Needed a few extra fries for game day, and who better than Five Guys. Y'all know I love them cajuns! Surprisingly, parking was a breeze today. We left at halftime during the NFL Divisional playoffs so perhaps everyone was still glued to the couch. Luckily for us there was no line when we got inside. We were instantly greeted with those friendly Five Guys vibes, and quickly placed our order for two extra large cajuns. Now I know they don't have XL fries, but if they did, I'd be the first to snag a couple. The 3 workers inside were each working dillegently to push those orders through. The communication and the synergy was easily apparent to my eyes and ears. Way to go y'all. Horrible customer service at this location today. I walked in and asked for a Little Burger combo. The girl asked "Do you want cheese?" "No, but I'd like tomato, oni---", and before I could finish she says "Do you want cheese?" Again and I replied "I said no", she then gives me a palm and says "Alright, don't give me attitude!" and turned her back to me to say something to other staff members. I just look at the others and said "you know what, I'll go someplace else, that is totally unacceptable". And walked out. The service is great from employees. One of their managers is pretty rude. All I wanted was to ask the bathroom code and I got met with an attitude and "what do you want?" (By a manager I'm assuming by the polo shirt she wore and the way she was speaking to employees) The food here is great and comes out fast. The fries are a little soggy but I did come towards the end of the night so maybe they are better when the establishment isn't on the verge of closing. They are everywhere and are a nice little hold over treat when waiting in line and for your food to come out. Sorry City Delicatessen, today you will have to take a back seat to a Five Guys burger. The topping selection is what makes this place any different than the other burger slingers in town. It isn't that they have any groundbreaking or revolutionary toppings but it is that they don't charge any extra for them. I am not talking ketchup, mustard, mayo and toppings like that either. You can add grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, jalapenos, green peppers and A1 Steak Sauce without racking up additional costs. Most places would charge a minimum of $0.50 each for add-ons like this but not at Five Guys. They actually offer many more toppings than that so if you are feeling bold "go all the way" and they will load you up with them all. I need to make a point of not forgetting that this place is here but I will honestly probably forget. Oh well, I will grab some peanuts on the way out. read more

Nice people, but the food it isn't! I placed an order for burger, fry and drink, pretty traditional order. Only caveat was I wanted cheese, light mayonnaise, and tomato only. This is my very first time in a five guys restaurant. I am very disappointed at this establishment. Customer service was separate, but the food not so great. I ordered the bacon burger that cost $13.29 irregular fry, $7.29. Let's start with the burger. It was just a bun, bacon and 2 patties... there was no ketchup no mayonnaise no mustard no lettuce no cheese nothing just plain. And the fries were not good and tasted kind of dry. The total for this meal was $22.17 which I think is very outrageous for burger and a regular fries. Like I said, I'm very disappointed at my very first time at this restaurant or any of the five guys and I will definitely not come back to any other five Guys locations anywhere ever. Always a 10/10 when we come! Clean and fast! Service is friendly especially from Elias his energy is the key to fast food. I could tell the team loves working with him! Service is great, burger is trash. $18 for a combo and the bread is so bad. Like used diaper bad. I drove home (3-5 blocks away) and my bun is basically mashed potatoes. So here I am...desperately trying to enjoy this $18 fast food ...with a fork and knife. Fries are great. Maybe you guys should change the restaurant vibe to "less guys" cuz you're doing too much. This is the best hamburger national chain, the food feels real, I suffer a lot for gut issues but after eating this big monster I still feel fine, so it only shows the quality of the ingredients. The potatoes are fresh and they let you know from where are they coming, also they give you like double the size that fits in the fries container. Five Guys is my lower-cost doordash goto and a favorite for quick meals to pick up when I'm okay getting out of my car. This location has parking spots so it's great for a quick trip. Order on the app and it'll be ready when you get there. I don't feel like the fries at this location are as good as other Five Guys, but maybe I just have bad luck with them. If you haven't tried this - get a grilled cheese and add a patty and your favorite toppings next time you go instead of a cheeseburger. The bread and extra cheese makes it a heavenly experience. It's just a normal Five Guys - there are better local burgers for the same price range (check out The Friendly immediately if you haven't already). He also got a strawberry shake. We shared a large order of Cajun fries. I forgot to take pictures before we started digging in. So, I took pictures of what was left of my man's food after I scarfed mine. One of the most underrated burgers in town. Only negative is that there are not more locations. I first tried this place on a road trip to Grand Canyon and when I found out they had one in San Diego I was stoked. The burgers are made fresh and the fries are the bomb. In San Diego I would rate this place and the Habit as the two best non gourmet burgers in town. The prices are going up though. I paid $22.70 for a burger fries and a drink. Plus I tipped the guy two bucks so it was $24.97 basically $25 bucks for a burger combo. I hope they are paying these guys a decent wage cuz the burgers are fire. Well god damn they were outstanding cheeseburgers! They're like in-N-out sized but "back east" quality. They also let you customize your cheeseburgers without racking up the price. I got grilled jalapeños, onions, bacon, and a whole bunch of other tasty additions. My only gripe is the Kraft cheese. I'm a stinky fancy cheese lover so this is a bit of a heart breaker to me. I had such a delicious experience there 2 nights ago! It was some time after 9 pm, the place was open and every employee was still on duty and in work mode. The gentleman who greeted me at the counter very eloquently yet quickly went through what meant what in the menu and answered all my questions. I thought peanuts on hand was a marvelous idea, although I'm not a fan, others seem to like them and they are keeping the customers alive while the fabulous, made to order patties are grilling. My burger was delish, and very filling. I got "the box" without mayo, mayo is not for burgers in my opinion. It took me some time to get through it and I was impressed with everything. I love Five Guy fries the most and I live about 20 minutes away from this location but its so worth to drive and get them. They are almost always busy with a good size line so I suggest to order online then wait in your car then go in. If not youre going to be waiting a bit for your order. Even when I just order fries in person its still about a 15 min wait. Almost all the times I have ordered they have gotten it right and even with more cajun seasoning so its even better but once they did not and gave me normal fries so I asked for seasoning and they just gave me a cup of it which was even better since I could evenly distribute it. Yeah, its a bit pricey for food but the fries to me are worth it. The burgers are debatable as I prefer In-n-out to them since its also cheaper. But, nobodys cajun fries compare to Five Guys at all.
