    Gorgonberry salad
    Nelson M.

This burger place is likely the best here now in Fort Wayne. It is located at the landing. There is a parking structure nearby so it's easy to park and get to the restaurant. There's plenty of seating. I've been here twice now and I would highly recommend the Gorgonberry salad. It's probably the freshest and tastiest salad in Fort Wayne. The burgers are definitely juicy and flavorful. I do agree with other reviews that the fries could benefit from a due over. Even though they are fresh cut fries, I felt that they were cooked too long along with being too salty. servers are nice and friendly. Overall, this is a restaurant that I would like to come back to and eat at whenever I am craving burgers. Hidden deal: make sure to download the app to earn points for free food in the future.

I feel like Michael from The Office! "It's Happening, it's happening!" I found something there that I do not like and will not recommend. The Nashville Hot Chicken is an abomination and should be removed from the menu. The chicken I had was served burnt, smelling and tasting exactly like grease. The only HOT flavor was the HOT crisco taste at first bite. Now I will say this, it's hot or miss. My son had it last week and it was amazing, I had it today and it was an epic fail. It's not worth the risk. I had the chili cheese fries. They were TOP TIER. Smooth cheese drizzled on top, evenly spread Chili over a bed of hand cut fries. The chili had a hint of ginger to it, nothing overwhelming , but I did detect it. Service, as usual, was impeccable. We were genuinely greeted upon entry and quickly seated. They have an amazing staff.

Chicken Wings with Cavern Club Hot Sauce

Best burger place in town. It's not even close. We were invited to the pre-grand opening. Drinks: Bramble On - $12 - Bourbon, Blackberry, Lemonade, Ginger Beer - Husband loved it. 5/5 stars. Old Fashioned - $12 - Whisky, Brown Sugar Simple Syrup, Walnut Bitters - Husband loved it. Said it started off smooth then got stronger as it finished. 5/5 stars. Blueberry Basil Cooler - $7 - Blueberry, Basil, Lime, Coconut Water - This is one of my favorite mocktails. It was blended really well. Good blueberry and basil flavor. This drink really helps to cut through the fatty foods. 5/5 stars. Appetizers: Chicken Wings with Cavern Club Hot Sauce and Teriyaki Glaze - $16.50 - We got two orders of wings. The Cavern Club Hot Sauce is buffalo but it's a very sweet buffalo and not spicy at all. Husband liked this one more. I preferred the Teriyaki Glaze. Good balance in the teriyaki sauce. The wings were crispy and perfectly cooked. It comes with a gorgonzola salad. It has tomatoes, cucumbers, and gorgonzola cheese and dressing tastes like a thin tzatziki sauce. 5/5 stars. Burgers: Patty Melt - $13.50 (+$2.50 for Fries) - Smashed Patties, Caramelized Onions, American Cheese, Fontana Sauce, Sourdough Bread - Very good. Everything was perfectly cooked. Greasy but not overwhelmingly greasy. The fries were fantastic. Crispy but still starchy inside. 5/5 stars. Garlic-Three Cheese - $13.50 (+$4.50 for Onion Rings) - Swiss, American, Mozzarella, Roasted Garlic, Truffle Aioli - Good burger. The flavor was good, bordering on too salty. The garlic and truffle flavor was there. I couldn't distinguish the different cheeses, but that's ok. The onion rings are very crispy and well made. 5/5 stars. Dessert: Peach-White Chocolate Bread Pudding - $9 - Good bread pudding. Eats dense but the peaches in the pudding give it a nice balance. Can't really taste any white chocolate. The ice cream is good and the whipped cream was probably unnecessary. 4.5/5 stars. Service is attentive, but some things should be fixed. Before ordering any food, the waiters should always ask if anyone has any food allergies. I'm allergic to mustard, but thankfully it's not a life threatening allergy, just hives for a few weeks. Here's the story. So the first time around, we ordered drinks and the wings with buffalo sauce. The next time around I remember to ask what burgers have mustard on them, because I'm allergic. So the waitress says most of them don't have mustard, but if it says it in the description then it has mustard. She also said that they mark it on the ticket if anyone has an allergy and to make sure to avoid cross contamination. Sounds good. We order the burgers and she leaves. Probably about 10 minutes later the wings come out. We start to eat them, then the waitress comes over and apologizes that there's mustard in the sauce. This is why we got two orders of wings, since the second one was a replacement for me to eat. Someone else from the wait staff (maybe a manager?) comes over to make sure I'm ok and if I need medical care. We assure him that I'm fine. Now, the kitchen staff should have been aware at this point to avoid giving me anything with mustard. One of the chefs even came out to tell me that actually there's no mustard in the buffalo sauce, so no need to worry. Eventually the burgers come out, but here's where I facepalmed a little bit. Accompanying my side of onion rings was BBQ sauce which has mustard in it. I did point it out to the waitress when she came to check on us, and she said the side of onion rings normally comes with BBQ sauce. Obviously this was their first day, so things were confusing for everyone, but someone needs to be watching out for food allergies. Ambiance was interesting. Two TVs to watch some games, but they didn't go overboard. The noise level is wild. It was hard to talk to my husband. I had to ask him a lot to repeat what he said. Probably need some sound dampeners in the room. Overall, the food is fantastic. Prices are reasonable. I'd come back here again.

