I have been coming years to this Burger Lounge and my opinion is the same. Super high quality of food at a great price and it includes options for Vegans and Dairy Free Milkshakes. Service is always great even though they are usually pretty slammed. The place has only a few tables inside and out. It is a bit challenging for seating if you are a group of more 4 people since it is limited. Food is always high quality meat, turkey, fish and chicken. We usually have the Turkey Burger, Half and Half Onion Rings and French Fries, Chicken tenders with the best barbeque sauce there is and a Cookies and Cream Milkshake. Seems like it just needs more seasoning, but veggies were fresh. Fries were good but I needed more salt for them. Staff is super friendly and it was clean inside. Booths are spacious. I cannot say enough great things about this place. The vibe here is small town neighborhood but this place hits a home run each time we come here. They have all the standard offerings, shakes and drinks. They have a cod fish sandwich here but I had the lounge burger and it was delicious with a capital'D'! We stopped by this burger lounge towards the end of the night after St. Patrick's day celebrating. The staff was really awesome even though we came close to closing. They never made us feel rushed out and still kept the kitchen open to make us a solid meal. That kind of service goes a long way! The meal was good. I don't love the tallow after taste of the fries (non VG) but with enough ketchup/sauce it's not too bad. Burger Lounge is typically one of my favorite options for burgers, but this location has disappointed in regards to service. TLDR: bad service and bad attitude from employee makes this location not worth it. Good luck with pickup as food gets cold waiting on the counter. I always order online for pick up, as i'm disabled and need quick in-and-out options to avoid standing too long, or having to wait. Recently I placed an order through UberEats at this location. I was nearby and headed to the destination immediately after placing my order. The ETA was 15-20 minutes and I arrived within 10-15. There were two small families, one actively ordering and the other waiting in line. Otherwise no one else was there. We walked directly to the pick up counter (which is there so the employees know to acknowledge pick up orders and hand off ASAP). We were not acknowledged at all. The family ordering needed time to look at the menu, and instead of the person at the register stepping away for two seconds to hand us our order that we could clearly see ready on the counter behind her, she actively avoided eye contact with us and stood there while the family stared at the menu and decided. We patiently waited during this interaction despite our food being ready and plenty of opportunity for it to be handed over to us. When the family finished ordering I went to say "excuse me we are here for pick up" and the girl turned her back to me and walked away to grab printed receipts and line them up on a counter opposite of us. Once again deliberately ignoring us. When she walks back I try again to get her attention and she interrupts me to invite the next people to order. At this point i'm impatient (my body is beginning to hurt) and I am recognizing the active attempts to ignore me. The second family takes a long time to order, once again needing time to look at the menu in which she could have handed us our order. They also had a ton of specifications for their meal. After 15 minutes of waiting and two groups ordering, the girl finally turns to us and without any sort of customer service snaps "what's the name for the order?" I tell her and lo and behold our order WAS the one on the counter behind her getting cold the whole time we waited. Due to our food sitting that extra 15 minutes, when we finally got to eat it was cold. The fries were stale. As a place that is SO expensive, this is an unacceptable way to receive food you pay for. What's the point of having a pick up counter if you still have to essentially wait in line to receive your already prepared food? I've never had issues like this at any other Burger Lounge location, which made this even more disappointing. And as someone who has worked customer service most of my life I am very patient and understanding with employees. However, this felt really disrespectful and disappointing. It's one thing to experience poor service, but it's another for that poor service to impact the quality of food. I submitted a complaint to UberEats who let me know they couldn't do anything and to contact Burger Lounge directly, which I did and still have yet to hear a response. I don't expect employees to be happy and positive and thrilled to be working, but I do believe it's normal to expect attentiveness with pick up orders, especially with such a small location with hardly anyone else there. Aside from that, this area is very busy so good luck with parking (we got lucky). There is seating but it's limited. The restaurant itself is really warm inside and can get crowded as the line is directly in front of the entrance to get inside. My advice: try any other location, this one is clearly not it. read more

Nothing but completely flat, dry and hard overcooked burger patties between tons of lettuce, an anemic tomato with a soggy bun just does not cut it anymore. 2 burgers + fries at $40 is a total ripoff. I have frequented this establishment for many years . This is what you want to feed your body. Every ingredient fresh and made to order. Never disappoints visually and is pure yumm ! It can be on the pricier side but worth it. The establishment is cozy with natural woods but if not your vibe to be in quaint spaces you may opt for take out. But I just tried coming here for the first time in a while now in 2026, and multiple staff members smiled and greeted me, made sure I had everything I needed, and even hooked me up with an extra sauce or two. It has been a really long time since I've been...I think right when they opened. The outside patio is perfect! I went in and ordered the truffle mushroom burger....sooooo good! Delivery by Uber Eats maybe 4-5 times in the last few months - if I call the store and ask them to "do a nice job on mine please with all the sauces I've paid (thousand island and ketchup)", they do a decent job but unless you ask this and complain about the awful order you received last time (when you didn't call), you will get a sloppy flavorless and often sauceless burger. I was just there today at about 2pm at the location downtown, on India Street. There was a dark haired young man angrily and aggressively sweeping the entryway. As he saw I was trying to enter, in a sharp tone he asked if it was for a pickup or in shop dining. During this brief exchange never did he once take a pause from his tantric like sweeping activity or even give me space to enter. I've just very recently moved downtown from Hillcrest, where there is another Burger Lounge. This big difference is there the entire team is quite nice, quite friendly. I dislike the entry service. **Walk up orders are their last priority.** So much it affects the entire experience. Often feel like they are annoyed to serve you. I second the review of online orders taking over the order line. Maybe online is a better experience than "at counter." More like a feedback loop. No one comes in so they order online making the "at counter" experience worse. I get they have minimal seating. But minimal service?? Feel like this is a Covid residual effect. Today I waited at the counter while they took a phone order for about 5 minutes. Went over every detail. Even my little kids started to comment. My son was playing show bear by and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat beforehand. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. The staff is helpful and asked if we had been before. We ordered and got our food fairly quickly. It was quiet when we 1st got in but it got really busy all of a sudden. The chicken tenders were crispy and flavorful and the onion rings were hot and perfectly fried (not greasy either).
