Convenient location near the bookstore with plenty of parking around. There is limited indoor seating in this corner location, but some tables on two sides of building. And. That is nice s we have a lot of lovely weather most of the year. My favorite is Chocolate Devotion. Good service as my treat was made as soon as I ordered and it was just right.

Chocolate-Dipped Strawberry Ice Cream with Strawberries, Brownie & Red Velvet Cake

Considering that the city of Citrus Heights has a total lack of good ice cream shops (with the exception of Leatherby's), I've always found the ice cream at "Cold Stone Creamery" to be above average. And this location in the heart of Sunrise Marketplace is tucked in between major retailers such as Barnes & Noble and Bath & Body Work. My most recent visit here was during the afternoon of Saturday 1/21/2023 at around 4:55pm. The inside of this store is tiny and only has about two tables inside if you choose to eat inside. There are more outdoor tables which are ideal for those warm Sacramento summer evening. Since the store has new ownership (as of January 2023) with a full staffed crew, I've noticed happier employees, a cleaner store, and an overall better experience. After narrowing down their extensive menu of options, I finally settled with a cup of their "You Had Me at Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries". This blend featured their creamy and delicious "chocolate-dipped strawberry ice cream complete with real chunks of fresh strawberries and mixed with brownie & red velvet cake. I consider this to be the best of both worlds and when you mix it all together, its heaven in your mouth. Even though I came here on a cold 46°F day in late-January, it was still busy with a few people in front of me while a ton of people arrived after me. However, this place is a well-oiled machine as the employees did a fantastic job with taking care of each and every one of us. From the time I arrived until I was handed my cup of ice cream was less than 5 minutes. As far as the taste itself, I was impressed with the creaminess, texture, and overall flavor. They were also very generous on the portion was a bigger scoop than my previous visits. All in all, the Citrus Heights "Cold Stone Creamery" deserves a generous four-star Yelp rating. I am not real big on the chain eateries but this place exceeded my expectations. They offer generous hours of operation being open Sunday through Thursday from 12-9:30pm and Friday/Saturday from 11:30am-10:00pm. And of course a ton of flavors of ice creams, shakes, sundaes, candy apples, cakes, cookies, and brownies. So if you have a sweet tooth, this will take care of that!

Good ice cream. Service was ok, nothing special. The place looks clean and well kept.

Yummmmmmy! Great customer service! Fresh brownies! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The manager wants proof I bought it today. You want photo here it is. I don't want refund. That's a $43 cake, half can't be eaten.

I bought an ice cream cake for my husband's birthday (today) which we do every year to all members of my family. Today, the devil's cake is very dry and stale. It was disappointing having paid $43 just to removed and tossed half of the cake. I called and ask for the manager to informed her. The manager doesn't like the fact I asked how old is she since she began telling me the different kind of cake they made. I don't care what kind of cake it is, I just said the cake is stale. I made it clear I am not asking for refund and I am calling to inform them. Well, this is not the first time they sold me a stale cake but this will be the last time.

Oatmeal Cookie Batter with chocolate chips as my custom topping
Rachelle P.

I like this shop, the staff are helpful, friendly and they fold in your custom mix ins into your frozen yogurt or ice cream on a frozen granite stone right in front of you! I love the Banana Ice Cream with graham crackers and chocolate chips as a chosen topping, as well as their Signature Creations, such as their Chocolate Devotion! On Friday my boyfriend and I came in with a 2 for $6 coupon from the mail for their Like it size that comes with a topping. I went with the Oatmeal Cookie Batter with chocolate chips as my topping of choice, it was good, but next time I'm adding chocolate or caramel syrup for more rich flavor! I would recommend stopping in to try them for yourself, if your not in the mood for a cold treat, they also sell chocolates, dipped marshmallows, caramel apples and more! Plus they have a rewards program you can sign up for deals and freebies!

Awful service. Why were handed melted ice cream? No exaggerating. If you want ice cream you'd have better luck at McDonald's.

Ice cream is great but these teenagers are beyond rude. They don't even respond when you say thank you. Dry dry dry.

First let me start by saying... FROYO!!…read more I'm a big fan of frozen yogurt, and when the flavors and toppings are this stacked, I'm basically a kid in a candy store. Ambiance: 7/10 It's a yogurt shop, so don't expect much in terms of decor... but honestly, that's not what we're here for. The focus is the froyo. They've got some indoor seating along the wall and a small aarea in the back, enough to chill if you're not taking it togo. Service: 5/10 It's a self serve place, so interaction is minimal. Only reason I'm knocking it down is because it took a while for someone to come out from the back when I needed a sample cup. Once I had that, I was good to go. Food: 10/10 I sampled about 6 different flavors (zero shame), and settled on cheesecake and chocolate raspberry truffle....SO good. I went full dessert mode and topped it with cheesecake bites (a must for me), cookie dough bites, brownies, cherries, you get the picture. It was glorious, and I had leftovers for a second round later. Thanks, Yogurtland, for being loaded with options and not skimping on the good stuff. I'll definitely keep coming back for my froyo fix.

