Ordered a corn dog and onion rings from Bubba's Burgers in Kapa'a and it was very delicious! The view from across the street is beautiful as well! Fast service! Highly recommend!

This is the quintessential burger processing mill ......... As you wait in line, it's quite apparent the regulars from the tourists (we're in that group). The staff was somewhat patient with this newbie - I finally got my order placed. It's good that we arrived early, this place can get busy and tables can be scarce. At our table was their chicken notice, see my pic. (BTW, the chickens are regulars and know the drill.) As you can see from my pic, these burgers are really cooked. They're okay. Our fried order was also okay, see my pic. The onion rings were large, as were the french fries - you'll need to salt to taste.

Freak burgers soft bun. Yummy onion rings. Get the banana shake it's delicious. Service was pretty quick. Friendly service can sit inside or outside. Cute signs outside.

Bubba Burgers hit the spot! Burgers are tasty, fries were crisply, and onion rings when huge! Service was snappy! Nothing fancy, just a cool, family and friends place to enjoy great food and company!

Yes! Go here! Service is simple but kind. Food is delicious with no frills and yet unique flavor. Not a greasy burger joint but a very good local burger place worth stopping at.

I was so excited, I forgot my camera was hungry!! LOL

Very Tasty, Our favorite spot lunch so far being on Kaua'i for 5 days already! We will DEFINITELY be back before we head home! Very friendly staff and the restaurant was on smaller side but big considering most places are food trucks! We sat in a booth next to a window with an awesome breeze! Every spot outside was taken - so this place is for a HIT with the locals! The burgers come with basic which is just RIGHT for me. I appreciate that they prefer quality and making sure their customers are happy! Soooo YUMMY!

The best burger on island, local grass-fed beef, fun lively atmosphere with outdoor seating and a view of the ocean! The manager, Ryan, was so nice.

If you come to Kauai then a trip to Bubbas is required. It is just a good basic burger place. You may have to wait but the view is worth it. Enjoy

Food was great. Like a much higher quality five guys burger. No need to add cheese. Meat quality is awesome and local. Add order of frings and eat road side. Loved it.

Great burgers. Attitude is OK, but the food makes up for it. There are places to sit inside and out and it's a great place for good burgers.

Bright colors, outdoor seating, and tropical inspiration added to the menu. Their coffee was SO GOOD. And the dishes we tried were delicious as well. The ambiance really makes this place great and this staff is well trained and great at their jobs. There was a line when we got there and a line when we left, so I would assume that's pretty typical. Expect a rush but enjoy the wait because it's worth it.

No xbloom pour-overs being served, so I settled for pre-made drip. The barista was friendly enough but couldn't tell me anything about the coffees on her own menu -- origin, roast, process, nothing. She recommended a mac nut latte for my partner, which felt less like a recommendation and more like the only thing she was sure of. The drip came out fast and hot. That's the last nice thing I have to say. The latte comes from a second window, where a different employee was actively hostile. Busy morning, so I asked if the drink was mine. She snapped that my name was written on the cup. It was -- facing her. I was apparently supposed to read it through the cup. Here's the real problem: someone clearly put thought into the roasting side of this business, and then handed the entire customer-facing operation to people who received no training whatsoever. Not in the coffee, not in basic hospitality. You can teach someone to smile. You can teach them to answer a question without contempt. Nobody bothered. Average coffee, worse service, priced for people who won't be back anyway -- and given the volume of visitors, that model probably works fine for them. It won't work for me. Kauai has cafés run by people who are genuinely obsessed with what they're doing. Go find one of those. Serious coffee drinkers should walk right past this place.

Popular menu items include ahi katsu 10/10, chili pepper chicken 9/10, and Hawaii's own- loco moco (not a huge fan in general). They offer a variety of other options, including poke, ramen, and sandwiches, with convenient takeout and delivery available. It's definitely a local favorite due to its generous portions, authentic Hawaiian cuisine and friendly service. We ordered the fried chicken and poke combo with wonton chips and the ahi katsu (my absolute fav). The ahi was fried to perfection- crispy on the outside while rare and tender on the inside. The sauce on the katsu was absolutely fire!!! So good! Macaroni salad was creamy and delicious. And the rice was perfect. Obviously, you cannot visit Hawaii without having some of their poke- always fresh and delightfully tasty. The marinade was savory and packed with flavor.

Its right off a main road and you cannot miss it. Parking lot was a bit small, but there was plenty of parking. AMBIANCE: When I went there was plenty of seating. A bit dead, but I also did go pretty early. There were a bunch of decor of older American pop culture like Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, etc. But also Hawaiian themed decor (obviously). SERVICE: You gotta walk up to the front to order. I was approached almost immediately as soon as I walked up to the menu on the screen. The girl working was super friendly and welcoming. I made my order and she gave me a pager for when my food was ready. FOOD: I ordered the chili pepper chicken, which was recommended from the girl at the counter. My friend ordered the ahi katsu. The chili pepper chicken was good! It was crispy and extremely flavorful. It was slightly too salty for my taste, but luckily the rice does help balance it out. Some of the crispness was sacrificed for the sauce, but it was overall still pretty crispy. I loved that they used boneless chicken thigh. I was expecting bones or lots of breading but it actually had a perfect ratio. I wasn't much a fan of the mac salad. It was like a mix of mac and potato salad, but more like a potato salad. I'm not big on potato salad, so that makes sense. My friend's ahi katsu was alright in my opinion. The sauce that's on it was good and enjoyed all the flavors. The tuna was just a bit overcooked to my liking, but idk how else one would make a katsu without overlooking it too much. Maybe bread the fish and freeze it before frying? Idk man, I'm not a chef lol but the tuna would definitely be better if it was less cooked. OVERALL: Honestly, I would still come here again. I still enjoyed the meal and the service was pretty quick. Both items were both worth trying. All the flavors were there and the little things I didn't like were just personal preferences. Its a great place to pick up a lunch plate and enjoy it at the beach.

They were unfortunately out of chicken & pork tamales but we were lucky to try the veggie tamales! We placed a huge order: Jeni Special, 2 ground beef burritos, 2 taco salads, Rollin Ruben, fish & chip's & lastly avocado toast. Everything was delicious! The reason for one star taken off was that the avocado toast was missing eggs & the macaroni salad & the fish & chips came without the tartar sauce (wrong sauce given). Really good food from a food truck. We wouldn't hesitate to go back but we'd double check the accuracy of the order.
