I'd say this location is average. Only reason for 3 out of 5 stars is they had no one at the register. It was all virtual on iPad like screens. When I was able to get ahold of a worker -I asked for a high chair and was told they don't have any. This was a bummer with a 1 1/2 year old. On a positive note there were no problems with the order and food came out fast. read more

These guys were great. Fast and was good. I have had some cheeks bell before but these guys? No

Food fell apart. Smelled like shit in the place. Everything made of flexible paper. Only one kiosk worked. Kept denying my card so I had to pay at the register. read more

The food is DELICIOUS like EVERY Taco Bell. If you go in expecting Taco Bell you'll love it so expect Taco Bell or else you're being dumb. So it was great and be nice and respect the people working and the sanctity of the place. read more

A bummer because we were craving Taco Bell the other night and were left sorely disappointed. Taco Bell isn't cheap either, so after waiting in line for 20 minutes and then spending nearly $30, they forgot to include TWO of our items. They didn't even make it into the bag. Our order was not complicated. We got 3 things each, of the same thing. And somehow they lost 1/3 of our order? I wish we checked the bag before we left. I advise you to do the same. read more

Ordered Taco Bell via UberEats as it was one of the VERY FEW restaurants open after midnight (we JUST landed). The portions were TINY. My friend and I requested for extra chicken in our burritos and there was literally no protein in our meals. The soft taco and chicken quesadilla I got weren't bad though, nice and warm, just wished there was more protein and cheese. Also UberEats order took mad long. read more

What to get: Nothing, but if you have to then the protein bowl is healthy. Unhealthy the Beefy 5 layer Deep dive on dishes: The protein bowl overall has good flavor but the chicken tasted like rubber and had a lot of fat for being "lean". My sister got the beefy 5 layer and she loved it. She is really into the burrito and she said it is the best one she has had. It was the perfect temperature and the flavors blended together well. read more

Ugh, worse Taco Bell ever! 3 workers yelling "restart the timer!" Over and over and then blocking the timer outside the pick up window. But then look in my bag and they didn't give my my spork?!? Stop worrying about your timer AND GET THE CUSTOMERS ORDER CORRECT! How am I suppose to eat my fiesta cheesy potatoes?! So worried about the timer!!! read more

We love going through the drive thru and getting our little taste of Mexico. Quick, cheap and pleasant drive thru workers.

I usually order their taco salad or Nachos Bell Grande. They need to put green onions on their nachos. It looks naked without it and would make it tastier. Service is ok. read more

Rolled up to Taco Bell at 6:55pm and was turned away as we were told that had already closed rudely. Called from the parking lot and was told we could walk (not drive as they had cones) through the drive through but couldn't go inside. We decided to go elsewhere. read more

If you're sitting in the drive through wondering how long you'll be there - figure about 3-4 minutes per car. Yes, despite this company literally making billions of dollars each year, with all the effort made to provide decent food quickly, the service at this location is atrocious. Broken down and dirty. You'll note there's no way to get out of the drive through line once you're in it. You'll also note how there's no lights on inside nor in the parking lot - it looks abandoned. Also you'll scratch your rims on their terrible driveway. It took me 24 minutes to get nachos at 7:25 pm on a Monday. How is this even possible when the only thing you're doing is serving a single drive through line? Corporate Taco Bell needs to pay a visit - this place is an embarrassment. It's always been like this and it likely always will be. Go ANYWHERE else - even the gas station is better. read more

This is a friendly if sleepy T Bell. I'm fine with that. Workers are great! I go there for the usual order or slight variation there of. Dining room always easy to get a seat. This is Kauai, everything's slower. Relax and enjoy your tacos. read more

You can always count on Taco Bell to provide consistent food...even on the islands! Went here after eating a very large lunch and wanted just a little something for dinner. The hubs had his usual, but I had one of their new chicken salads. I was pleasantly surprised as it was really good. I usually have the regular taco salad but wanted to try something different. The drive thru was busy the entire time we were there, but eating inside was a better choice for us...it was hot and humid all day and I really needed the A/C. Not much else to comment on except the trash receptacles said "Mahalo". Seeing that tickled my funny bone...only in Hawaii! read more

Always closed. I've actually never seen a Taco Bell that is never open later than 7pm. Isn't there a whole slogan about having a four meal??

this place should close down. they're NEVER open!!! Says just drive thru is closed but everything is closed always. Put something that is actually in business there please! read more

Excited Kapaa Taco Bell open. Disappointed with service in drive through. Going on 30 min and finally order taken. Sad service.