3.5 STARS i've been…read moremeaning to try yogurtland since it's such a popular place for froyo. it was set up the same as a typical froyo shop, with plenty of options to choose from - more than most of the local family-owned shops. there was plenty of seating inside when my boyfriend and i went, and it seemed pretty lively in the evening. they offered small cups at the counter to try some samples, and service was what you would expect from the counter. - plain tart (4.5/5): classic tart flavor, like a tangy greek yogurt but sweeter. very yummy! - french vanilla NSA (4/5): very classic vanilla and creamier than the others, which i liked - dutch chocolate (3.5/5): definitely tasted like chocolate, but i didn't like it as much as chocolate froyo from other stores. it just wasn't as creamy as the vanilla, and the texture was almost icy - fresh strawberry (4/5): on the icier end, but i liked the strawberry flavor. it tasted like a strawberry yogurt popsicle! - toasted coconut (4.5/5): i liked the strong coconut flavor and creamier texture. it tasted exactly as expected - cheesecake (3/5): i actually really enjoyed the plain ny cheesecake flavor, but it was just too subtle. i wish it was stronger - rocket pop sorbet (2/5): it did have the same flavors as a rocket pop, but it tasted so much more artificial... and rocket pops are already artificial. the icy texture worked for the sorbet though - alphonso mango tart (4.5/5): the classic tart mixed with mango. i really enjoyed this version of the tart flavor, and the mango came through nicely to sweeten the yogurt. this was probably my favorite flavor! - pumpkin pie (1/5): there was way too much pumpkin spice flavoring, which made it overwhelming. it also tasted very artificial to me yogurtland offered most of the basic topping options, including a variety of fruit, mochi, peanuts, chocolates, candies, cereals, and cookies. they were missing my favorite fruit topping, bananas, and it would've been nice if they offered more peanut butter-related things, like peanut butter chips, although i didn't really mind. there were definitely enough options! overall, i thought yogurtland was alright. the standard and quality was as expected from a chain. i felt like yogurtland's yogurts were on the icier end and i prefer creamier yogurts, so it could also be personal preference. i think that yogurtland is a good, basic, and reliable option for froyo, and i would come here if my local mom-and-pop shop was closed.

Let me save you some time…read more.. If they have the dole whip pineapple yogurt available, just know I'm no longer making responsible adult decisions--I'm operating purely off joy and childhood nostalgia. This place is dangerous in the best possible way. OMG Yogurt is one of the only spots around here that has that pineapple dole whip magic that instantly teleports you straight to Disneyland... minus the $27 churro, the 45-minute wait, and a toddler in Lightning McQueen Crocs cutting you in line. I was just out minding my business, cruising around like a peaceful citizen, when I thought, "You know what? It's nice outside... I deserve a little frozen happiness." And boom--next thing you know I'm walking into OMG Yogurt like I'm reporting for duty. First thing I noticed? The place was clean, bright, and dialed in. Staff greeted me right away and asked if I needed anything, which was very sweet... but respectfully, once I saw that dole whip pineapple, I spiritually left my body. I was no longer available for questions. I grabbed my cup and got straight to work. And by "work," I mean I loaded that yogurt up with toppings like I had a personal vendetta against moderation. At that point it stopped being frozen yogurt and became a full-blown architectural project. No notes. No regrets. Just excellence in a cup. This place gets packed during the summer and honestly... good. It should. When the Roseville heat starts acting like it has personal beef with everybody, this is exactly the kind of place you want to end up in. What I really love is that even when it's busy, the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and patient. Nobody is rushing you while you stand there pretending to "carefully choose toppings" when really you've already decided you're about to do too much. In all, this spot is a summer MVP. If you need a little cold happiness, a sugar-fueled mood boost, or just want to pretend you're at Disneyland without refinancing your house... this is the move. That dole whip pineapple yogurt? Absolutely slapped.

I yelped "vegan dessert" in the area and this spot came up. They only had 1 vegan option tonight…read morebut according to staff they usually have at least 2. I got the pineapple dole whip with carob chips and it was a nice treat. The staff there were really friendly and greeted us the minute we walked in.
