We got their rad Cali burger and it was delicious and juicy, but quite greasy. I wonder really consider them smash patties, but they were flavorful and juicy. I also loved the rad sauce and onion! The service was also top notch, really nice staff and were more then accommodating with an allergy.

Worth the wait for a burger. I got the Cali burger. Loaded with toppings and fresh. Smashed well and perfectly cheesy. Going to say it was the onion rings I kept raving about. Perfectly battered and not greasy. The fries are decent. It's grab and go like the rest of the food stalls. Plenty of seats

I was in the mood for a burger so decided to give RAD burger a shot. It was insanely good! So flavorful and delicious. The fries were great too! The beef patty was thin and crispy, the sauce was garlicky, the veggies were crispy and fresh. 10/10!

Best burger in SD hands down!! So good i had to get multiple especially during happy hour

Went here on a busy Saturday and ordered a truffle bacon burger with rad sauce. I ordered this on door dash and went to pick it up. Door dash said it would be about 20min to be ready but it actually took almost 30min. The burger was super good. It was delicious. The bun was very soft and fluffy, it came with 2 smashed patties, lettuce, tomato, rad sauce which tasted like a garlic sauce and grilled onions. It was about $13 without any sides. Great spot and I'll definitely come back for another burger.

This is the one place I go when I'm at liberty station. There are lots of burger choices in Libery station but time this has got to be the best! Best burger happy hour to try! 2-5 pm I love rad burger because it is so fresh and something about their aioli sauce just makes this burger epic to me. The service is pretty fast. So if you're waiting they will text you when your order is ready. Even though the ambiance is in this food hall, it makes it a great item for take away and eat at home or for a lovely picnic in liberty station.

Rad Cali Burger was delicious! I loved the flavor and that it was good sized. I didn't do a combo so I can't speak to the sides. I thought it was simple and quick but wasn't lacking.

There was barely any sauce in this burger. Just a bit at the very top edge. The rest of the burger was so dry and lacking flavor. Didn't get much of the truffle flavor either. Super disappointing.

Excellent Burger and service Ambiance: A buddy of mine to the food market for lunch and we came across RAD Burger. It's located in Liberty station food market which is a great hub for different varieties of food and drinks to where you can enjoy yourself. I'll be honest it wasn't our first choice, but the advertisement of how good the burger looked grabbed our attention, and here I am in writing this review. Parking: Similar to the Lobster review that I've done, it's slim pickings up at the front, unless you arrive prior to the place opening which is around 11 am. If you can't find parking up front then there's plenty of parking on the street and other lots close by. Service: There was one gentleman serving us and he was patient with us due to it being our first time here. There were some hiccups but I'll mention that towards the end of my review. He gave recommendations on what dessert to try and burgers included. I went for the RAD Burger with fries. While my buddy ordered something similar to that. With him being the only one there, he went to the back and we were able to see him prepare our meals which I enjoy watching (because you never know sometimes). Everything that was made was fresh off the grill or the fryer. Food: I ordered the meal for takeout and my job is roughly 15 minutes away. For the burger to be warm and juicy really speaks LEVELS to me. The fries were also good, but due to the hot weather and A/C blasting in the car I wasn't able to eat them at their full potential but that's more on me than anything else. I won't be faulting or taking anything off for the fries. Each bite was delicious and I ended up getting upset due to there wasn't any of my burger left. I guess there's a good upset? Either way, it was delicious and I'll definitely be returning for the same thing or maybe even something else. HICCUP: The worker informed my buddy and me that their fountain drink machine was broken, there was some ice cream missing too and they couldn't do certain desserts like the dreamsicle if I'm not mistaken. The worker did apologize for that and my buddy was patient with them and understood. He did order a shake, not sure what it was though. I enjoyed the meal and I know that I would've enjoyed it more if I had it fresh with dining in. I'll be returning without a doubt! Maybe the fountain machine being down was a sign that I needed to drink more water anyway :) 5/5

Liberty Public Market has seen several burger vendors cycle through this particular stall. RAD Burger is the latest business to set up shop here. Four burgers, two veggie burgers, three breakfast sandwiches, french fries, onion rings, shakes, and malts made up the menu. After you place an order at the service counter, they ask for your phone number so that a text message can be sent when your food is ready for pick-up. I chose the most expensive item which was a double Totally Cali Burger. Two smashed patties, American cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, RAD (cooked) onions, and RAD sauce were the components. About 15 minutes later, a text arrived saying that my burger was ready. The hamburger meat was overcooked for my taste which meant it wasn't as juicy as I had hoped. In hindsight, less would have been more because I think too many ingredients didn't enhance the product. For price and quality, I rated RAD Burger between three and four stars.

A proper SD smashburger!! Get the truffle sauce!!

First off, if you're in San Diego, this should be your only must-visit. I rarely go back to places I've already reviewed, but Hodads is a MUST, non-negotiable!!! The dining room is not fancy and looks like a teenager's bedroom with stickers and license plates adorning the walls. While the burger speaks for itself, whether you get the mini, reg, or double, the patties are thick, juicy, with fresh veggies and a soft, sweet bun to soak up those juices. This goes for the onion rings too, that don't seem to come out of the dryer in a bag. At the end of the day, the service was fast and friendly and carried the ocean vibe a Cali burger joint should have. I even picked up my Hodads T-shirt to probably advertise on my travels! My only question and curiosity is in the fries. I'm not a fan of wedges, and I feel like my last visit, they were thick-seasoned traditional fries. Pros: I got the half-pound burger with fries and it was really good overall. The burger was super juicy, well-cooked, and had that classic hearty, satisfying taste you want from a solid burger spot. The portion size was generous, especially with the half-pound patty, and the fries were a great side to round out the meal. The location in Pacific Beach is also a big plus. It's in a great area with lots going on, so it's easy to grab food and walk around afterward or make it part of a beach day. The overall vibe of the spot feels casual and fitting for PB--nothing overly fancy, just good comfort food done right. Cons: Since it's in a busy beach area, parking and crowds can be a bit of a challenge depending on the time you go. It's more of a casual grab-and-go or quick dine-in spot, so don't expect a sit-down restaurant experience with a lot of space or quiet seating. During peak beach hours, it can also get pretty busy. Verdict: Overall, Rocky's Burgers is a great spot in Pacific Beach if you're craving a juicy, satisfying burger in a fun beachside area. The half-pound burger and fries hit the spot, and it's a solid choice for a casual meal before or after hanging out in PB.
