    Mangonada

Yum!!! So good! Came here on a hot day for a sweet treat. Ordered the mangonada. I was expecting more mango but it was a mango sorbet.....which did not disappoint!!!! There were a few pieces of fresh mango on top. Next time I think I'll get their fruit cup or a mix of the two if I can do that. Vegan friendly!!! (Limited) Wow so good yum yum yum can't wait to go back. Only thing is it didn't look like they had a restroom I wanted to wash my hands, but I also didn't ask!! Small dining area with a few tables. Da bomb.com *insert fire emojis*

    Mangonada. All sorbet, no mango

I ordered a mangonada. This was just a big cup of sorbet with chamoy mixed in with a handful of mango pieces on top. I was really looking forward to trying this place and was so disappointed in the end. Got a horchata as well and it was below average tasting. Very underwhelming over all.

Love mangonadas and so far they have the best ones! We ordered and it was ready in five or less minutes and the service was great.

I'm not a huge fruit lover so I decided to get some of their homemade ice cream which was the mint chip and chocolate! The ice cream tasted better than a lot of the shops around, nice and rich with good flavor! My friends also loved their ice cream as well! Definitely coming back soon!

Banana split was the best I've ever had. Very large portion. Pina colada was also good.

For those of you dessert lovers out there, I came across another hidden gem. And this is none other than "Antojitos Locos". This place focuses on Mexican-inspired treats much like what you'd find at a mobile cart but at a much grander scale. Located in a small strip-mall on the corner of Antelope Rd. & Sunrise Blvd. in Citrus Heights, this place has been delivering some amazing sweets since late-2017. I came here with my lady on the afternoon of Monday 9/2/19 at around 12:30pm. There wasn't a single customer inside, however the employees came right out to greet us as soon as we walked in. The interior layout was extremely colorful and inviting. The bright yellow walls with red trim and an even more colorful menu only made this experience more dazzling than it already was. As far as their menu options, they carry a wide assortment of smoothies, coffee beverages, juices, frozen yogurt, milkshakes, ice cream, and fruit bowls. They even had some alternative dessert options such as nachos, waffles, and crepes. Since I am not too familiar with the Mexican desserts, everything here looked amazing as it was a nice change from your typical ice cream/smoothie shop. After glancing their menu, my lady and I finally narrowed it down and decided on their "Bionico" (for $6). This was a fruit bowl (primarily strawberries) complete with sweet crema and topped off with granola, raisins, shredded coconut, and honey. Best of all, if you check-in on your Yelp app, you can receive 20% off your entire order! The two ladies that helped us were very courteous, polite, and genuinely enjoyed what they were doing. After receiving our dessert, the overall taste and flavors absolutely hit the spot. The sweet cream with the chunky fresh bits of fruit and honey tasted almost like a deconstructed parfait. And with the amount of fresh ingredients you receive in one service, it was more than enough to feed two people. Overall, "Antojitos Locos" in Citrus Heights is well worth checking out. My rating, a perfect five stars!

The Best Mangonada up Northern California!!! I have been searching for authentic mangonada made with real mango ice cream. Finally, I found the hidden gem!!

This was a nice spot for a refreshing Mexican fruit bowl. If you hesitated going to the little stands like I do (because I like to see a sink and running water around the people that prepare my food) then this is the place for you. I think the most expensive thing was only $12. Located on Sunrise and Antelope, behind Jack in the Box. As of 7/7/21 there was no indoor dinning. They had a tent outside, but said they couldn't have the table and chairs out because of some issues with the homeless. Don't forget to check in with this app and get 20% off..we forgot :(

Mangonada, milk shake ,horchata, pina colada ,watermelon smoothie

The drinks were super refreshing in the bustling heat of Cali. The atmosphere was friendly as well, and can't wait to revisit.

