street. They have an express shop located on Huegenard Road and another dine in location at Leo Crossing. This location has been in service since 2003. It has a nice diner feel with super friendly service. You can find parking on the street or in the lot behind the store. The inside is rather large and works well for parties up to about 8 diners. There is a small bar and TV's if that is your thing. They also have a big and varied menu including breakfast items. Here is a run down of the food items: -Fried Fish: the white fish fillet is thin and fried with a thin breading. The fish is moist and tender. It will flake apart with a fork or by hand. The breading has a slight amount of seasoning and isn't very oily to taste. It has a taste similar to the Fish & Stroh style if you are familiar with that. The fillets are not very filling. For an extra $3...I went with the all you can eat option. Delicious fish! -Tarter Sauce: I love tarter sauce. In fact I might order fish to go with my tarter sauce - lol. This mayo based sauce is reasonably thick, somewhat sweet and has a hint of pickle flavoring. It's creamy and makes a perfect complement to the fried fish flavor. -Baked Beans: this side really surprised me. The bean is small and contained hamburger pieces. The sauce had a slight BBQ flavor but not enough to classify it as a BBQ baked bean dish. The meat flavor was a nice add to the smooth tomato spiced sauce. Delicious!! -Cole Slaw: I kind of use KFC as the standard for Cole Slaw. This is very similar. The slaw pieces are cut very small with only one kind of slaw. Seemingly no additives - just slaw. The sauce is mayo based, a bit more sweet along with a hint of vinegar. I loved this side too! -Hush Puppies: these balls are pretty small in diameter. The inside is very modista and sweet with that southern style corn bread taste. The outside is thicker, a bit oily to taste and has a mild corn bread taste/texture. These are probably some of the best hush puppies I've had in my southern raised life.