Waste of like 20 min. Uncaring teen behind counter, head in the clouds. Gets order wrong. The team doesn't even get the wrong order out to us, just ignores us. The pizza hut manager had to ask if we'd been helped. Then she tries to charge me full price of the meal and I had to correct her because she charged us for 2x the drinks. Still feel like she overcharged us so I call two other people who then grab the manager who was literally behind the wall, in ear shot. I ask the manager the correct price for my meal and the teen shoots off the amount. Manager looks dumbfounded and agrees without even putting it in. Yeah ok, lady. You clearly know these exact items + tax off top of your head. Lazy crooks. read more

Out of all the Taco Bells I've been to, this is the worst. There were no available restaurants open past ten. First night in Kauai after my flight and my first meal was here. We came to this location 5/14 around 11pm. I ordered a pork quesadilla, 3 supreme tacos, a potato burrito, and a diet Pepsi. We ordered through the drive through and I asked for fire sauce. The woman said okay. She looked like she hated being there. I asked for regular hot sauce later and she said I already put your fire sauce in the bag. She handed us our order and said "Thank you." I told her... Do you want me to pay? She completely forgot to take my money. She said "oh sorry.. This happened before and the customers just ran away." This shows a huge lack of attention and competence. She also stopped me before I left because they forgot a taco. What really upset me is how they messed up our order. Instead of a pork quesadilla...I get a pork burrito. Instead of supreme tacos...I get regular tacos. Guess what? NO FIRE SAUCE. The food tasted cold and horrible. I called back but they never answered. I'm just disappointed in how simple and easy their job is. Especially since I was the only customer. This person needs to be retrained or fired. She was Asian with long black hair. Management please take notice of how your establishment does not produce quality. I'm sure you can find out who was working that shift on Wednesday, May 14th around 11pm. Sincerely, Pissed off Taco Bell customer. read more

As a Taco Bell fan... I've had some of the best and worst all over. Have to say the tacos at this Taco Bell were some of the best anywhere. Can't believe I saying this about Taco Bell... But they were great! The only reason this location didn't get 5 stars is the poor facilities maintenance. read more

Don't deserve even one star. Terrible service. I show up to pick up my pizza and it takes forever for them to bring it out. When they finally do, they say it's not mine and The lady goes back and doesn't come back out. I wait about 10 minutes and ask the counter help to find out what's happening. Finally I get my pizza and I am happy to leave this horrible customer service behind me. read more

After all of the "Doritos Tacos" commercials, I had to see what the fuss was all about. First off, this Taco Bell does not have the $2 meals that I love, nor does it have the Beefy 5 Layer Burrito. Something I have never understood is why different locations do or don't have the same menu items. They obviously have all of the ingredients necessary since everything they serve is just a different arrangement of no more than ten total items. But such is the way with chains in Hawaii... Secondly, the Doritos Taco costs $1.79. Seriously.... it is just a hard shell taco with the shell infused with the Doritos flavored chemical goodness. But that was the whole reason we came, so I had to get one. Also, they do not put out their sauce packets or plastic forks or anything like that; you have to ask for whatever you want. I guess people here like to steal sauce or something. Everything tasted OK - what you would expect from a Taco Bell. The Doritos Taco was FAR from worth the asking price. If you want to know what it tastes like, then get a hard shell Taco and dump the contents onto a few Doritos. I don't know why I thought it would have tasted any differently. Had they had the $2 meals which come with a small bag of Doritos, I could have made my own with left overs plus gotten a drink for around the same price. The worst part of the experience was one that i always anticipate, am not always afflicted with. We weren't but 30 minutes out of Taco Bell (and 10 minutes into a 2 hour tour of the Coco Palms Resort) when my stomach decided to hit the emergency flush button to "speed up" the overall digestive process. I think you know where I am going with this... read more

