Of the 3 Burger Kings we visited in both Kaua'i & Oahu, this one rated highest. Everything was hot, generous lettuce & tasty. Thank you

Raw chicken nuggets and they charged me $3.59 for a large soda - what a ridiculous place to eat.

I almost never eat fast food but I was really curious about the impossible whopper so I decided to try it.

After hearing all the buzz and seeing Kenji Burger featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and…read moreDives, we had high expectations--and it absolutely delivered. We started with the Furikake Fries, which were packed with flavor and the perfect way to kick off the meal. For burgers, we ordered the Hapa Burger and the Kenji Burger, and both were outstanding. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were unique, and every bite lived up to the restaurant's reputation. The food was so good that we ended up ordering a Lobster Burrito as a second round just so we could try more of the menu. It was a great decision and did not disappoint. If you're looking for a spot that combines creative island-inspired flavors with high-quality ingredients, Kenji Burger is a must-visit. It definitely lived up to the hype.

The bun was soft and delicious, and the chicken itself was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The coleslaw on it really tied everything together and added a nice crunch and freshness. We also tried the truffle burger, and that one was the standout. It felt a bit more "fancy" than your typical burger, really rich and flavorful with melted cheese, arugula, etc. That one was easily the best item we had. The fries were crispy, golden, and well-seasoned, rounding out the meal nicely.

I visited McDonald's in Kapaʻa, Kauaʻi, Hawaii [4-0771 Kuhio Hwy] on Saturday, 01/24/26, around…read more7:30 AM. I decided to order one of the local favorites: the Portuguese Sausage, Eggs & Rice Platter, priced at $6.69. The breakfast tasted very good, especially the flavorful sausage. The platter was even better after adding a little salt and pepper to the eggs and mixing everything together. The drive-thru line moved at a nice pace, and the food prices were affordable. I also loved spotting roosters roaming the parking lot, which added to the island's charm. Overall, I'm glad I stopped by this McDonald's location in Kapaʻa. I only wish the epic Portuguese Sausage Platter were available at McDonald's locations in other U.S. states. Nevertheless, I appreciated the uniqueness of the food offerings on Kauaʻi.

Mc'y Mutha F'n D's!!! And just like Justin Timberlake's little jingle that made all us all smile... (Heck it even made the Happy Meal Box smile, IYKYK) The lunch that we ordered for our 2 oldest daughters also made their little faces light up with joy when they cracked open their Happy Meals. I mean... Chicken Nuggets, French Fries, Apple Slices, a Drink... And a toy?? You would probably have a smile on your face too. This location isn't vastly different from any other McDonalds you might frequent back on the Mainland, except they do occasionally have some Local/Regional Specialties that would be fun to experience: -Deluxe Breakfast with Portuguese Sausage, SPAM and rice... -Taro filled Pies... -Royal Kona blend Iced Coffee.. -Haupia Pies... And of course, above their front entrance it greets you with the word "Aloha", the salutation of Hello (or Goodbye) in Hawaiian as you walk in the front door. In my opinion, I love how an International Brand like McDonalds strives to maintain its consistent standards of how their food tastes no matter where you are in the world, but allows for small regional nuances to appeal to the local market that you are in. Of course, I like most people like what I like, and no matter where I am at in the world... If I'm going to McDonald's, I'm always going for the Quarter Pounder with Cheese Meal with either a Mr. Pibb or Dr. Pepper and sweet and sour sauce to dip my fries. And after I'm done eating' You know I'm singing.... Ba-Da-Ba-Ba-Bah... I'm Lovin' It!

Tiki Tacos was an absolute winner…read more I went with the Kahuna Fish Taco and the Tiki Fire Pork Taco, and both were fantastic. The pork was so crispy it was basically a bacon taco in disguise, piled with fresh cabbage slaw and a sweet-spicy salsa that had me seriously considering ordering another round. The fish taco was fresh, bright, and exactly what you want from a taco stand a stone's throw from the ocean. The homemade tortillas were the real star of the show. Warm, fresh, and packed with flavor, they elevated everything wrapped inside them. The kids both got quesadillas, and the highest compliment a parent can give is that there wasn't a molecule left on either plate. My wife ordered the tofu tacos and thought they were fine - not great, not terrible. But let's be honest: nobody flies to Hawaii and says, "Take me to the best tofu taco stand on the island." The staff was friendly enough, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the walls were covered in cool artwork and quirky local references that gave the place a ton of personality. If you're in Kapaʻa and craving tacos, put this place on your list. I'd come back in a heartbeat.
