My family and I come here consistently, and the staff is always a pleasure to deal with. It's "ok". I am happy that they have two options for the vegetarians, because unfortunately I can't eat quinoa. I have had the "Beyond Meat" brand of burgers I buy locally and they taste pretty good, for not being beef. Hubs and I came here prior to a Trader Joe's run with a hankering for some food. I'm a die-hard Shake Shack fan, but after moving to Commack and realizing there weren't any locations super close by, I had to give Burgerfi a try. Their burgers are delicious and I appreciate this company using grade-A beef, but their ONION RINGS... lord have mercy! It's the best I've ever had. A must-have pairing to your burger. I watched one of the employees take out the garbage and roll up the dirty floor mats and then go straight to taking peoples orders and handling their food without changing his gloves... Absolutely disgusting, and should be taken very seriously because people can easily get sick from that. Like touching the garbage and then touching your burger? I dont know about you but thats not how i like my burgers. When you come to a restaurant you are trusting the staff and cooks to handle your food properly, with care, and sanitarily. Just came here again tonight for a quick bite and as usual it did not disappoint. The burgers are always so good. Cooked perfectly. Nice and cheesy. Buns aren't super buttery which I like. Tomato and lettuce is never soggy. Tons of big tables for big groups. Outdoor patio with pretty lights. A few beers and bottles of wine to choose from which is a big plus. Tried BurgerFi was an alternative to Shake Shack since I was going to Trader Joe's a couple blocks down anyway. I went with the CEO burger, since it seemed super decadent. And it was. What came was a burger with two patties, aged swiss cheese, truffle aioli, and a bacon-tomato jam. The flavor of the truffle stood out without being overpowering. What little bacon-tomato jam I had was very good and did a good job of providing a sweet-tangy flavor contrast to the rich burger. I liked the bun as well. It was buttery and toasted to a golden brown. I also had the "Cry + Fry", which is a mix of french fries and onion rings. The onion rings are spectacular. They're these gigantic rings with just the right amount of breading and fried to a perfect crisp. The onion inside is cooked through and you can bite right through it without accidentally pulling out the entire onion out of the ring. The french fries were less successful and were soggy and greasy from the start. So why only four stars instead of five? The price. The burger, as many reviews have pointed out, is a bit small. The burger, the cry and fry, and a fountain drink came to around $22. For that price, I could sit down at a restaurant and have a burger. But I did enjoy my meal and the meat they use at BurgerFi is very high quality, so I felt four stars was fair. I came here during one of my Yelp elite events and was surprised by their large selection of burgers. This is one of the only places in Long Island that featured Japanese beef in their patty's. Their "CEO" burger was my favorite and will probably be my go to the next time I stop by. The owner was extremely knowledgeable about burgers and explained to us the history of their restaurant. The food was very good but very small, especially for the prices. You definitely have to wait but the inside is pretty spacious so you should be able to find seating. The service was excellent and staff was very friendly. But why is the food so teeny tiny??!! UPDATE: I haven't been since last August but last night my sister told me that I must try the Beyond Burger. We ordered ahead and took it home. It was absolutely amazing! Felt like a burger Saturday during a bike ride and turned to my trusted yelpers and found this spot. Had. A bacon cheeseburger and let me tell you I was pleasantly pleased. This was a juicy greasy cheesy burger and hit the spot. Loved it so much I wanted to go in for another but diet cheat day only allows for one. So why not a five star rating? Well the bacon was a bit hard / well done when. I feel back on should be soft and chewy but that's just me. The other issues I had is I feel when buying a burger they should always include salt pepper and ketchup this is a given but I had to ask for them. And all the tables in the dining room were filthy and were not properly spaced for COVID so it kind of turned me off and I had my burger outside. But I plan to go back again on this weeks cheat day and I will either confirm my review or upgrade. We always have to give them at least 2 shots at a five star. This was my first time at this burgerfi location and it did not disappoint. The fries and onion rings were really good, especially dipping them in one of their dipping sauces. Be weary, the onion rings are huge! They are definitely worth getting. Burgers were good also. My favorites are the CEO burger and the all day breakfast burger. Both are quality burgers. You could tell burgerfi uses quality ingredients also. Tried the red velvet milk shake and that was very good also. I don't have any complaints with my trip here. Well I walked in on a Sunday afternoon, it was quiet inside. Any other time I pass by it is packed. Walked in and staff was wiping the tables, everyone was happy and uplifting. Read the menu, asked a question and was ordering the CEO burger as I have never had wagyu meat. And the urban fries which have parmesan & a white sauce on it. The jam that is on the CEO burger absolutely made an impression on me. Next time double jam haha. The restaurant seemed clean with exception to the floor, did not bother me. Ample parking. And once again all staffed had a positive attitude. I sat pretty far from the register and was waiting for my order. The older gentlemen saw me walking up and brought it to me. Great service starts there. Now the kicker to me was the hair in my fries. Listen it's not the worst thing that can happen so I deducted a point. It shouldn't happen considering the staff were all wearing hats. I finished my burger, grabbed a refill of by root beer and tossed the fries. $18 for CEO burger / double wygu blend patties with swiss and tomatoe jam. Edit: the owner of this restaurant responded to my original review and properly credited me for our meal. We came back to eat again and we were happy with our meal the second time around. We got two burgers and fries but strangely had to come back to the counter because they forgot our fries. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. The food was much better this time around. Overall felt like the owner did right by us. Original review: I very seldom give 1 star reviews but BurgerFi definitely tested me on doing so. My girlfriend showed up as our food was brought out, however our fries were very, very soggy and you can tell they had been sitting out for some time. Both of our burgers were missing the BurgerFi sauce (which is an important ingredient to the BurgerFi burger). If it was one, it's a mistake, but for both of our burgers to be missing it, it is clearly just carelessness. The burgers were slightly undercooked and put together very sloppy. This is only my second time at BurgerFi and possibly the last, there is no way I'm paying over $8 for a burger like this. Burger King is across the street and regardless of quality, they actually know how to put together a burger and not forget ingredients. read more

While the food at Commack BurgerFi is decent, the staff is oblivious & unprofessional. Daughter ordered burger meal. When she had to return to tell them they forgot the fries, they gave her a hard time. Annoyed they gave her a 1/2 order of soggy fries that obviously were sitting there a while. As well they forgot the bacon on my husband's bacon cheese burger. For the prices being charged, BurgerFi needs to train the staff better:( read more
