(Sat, 11 May, 6 pm). Ambiance was great...nice instrumental band in a moderate volume that set a nice mood for the decor and surroundings. I should mention that we (party of 2) were the only customers in the restaurant at 6:30pm for dinner.
Service was a complete failure: Jenny was our server: 30 minutes to receive buffalo hot wings for an appetizer (they were out of blue cheese dressing). Dinner was another 90 minutes for a simple curry dish and a fish burger. The fish burger came with onion rings-- the onion rings came out first followed by the fish sandwich. 15 minutes. We raised our concern to the "acting manager" who was not acting very well--rationalized the service as "they are doing the best they can trying to train the cook."
The food was terrible. The hot wings were barely warm and certainly not to a typically safe temp of 165 deg. The curry was cold as was the fish sandwich.
Once we spoke with the "acting manager," the staff became rude and belligerent. In fact, after paying for the meal ($80), and walked out, the waitress, manager, and cook stood in the door staring at us and waving "good bye" as if they might feel better about providing such poor service. In fact, the Happy Hour Wings were listed on the menu at $5 but were charged at $11.95 because the receipt was processed after Happy Hour was finished...go figure, I guess the pricing is based upon when you pay and not when you order!
The table busser, Ariana, was the ONLY person that seemed to care or express concern. Ariana actually made a point to introduce herself and apologize for the poor service, quality of food, and hospitality of her co-workers. read more