Let me save you some time…read more.. If they have the dole whip pineapple yogurt available, just know I'm no longer making responsible adult decisions--I'm operating purely off joy and childhood nostalgia. This place is dangerous in the best possible way. OMG Yogurt is one of the only spots around here that has that pineapple dole whip magic that instantly teleports you straight to Disneyland... minus the $27 churro, the 45-minute wait, and a toddler in Lightning McQueen Crocs cutting you in line. I was just out minding my business, cruising around like a peaceful citizen, when I thought, "You know what? It's nice outside... I deserve a little frozen happiness." And boom--next thing you know I'm walking into OMG Yogurt like I'm reporting for duty. First thing I noticed? The place was clean, bright, and dialed in. Staff greeted me right away and asked if I needed anything, which was very sweet... but respectfully, once I saw that dole whip pineapple, I spiritually left my body. I was no longer available for questions. I grabbed my cup and got straight to work. And by "work," I mean I loaded that yogurt up with toppings like I had a personal vendetta against moderation. At that point it stopped being frozen yogurt and became a full-blown architectural project. No notes. No regrets. Just excellence in a cup. This place gets packed during the summer and honestly... good. It should. When the Roseville heat starts acting like it has personal beef with everybody, this is exactly the kind of place you want to end up in. What I really love is that even when it's busy, the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and patient. Nobody is rushing you while you stand there pretending to "carefully choose toppings" when really you've already decided you're about to do too much. In all, this spot is a summer MVP. If you need a little cold happiness, a sugar-fueled mood boost, or just want to pretend you're at Disneyland without refinancing your house... this is the move. That dole whip pineapple yogurt? Absolutely slapped.

So I called my middle daughter who is still enjoying her post college mini vacation and told her to meet me there-We headed to Cafe 86 in Roseville. They are located in a little strip mall on Foothills Blvd and they have ample parking as they share a lot with other businesses. Walking in,it was a cute little shop with many tables and spots to hang out.I was mesmerized more by the vast menu of coffee drinks to choose from. My daughter ended up going with an Iced Sea Salt Coffee($3.00) and I ended up ordering an Iced Caramel Latte($6.50) As far as pastries go we got the Ube Crack Cheesecake ($5.50) The friendly gentleman working the coffee shop was great. He was the only employee and watching him take the time to be so meticulous in his coffee making skills was great. Even after delivering the drinks to us, he still checked on us to make sure we liked the taste of the drinks and if they needed any modifications like more milk or more syrup. Got to admit that was a first for me-most coffee shops just deliver the coffee drinks and that's the last you ever hear from the employees. Now for the drinks-my daughter did not like her drink at all and I knew she wouldn't. She is a 22 year old who was raised on Dutch Bros-style drinks loaded with sugar and syrups. Her drink was basically just straight coffee with some Sea Salt. Now my drink, that's a whole different story. The Iced Caramel Latte was amazeballs-it was so well made-perfect balance of creaminess and sweetness. I really enjoyed my drink-it's actually in the running as one of my Top 3 coffee drinks currently in Sacramento area. I didn't get to try the Ube Cheesecake but my daughter really enjoyed it-she is a pretty big fan of UBE anything. As a topper as we were walking out the great gentleman working the store asked us if we wanted to try another pastry free of charge-he offered us the Turon Pop Tart. I jumped at the opportunity-it tasted like sweet caramelized banana and jackfruit delivered in a flaky pastry-I'm a fan, I really enjoyed it. In closing, this place was a really cute Filipino-inspired dessert shop that makes really great coffees- My daughter enjoyed my drink so much we ended up swapping drinks. I ended up with the Sea Salt Coffee which was very enjoyable for a mature palate. They have great customer service, great coffee drinks and solid pastries-I will be back.

They add the right amount of jelly, boba, Ube ice cream, flan, and the frosted flakes for that crunch. All that and we still didn't think it was too sugary. We've also tried most of their desserts - Ube tres leches, Ube leche flan cupcake, Ube butter bar and the Ube pop tart. I LOVE THEM ALL!!! Overall, this place is dangerous...dangerously good!! There were 3 people in line and one of the employees came out to turn on a second kiosk. The kiosk was taking a while to load and I felt like the employee could have just started taking orders instead of waiting for the kiosk for good customer service instead of keeping people waiting. I guess some businesses just only use kiosks for ordering now. Their menu offers matcha, coffee, and sparkling soda drinks in addition to various flavored sundaes - matcha, ube, banana, strawberry, boba, and coffee. I went with my partner and we ordered the honey sundae to share. The description said it's made with local honey. It came with a piece of honeycomb. The soft serve is made from Hokkaido milk and it is silky and smooth with a subtle sweetness. I prefer Asian desserts since they are not overly sweet and it was not overwhelming sweet. The honey paired well to give it some sweetness without being over the top. The honey flavored sundae was probably the most simple compared to the other sundae flavors but still delicious! The sundae was a big amount and was enough to share between two people! I don't think I could have finished it myself! They don't skimp on the portion size. Overall, I would defintely come back to try more sundae flavors and also I want to try their matcha drinks!