Popped in for lunch. It took a minute for us to see our server, but when we did she was awesome! Super helpful and very friendly. I got the Southern with onion rings and my friend got the Bru Burger with Fries. We both loved our burgers. Wish we could have been around for their happy hour. They have great deals.

The burger was flavorful.. the fries were eh. The casual, relaxed vibe makes it a great spot for dinner without feeling too upscale. Perfect for a quick bite or a laid-back night out.

We are so excited that BRU Burger has come to The Landing!! Marquee is one of our favorite restaurants downtown and BRU Burger, which is also run by Cunningham Restaurant Group, has the same excellent management and great customer service. (And the same Rewards program!!) The interior hasn't changed drastically from the two previous inhabitants, and is great because it's a great space! The color scheme is urban and comfy and there are more (and nicer) tables outside, which is a great addition! I started out with a mocktail (the Blueberry Basil Cooler), which was very tasty after a good stir, and then had the Botanist Lemonade, which I highly recommend. We shared the Onion Rings (nice and crispy!! And next time I would request jarred ketchup, only because I always seem to prefer it to homemade ketchup!) and the delicious Triple Dip. We all raved about the goat cheese dip and we're delighted we could get more of the grilled naan. My entree was my first ever Bru Hot Chicken sandwich, and it was outstanding. Tender chicken with a wonderfully crispy skin that was nice and spicy! My husband gave his Sriracha Caesar Salad with Blackened Salmon and enthusiastic thumbs-up! For dessert we shared the Chocolate Milkshake (a classic!) and brought home an order of Peach White Chocolate Bread Pudding, which was divine! Served with caramel sauce, ice cream AND and whipped cream, it was tender and favorable, with the perfect crust. A much-appreciated bonus was the slightly lower price point for The Landing! Can't wait to go back!

Their food was delicious and well presented, the server was attentive and kind, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. I always enjoy visiting the Landing so I will absolutely be returning.

Great new addition to the landing. Onion rings are fantastic! The burgers and fries equally as tasty. Service was fast and friendly, we probably had 3-4 different people bring us drinks/food/menus through out the meal. It is a tad chilly inside but that might have been because it was so hot outside! Pricing will have you at about $20-$30 a person if you do drinks or apps with your meal. Excellent place for a date night in Fort Wayne

Bru Burger with chilly cheesy fries & Double Burger with onion rings
    Zhanna C.

First time trying it, and so far, so good! The food was awesome--burgers were perfectly seasoned with the right amount of salt and spices, and very juicy. The variety of sides was great, though I may have been a bit ambitious ordering two! For me, just the burger without a side would have been more than enough. The employees were very friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. The interior, however, was a bit dull and not really to my taste, but I came for the food, and it didn't disappoint! Definitely a well-deserved 5+ stars.

