I know they are known for the burgers so maybe I'll try again but I wasn't impressed AT ALL otherwise.

When I arrived at home, I found myself shrinking at least 2 cups of water to wash out my salt intake. This never happened prior at the Lake Forest location.

The bun was dry as if it was three days old off the sale rack. It was almost a crouton. It had RED onions. I don't like red onions. The girl who took my order didn't say red onions nor did the ingredients list on the counter that she pointed at when I asked what was on a burger. It just said onions. I asked her what the sauce was. She said thousand island. I said just mustard and ketchup. I like mustard. Just not a quarter cup. I couldn't even taste a pickle there was so much. The patty was obviously a generic frozen patty from a supplier. It was also cooked to the point I could repair my boots with it. I wouldn't even haved served this to a dog. IT COST ME $13.50 TO FIND OUT I WOULD RATHER EAT A BURGER FROM THE DEL TACO NEXT DOOR.

Now let's talk about the sandwich. It came to the table and at first glance it looked very small. When I picked it up there was a very generous portion of rib meat inside like a big chunk of rib meat. Huge pickles and a lot of sauce. It was a great sandwich. Do not get me wrong, what I ordered again? Maybe. They don't really have a meal deal that includes fries and a drink so it's sort of all a la carte. Now let's talk about the taste. The fries were perfectly cooked, and the sandwich itself was a solid 10. That being said, I would definitely feel more comfortable paying $12 for this sandwich, as I think 15 is a little exuberant. And you don't really get that many fries for $4.50. I can't imagine what the meal deal would have been, but I'm sure people would absolutely balk at that price. I would have given it a five-star review, but that is way too much for that sandwich. As delicious as it was, I just don't feel right spending that much for a sandwich. If it could be reworked, and the price dropped down I would be all in in a heartbeat. Bottom line? If you've been wanting to try it, I say go ahead. Just be warned that you could be unpleasantly surprised unless you know what the prices are you're getting into.

It had a little off taste to the mix. Not quite sure what it was, but probably wouldn't order it again. Cheeseburger they are perfection. I don't understand why you would eat at a larger hamburger chain style restaurant when you can get a local burger. If that makes sense. Service is super friendly when we arrived. Now parking can be a little tough obviously with the beach proximity and the other shops and restaurants. There is a few public parking lots across the street closer to the crab cooker. But the burger was freshly prepared. It was a good portion and we love the bun and all the toppings and it just really brought back some great memories. We are still local but just haven't been into TK in a while. Ironically, I had a party several years ago and I hired their food truck, which was incredible.

A SHARP PIECE OF PLASTIC IN MY FOOD -- AND MANAGEMENT'S RESPONSE WAS EVEN MORE DISTURBING. I had an absolutely unacceptable experience with BurgerLounge in Orange County tonight. While eating my food, I discovered a piece of plastic with sharp, serrated edges. Let that sink in: I nearly swallowed a potentially dangerous foreign object that could have caused a serious injury. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, rather than expressing concern, taking responsibility, or making any meaningful effort to address the situation, he chose to argue with me about the fact that their restaurant doesn't use knives. I'm not sure what that was supposed to prove. The fact remains that there was a sharp piece of plastic in my food. To make matters worse, the manager directed me to the corporate website instead of taking ownership of the problem. I then contacted another BurgerLounge location in hopes of getting someone who would take a legitimate food safety concern seriously. Unfortunately, that interaction was equally disappointing. Instead of accountability or genuine concern, I encountered another dismissive response. Apparently, passing the buck is the management standard. This isn't about a wrong order, slow service, or someone having a bad night. THIS IS A FOOD SAFETY ISSUE. Customers should be able to eat their meals without worrying about swallowing sharp pieces of foreign material. What concerns me most is the complete lack of accountability from both locations. Neither seemed particularly interested in understanding how this happened, addressing the potential danger, or demonstrating that customer safety matters. I am documenting this incident, preserving the evidence, and pursuing the appropriate channels to address what happened. I am also prepared to pursue legal action to recover any damages and hold the responsible parties accountable. BurgerLounge needs to understand something: directing customers to a corporate website does not make a serious food safety complaint disappear. I expect this matter to be taken seriously. Other customers deserve better, and no one should have to wonder whether their next bite could send them to the emergency room. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