Bad experience. I came to order pizza and dealt with Kevin. First he overcharged me so I had to straighten that out. Then he told me that the wait will only be 30-40 minutes and I was waiting for an hour. I still be waiting but I asked another lady to check on it and it was ready. read more

DO NOT ORDER THE PIZZA HUT ONLINE OR VIA PHONE FOR THIS LOCATION!! The call center is not aware that this is a 2 man operation and we ordered and were told 30 mins which ended up being 1.5 hours. There was another guy there that had been waiting 2 hours! It seems like there are plenty of Taco Bell staff members but only 2 Pizza Hut members. The food was piping hot when we finally got it and Kevin was as pleasant as he could be while dealing with the nasty people waiting. read more

This location is disgusting. Photos on other reviews are out of date. Employees at counter had friends in store and the wait was forever while they joked and talked. The girl prepping the food was the only one seeming to do any diligent work, even bringing complete orders to the counter. The only decent part of this process was hot food. read more

Just got back from Taco Bell, & realized they forgot to even give me the drinks for my meals. And I'm not gonna sit back in the traffic to go and get them. No one even bothered to come and wave us down. Usually, drinks are given first after they take the card or money. But no drinks, not even in the end. The cantina bowls that we ordered were supposed to come with the chips and salsa. We were given neither. She read my order back to me and even asked what kind of salsa we wanted with the meals. According to the other reviews on here, it seems the pizza Hut side has better food and less forgetful people. Or maybe it's easier since you call the number and they just send the info. Probably will most likely not be going back. They need to fix the forgetfulness. read more

Many times I have gone to Kapaa Taco Bell. I used to enjoy my visit, but for some time now going there is a nightmare. We wait for a long time to get orders but they are usually wrong. This evening we called our order in and arrived at the time given. We waited almost a half hour and then we inquired about our order only to find it had been sitting in the back the entire time. To top it off it had one item each in a large shopping bag. We always have to wait for orders Why you ask do we go there....because otherwise we have to drive into Lihue. They are not busy inside so why I ask is service so bad. read more

Yes, I am writing a review on a Taco Bell. It has come to this. The service was TERRIBLE. We ordered a pizza and we're told it would be an 8 minute wait by the rude woman in the speaker. We pulled around to wait for the pizza. 10 minutes passed, no pizza, despite 5 other people walking in and out with a pizza. 15 minutes passed, still no pizza. 20 minutes, no pizza. WELL, husband goes inside and the man says, " I don't do pizza's talk to her" points to lady. She doesn't have a clue whats going on. Girl from the window and her get into a little spat because the woman making the pizzas forgets to make the pizzas for the drive-thru customers! So this keeps happening? Geez. Not to mention, she didn't know what the menu was. Not a PH1- PH4. This is the lady in charge of the pizzas.... PS. they offer better deals on pizza if you go inside. You can get a large pizza for a few dollars more than a person pizza. It is not on the menu of the drive-thru. read more

I like taco bell ever once in a while, but the service isn't so grand. Went through the drive thru today and asked her for a cantina bowl meal. Which when I've ordered in the past, has come with a drink, chips, and pico de gallo. I had to order my drink separate, after she read my order back to me. I paid $25 for a crunchwrap meal, a chicken quesadilla meal, a cantina bowl, and a soda. I got home, which is literally a five minute drive away from our house, no fork for my cantina bowl, no chips, no pico de gallo, and the hard tacos were stuck to the wrapper on the bottom. Like the tacos had been sitting for a little bit and the ground beef made the bottom soggy. Barely any chicken in the quesadilla, and barely any sauce. My cantina bowl was much smaller than it used to be, saladwise. Bowl wise, it was still the same size bowl that it came in before and I had to pick out some brown lettuce. I ate most of it, but wish it hadn't had brown lettuce that I had to pick out, and came with chips like it usually does. The only thing they didn't mess up was the drinks and crunchwrap. I think I'll stick to ordering pizza there from now on. read more

Ordered 4 different items with potatoes, they didn't have any!