"Meh" - Not as good as advertised…read more.. We've heard a lot of chatter about BurgerFi. Friends told us that it's actually better than both Five Guys and In-n-Out (that's a bold statement) - Far from from it. While BurgerFi was alright, I wouldn't put it anywhere in the same stratosphere as either of those, and even Culver's and Round Robin are all-around better. The restaurant itself is cool... Nice set-up, very clean, and excellent customer service. When stopped in, the guy at the counter (presumably the manager was friendly and accommodating). Our food came out quick and it looked great, but the first thought was "That's not a lot of food for $40" (2 small burgers, baby fries, and drinks). The food was good but the burgers weren't the big juicy burgers you get at a Five Guys, etc. and the fries were kids size at best... It certainly wasn't worth $40. Similar to other reviews, restaurants need to stop with customer price gouging... There are too many out there taking advantage of customers and it needs to stop - I really hope corporate takes a look at what they're charging customers based on the amount of food they serve, or businesses like this won't stay in business. All-in-all BurgerFi was just average IMO and we'd be hard pressed to go back... To end on a positive note however, they serve $2 beers on Fridays, which was cool (albeit we didn't drink when we stopped in).

It really is a must try if you are looking g for a dinning experience. The facility is small and parking out back can be a challenge. Making reservations is easy on their website. I would encourage this as it is nice to have and be able to relax. The team here is great. Addie greeted us and quickly got us to our table. She was friendly, all smiles and quick to make sure our water glasses were refilled. Chelsea was our waitress. She made us feel right at home and welcomed. She made sure to follow up regularly with us and was very friendly. Corey, one of the owners and chefs, came out to meet us. You could tell that he was genuinely glad we were there and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the cook. The atmosphere is very quaint. The dining area is small but overly packed or loud. The white table coverings and dim lights were nice. There was soft jazz music overhead and an interesting collection of local art work on the wall. I was surprised that Chance didn't have much drink service outside of beer and wine. There is a bar predominantly places in the restaurant but no liquor items to serve. The wine list was moderately large and had a couple items that would appeal to dry red wine drinkers. One of the things I like about Chance is the selection of small plate shareables. You can make a meal out of a couple or accent an entree as an appetizer. We like to get several of these to sample. We started with the beer bread. The comes with two large slices of bread. The bread is served room temperature. This leads you to conclude, at first bite, that the bread is a bit dry and stale. The bread is thick and dense. It does has a drier taste but it isn't dry. There is a good beer flavoring present. The honey butter was fun. The butter chunk was thicker and hard. The honey was drizzled over the top with possibly a little cinnamon accent. You had to work a little to get the ratio and spread you want. The beer battered mushrooms are still good. The medium sized mushroom is covered in a thick and crispy batter. There is a slight beer taste in each large mushroom. The mild horseradish dipping sauce was a nice compliment. We also ordered the rib tips. This is a small dish that is packed with lots of flavor. The crispy garlic chips were unique and tasty. The garlic is overpowering and crisp tastes slightly burnt. The honey BBQ sauce is delicious - mop it off the plate delicious! The sauce is thick and sweet. It has a slightly strong BBQ spice flavor. The jalapeño rings are well cooked and soaked up the BBQ glaze nicely. While tasty the jalapeño rings were slightly spicy to taste. We did order the ricotta gnocchi again. It was delicious the first time we ordered it. It was outstanding again. The gnocchi is freshly made and soft but slightly firm to cut. The ricotta gives the dish a slight cheese flavor. The tomato based sauce is smooth and moderately thick. The sightly sweet Italian seasoned sauce was a perfect covering for the gnocchi!

I asked if they had a milkshake menu, but apparently corporate decided to get rid of the milkshake menu and make all the waiters recite the menu over and over again. How stupid is that? Reese's, Salted Honey Cinnamon, Strawberry - $7 - The best one was strawberry, and that's not saying much. Every milkshake was so watery that we were drinking flavored milk more than ice cream. The waitress even got my milkshake on my shoes. She apologizes about how watery it is, but that's it.