Typically i am not one to complain nor want to hurt anyones business. I was referred to Burger Lounge by a close friend who swore they had the best burgers and fries. My boyfriend live within walking distances so we were stoked to try this place being so close to home. When we walked in around 8 pm on sunday night we placed our order and were told they were out of fries and we could order the onion rings as another option. We were bummed due to hearing they were so good but we settled for the onion rings. I also ordered a small beer to sip on while waiting for our order and by the time it came out i was finished with my beer and my boyfiend went to go order us another beer. The female employee tells him "sorry we are out of that beer now its foam shooting out" When he came back to tell me that i was already irritated listening to all the conversations among the staff about their personal opinions on customer orders, drama, life and making it obviously there was not ONE person working that would have been a manager or higher power due to the unprofessional free for all the staff was displaying. I then went to the counter ( worked as a server for a long time) and said " hi can you change the keg due to the current one being tapped out" she replying with " ummmmm i dont know, sorry ummmm let me go ask someone" not knowing i was able to hear the conversation between her and another staff member the other staff member replied to the girl basically insinuating she didnt feel like it and no. When they came back to the front i told them if i was a secret shopper they would be screwed and they are very lucky i am not. I then went and sat down, and thru my whole meal i was able to hear them all discuss what i had said , and also a couple other side comments. we left so disappointed along with the other customers there that night. RUDE EMPLOYEES THAT DONT WASH THEIR HANDS So it's my first time here and I'm waiting for my Togo food with my ELDERLY grandma. After about 10 mins of waiting for ONE burger and fries Some lady walks up past the line of people at the cash register. Natasha immediately stops handling the food to order this women's food on a separate register and asks her to wait a few minutes.. SHE DID NOT WASH HER HANDS as she returned to handle the food instead of leaving the one burger we ordered on the line to wait for the small fries she packs up the burger in a plastic container removing it from the heat lamps. 5 minutes go back and the small fries are finally done and I watch as the girl packs it up with a new burger that just finished and gives it to the lady who just arrived. I made a comment about how long we have been waiting and she looks me dead in the eyes and shrugs her shoulders. This place IS TO DIE FOR!!!! Burgers grade A +++++ meat. Mouthwatering deliciousness. There's fries always fresh and tasty. Are usually always get the House salad two which is never a disappointment. I love the sauce it's lightly season nothing too heavy. The customer service here is always amazing and they always ask you if you need anything even though I'm waiting for my food. That's what I really love about a business that I always worried about their customers. And all of this soda here is cane sugar which I Absolutely love it makes it more tasty. My spouse usually grabs a beer which they have a great selection of as well for being a little burger restaurant. Overall I definitely will recommend this place to everybody. read more

This Burger joint just opened up where the old Greek Town was located. It replaced Bruxie. I still miss Greek Town. Had the husky burger and a chocolate shake. They were both good. Nothing mind blowing. The bun to burger ratio was a bit much if you don't get the husky burger. So if you are looking for a post-workout meal, definitely get the double. Fries were ok, shake was good too. They should put a napkin holder at each table as well as a bottle of ketchup and salt and pepper. It's annoying when you have to wait for a server to come by every time you need basic condiments. A little step behind the Counter, but I would definitely give it a thumbs up. read more

As I ran errands, I decided to get a quick bite to eat before continuing, and I must say this location let me down again. Customer service is 4 out of 10, and the food was a 0 out of 10. The cook(s) needs retraining. My burger last time was beyond greasy, and this time it was bland, no flavor at all. I wanted to wait and write a review because I give certain places second chances. I am so glad they opened a location near where I live. I had been to the Brentwood location and loved the burger. It is so delicious that you do not need any toppings on the burger - the toppings just puts it over the top. The staff was extremely professional, friendly, and useful. They actually brought additional bottle of sauce - I don;t recall seeing those bottles in the Brentwood location. The location is great with parking literally within 10 yards. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and must say this location and the one in Redondo Beach are my two favorite Ruby's. Highly recommended.

So not only did I have to pay higher price because it was delivery. I had to pay all these fees and you still cheated me out of my taco!
