I drive by this place everyday. Watched it go from Dairy Queen to this. I have to say, do not be discouraged by the place being set back off the street. It's delicious! Had the family meal for my brood of 4. 3 burger, fries and drinks. With a 4th burger, we walked away paying less that 30 bucks!!!! Now, that's what I'm talking about. Come hungry! All the burgers are big and they come out looking just like the picture so it shows they care about their food. They have a good selection of burgers and fried basket options. I had the pastrami burger and it was so fresh and cooked to perfection. The place is clean and has lot of windows for natural light and also plenty of parking. This is one of my new regular go-to spots. The #14 combo (Pastrami Burger) is bursting with flavor, and my son loves the #12 Combo (bacon double cheeseburger). You get a giant meal for the same price as mc Donald's. Their cheese curds are just as good as Yard House and their ice cream is amazing. I got a banana milk shake last time and loved it. So happy this is by my house. Carmichael needed more good food. I love the staff too. read more

Had driven by this place a couple times and finally decided to stop. Went into the Drive-Thru and got a pastrami burger and a small fry. Food came out in about 5 minutes and it was definitely the hottest food I've ever had at a Drive-Thru. The very nice worker said all food is cooked to order. I should add the burger was legitimately one of the best burgers I've ever had. I'd give the burger an 8.6/10. My youngest had the cheapest burger because they don't have a kid burger. His burger was a little small for the price and cheese was extra. Dining area was clean and pretty routine. I was referred to the Burger shack by a friend and because I live nearby and love me a good burger, I decided to stop in. I ordered a single cheeseburger and onion rings and both were excellent. The burger was reminiscent of the old fashioned burgers from Dairy Queen or Fosters Freeze. It was substantial in size and was fresh. If I were to evaluate my experience at the Burger shack based wholly on the food, I'd give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, my experience of getting the food had a bit to be desired. As I approached the glass doors, I'm confronted with smears and handprints and leftover adhesive from a previous posting. It looked dirty. And, my mind always goes to: it must also be dirty in the kitchen. Then, when I enter the place, my olfactory senses were bowled over with the smell of cleaning chemicals. Maybe ammonia. Not appetizing. At the counter I was greeted by a friendly gentleman and the order was ready in a few minutes. I will definitely be back to the Burger Shack. We just ate at Burger Shack for the first time and are beyond impressed. Everything was fresh, delicious, and very decently priced. We all got single cheeseburgers and a variety of sides (fries, curly fries, onion rings) as well as chicken nuggets for my little one. Everything tasted amazing, even down to the ranch on the side, which they clearly make in house. We got a to go order in the drive thru and the sides were still nice and crispy when we got home. The burger patty fit perfectly to the bun, it's a personal pet peeve of mine when you have waayyy to much bun for the burger you get. No problems with that at Burger Shack!! The service was top notch as well, very nice staff and quick service. They have a family of loyal customers now. We were already making plans for our next visit as we were eating, haha.
