It is so disappointing to leave a negative review about a Starbucks during this time of the year. My family experience at the Starbucks mirror several I see. Impatient baristas who are not in a rush to get orders along, but become defensive when you ask how long your order will take. It's extremely disheartening that the Starbucks brand is not represented at this location because the way that the staff spoke to my parents "You can wait your turn, and we are not rushing to please you" was just so disappointing. I got my cappuccino grande with xtra shots and 2 pumps of vanilla as my name was called to get my drink I asked for stopper . The cup was hot so I asked for a sleeve then this young woman with an attitude says " oh we don't put sleeve for that size you have to ask for it". Are you kidding me ? My drink was almost 8$ and plus tip which I usually do and for a sleeve I got an attitude from this lady???since when Starbucks started doing this or is this their new policy that if you don't buy venti or whatever your drink whether it's hot there will be no sleeves on the cup??? This location at Hazel and Madison next to Del taco ALWAYS dishes out old stale pike hot coffee. Just visited at 1440 hours 4/26/24. The pot was flashing like it was old, but they were trying to tell me they just brewed it. It came out cold. The blonder cashier named em? Or erm? Couldn't read her in handwritten name tag but she had a ton of attitude about having to brew fresh coffee, then was condescending telling me that I should get less cream and it won't be so cold , i was like that doesn't make sense. I got a nitro vanilla sweet cream. And it just wasn't cold. And the cream was a really dark brown color was like water. The coffee didn't seem fresh or smooth like a normal nitro brew. I know it can be made the right way. I've had it really good b4. The service was fast just not correct. read more

This place is usually a great place to meet with others! It's not overly noisy and the music is not overly loud, so you sip coffee and study with a couple of others. The staff is very leads t and kind. They actually gave me a free chocolate chip cpokie once when I was going through the drive through. Amazing customer service and they filled up your drink all the way when you ask for light ice. My fiancée and I stopped by here after our drive back from Lake Tahoe since she was craving her Gva PF drink. I got my Mango dragonfruit which I asked for light ice. I was expecting the drink to not be filled all the way up because at Starbucks in Los Angeles, they try to match the exact level on their measuring cup when ice is added. But at this Starbucks, the workers filled my drink to the too and I really like that. She also had some small talk with us. There was basically nobody inside and there was many parking spots. The baristas don't care about getting your drink right. I ordered a Venti vanilla sweet cream cold brew at the drive through. At first I asked for extra sweet but immediately changed my mind because I decided I wanted to taste the coffee. I was served ONLY sweet cream. Being late for my toddlers birthday party I didn't have time to go back and ask why the barista was having such a horrible morning that they had to take it out on their customers. I swear every single time I order from this location they mess up my order! The customer service here sucks too! disappointing experience ordering at this location yesterday, 7/30 around 7pm. i ordered a pink drink with extra coconut milk in the drive thru (no other cars were present when i ordered) the barista handed me a drink that was obviously not shaken and did not have extra coconut milk. i politely asked for a side cup of coconut milk because i knew the drink would be too sweet, the barista was immediately aggressive and literally argued with me at the window. i was told by the barista that she did in fact put extra coconut milk and essentially told me i was completely in the wrong. me trying to de-escalate the situation, i instead suggested she just add more milk if i was going to be charged for a side cup. she took the drink and disappeared for close to 5 minutes before returning with a drink that was exactly the same color and still not shaken (pictured below). i had to go inside and have the drink completely remade. i'm not sure why such a simple request was so triggering to the barista working the window, and why it caused so much unnecessary stress and friction. if you go to this starbucks, prepare to have to argue with them to get the correct drink. read more

Today 8/11/2020 my boyfriend and I came to your establishment for some coffee and food. Normally I have no issues and receive everything quickly but today was horrible and you have now lost my service. Normally I would not write such a thing, but this needs to be brought to your attention. At 7:48 a placed an order for three hot food items and received them quickly but had also placed an order for a white chocolate mocha and a mocha frappe and a black coffee. Simple order, right? I understand you may get busy since I have worked in the fast food industry before, but this was just terrible. I received my mocha frappe first but by the time I got my two hot drinks it was melted, watery, and unappetizing. When I did get my two hot drinks, I had to ask them again after 20 minutes of waiting when I would receive these drinks, then they seemed more concerned to get them out. Also noted after we left that my hot white mocha drink wasn't even given to me and they gave me a Gr dark roast coffee from someone else's order, I know this because it said item 1 of 1 with no name so it was not supposed to go to me. So that means you have also messed up on another order.  Honestly, this was a very bad experience and I will no longer be a member or come to your location. Make sure that things are not misplaced, such of that of an entire half of someone order because I did not walk out until 8:15 when my order was placed at 7:48am. Please notify your staff and work on these issues. Thank you for your time. I am always so hesitant to go to this location. Seems that my drink is made carelessly everytime. I live a block away and still find myself waiting until I am almost to work in folsom to hit the Starbucks near there even though I like to enjoy my drink on the way to work. The line was short today so i thought I'd give them another try. Huge regret. I ordered a Grande Americano made like a misto with 4 pumps on vanilla. My drink was cold with no foam.
