They never honor orders and are consistently wrong. We called and spoke to ANGELIKA and she was sweet but didnt see it as a big deal. I work in service too and you taking peoples hard earned money and not giving them what they ordered isnt called business its called stealing lol. I made some garlic aioli ( very easy and very good) to go with the fries that didnt have the topping but then realized the CEO burger which was 13 bucks wasnt that at all but was the regular burger. I cook everyday after work cause preparing your own food tastes better and is easier and affordable. But once a month it is date night and splurge night so this time we trusted burger fi but unfortunately they just arent cut out for that trust so cant again. Very very solid burger restaurant. Patties are about size of Shake Shack, has abundance of toppings including fried egg, aioli sauce, grilled onions, etc.. French fries can be ordered a few different ways including urban style (parmesan, herbs, aioli). Fries were crispy but a few slightly burnt at our visit. Pretty large amount of fries given for the order size. The price point is great and makes it a viable option for the burger seeker who's on a budget, wants to customize their burger, but also doesn't want McDonald's. Less pricey than shake shack for what you're getting. We got the beyond burger (plant based) which actually was juicy and had a great texture, great alternative if you're trying to cut back on meat intake for whatever reason. I would say it doesn't taste exactly like meat, but texture wise, resembles meat very well. The regular beef burger patty is solid. Hello - For $20 you would expect a better burger and fries than a $13 place. I have eaten here many time and it gets worse every time. I will probably stick with 5 guys going forward. I ordered my burger with just cheese. The guys actually asked me twice what I wanted on it. I was clear. And I order fries. My order took over 15 minutes. When it did finally come and it came with lettuce and tomatoes. I told the guy and he said Oh, just give it back to me and we'll take it off. I did it myself as I didn't wanna wait any longer. The fries and burger were definitely not just cooked. Or if anything, it sat there a while cooling. The burger was not hot or juicy. Plus it didn't have the stamp on bun. Okay so why has it taken so long for me to discover and try Burgerfi. I think it was the polarizing reviews on Yelp. What you see are either 1-2 star reviews or 5 star reviews. I saw this place on DoorDash and the pictures looked so good. So despite the conflicting reviews, I decided to go for it. Being that this is a 5 star review from me, I think it's no surprise to anyone how I think about this place. I got two burgers -- original fi'ed chicken sandwich, the burgerfi cheeseburger, a black and white shake, and regular fries with the Parmesan herb (urban style). The order was delivered by DoorDash pretty promptly in about 30 minutes. First of all, the bag came well-packaged. It had tape and burgerfi stickers to close the bag; therefore, I don't have to worry or wonder if my DoorDash driver had gone through my food. They had put a wrap on the shake so nothing spilled. I'm sure it also helped that my DoorDash driver was handling my food with care. The burger and sandwich were also in a sleeve (sort of like Shake Shack) and then put into a box. The fries also came in a box that closed. So, No oily tinfoil (think 5 guys) and no food exposure (like shake shack). Like I said -- well-packaged. So the food, the chicken was juicy and it was a thick piece of chicken. It had lots of its condiments including lettuce, tomato, pickles, and burgerfi sauce. Not a shabby chicken sandwich. The cheeseburger was equally well made. The beef was juicy but cooked well it was salted well and you can taste the quality beef they use. I've had other burgers from well-known chains (ahem, 5 guys, ahem) and this is definitely much better and tastier meat. Also despite the juiciness of both sandwich and burger (and all the condiments), and having traveled about 10 minutes of delivery time, the bread was not soggy. The fries were fried well and it was a good portion. I am particular with my fries and while I'd still prefer other fries, Burgerfi fries were still good in my book. They are generous with the seasoning and it had lots of Parmesan and herb sprinkled throughout. It also came with a yummy aioli. The shake was on the sweet side but when you're having it with burgers and fries, it balances the saltiness. All in all, the burger, fries, and shake were a match made in heart attack heaven! Now that I've gotten a taste, I may have to give their CEO burger a try. It's supposed to be made with wagyu beef! So if you are reading this and wondering if you should go for it, I'd ask that you give it a try. First of all, if for whatever your experience is not like mine, it's only one meal; you'll get over it and find a place that'll suit you. But if you try and you like it, you'll have a neighborhood go-to burger spot that you can support during this pandemic that is rocking many restaurants and their workers. It had a lot of open space and a decent amount of seating. It wasn't packed at all when I came around 3pm. Four stars only because the tables and chairs weren't too clean. There were a lot of crumbs all over the place, and cleanliness is always important when you're eating. Napkins, utensils, and condiments are nearly organized and accessible. Food: I ordered the CEO burger. It was pretty good, but I do wish it had a little more truffle aioli taste. You can taste it but it's really faint. The beef patty itself could have had a little more flavor as well. I also got the fries with parm/herb/truffle aioli, and it was pretty good. I was so full from my burger I couldn't really finish the fries. The cost of the burgers are around $8-$10, so on average, a person would end up paying around $15 including drinks or any side orders. Service: The staff are really friendly. They knew it was my first time here, so the cashier offered to answer any of our questions. Good customer service is always a plus. We waited approximately 10minutes for our food on a not so busy afternoon. Overall: Definitely give this place a try if you're around the area. Saw on yelp that this was a new business in the area so me and my wife stopped by on a friday evening. Wasn't too crowded still had a handful of seats available. Ordering is similar to shake shack. They give u a buzzer when your food is ready. They got a cool soda machine where there are so many selection of drinks. We tried their ceo burger, burgerfi cheeseburger, large fries with parm herb garlic aioli and a custard oreo shake. Their burgers were juicy and flavorful. Had me craving more. The portion of fries was huge. A little on the salty side but was good. The oreo shake was better than I expected. My only complaint about the shake was that they need bigger straws because it was hard to suck up the shake. Had to use a spoon. Overall, this was a good addition to the neighborhood. Went to BurgerFi today with my son and his friend...they are burger aficionados and were dying to go here---they were excited to try a new burger place in the neighborhood. The restaurant itself is clean, and the staff was VERY friendly. **IMPORTANT** When you walk up to place your order, the first thing you see is: Fries/onion rings, etc. are cooked in 100% peanut oil. OF COURSE my son's friend has a peanut allergy...but it's not the dangerous kind, so he said he could just have the burger. BurgerFi told me that the burger is NOT cooked with any peanut oil, and they would not brand the bun with the BurgerFi logo because they use the peanut oil to do that. But if you do have a dangerous peanut allergy, this place probably isn't for you. (btw, he was fine with eating just the burger---BurgerFi was very accommodating to make sure there wasn't any peanut oil on his burger. If he had a life-threatening allergy to peanuts though, I probably wound't have stayed and took the chance.) okay....so.... You place your order, then they give you a buzzer and when it goes off you go pick up your food. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, the Burgerfi cheeseburger and the double bacon cheeseburger. We also ordered fries and a milkshake. They also have those soda machines that you can make any type of soda you want. By the way...everything is a la carte....but they do have kids burgers. I didn't think the prices were overly expensive at all. My huge burger was about $6...not crazy. The serving of fries was about $5, but was huge...definitely can share between 2/3 people. We didn't get onion rings, but we saw them and they are huge!!! VERDICT: AMAZINGLY GOOD!! It's hard not to compare BurgerFi to some of the other fast-casual burger joints that are popular in NYC these days. The green logo/decor is reminiscent of Shake Shack. The branded logo on the bun is like Umami. And the thin patties that have to be cooked well done are like Shake Shack and Five Guys. So where they stand out is a few of their burger combinations. The CEO (wagyu/brisket with bacon/tomato jam and truffle aioli) and the breakfast burger being the standouts. The CEO burger was pretty good. Double stacked patties oozing with sweet sauce, bits of bacon, and two slices of Swiss. I'd say better than Shake Shack. Not as good as Umami though. A basic BurgerFi cheeseburger will run you between $7-8. A regular sized fry will cost about $4. The food is made with peanut oil and was delicious! The fries were crispy and the burger was freshly made. The bun also had the BurgerFi logo on it, a cute additional touch. The atmosphere was very much like Shake Shack, but the food tasted very unique and fresh. Order first and you receive a buzzer to let you know your food is ready for you to pick up. If the weather permits, you can enjoy your food outside on the patio. They also had shakes, which I totally want to try next time! Tip: If you are ballin on a budget, the kids meals for only $6.97 are a good size and they also come with a small drink. It's the size of the original burger but with just a single patty.
