This afternoon I went to the McDonald's in Catskill and purchased a filet of fish meal the cost of…read morethe meal was $11 and something . When I ordered the meal I asked for a fresh filet of fish . 2 minutes later my order appeared and I opened the filet of fish pointed out to the supervisor that was there that this was not fresh . How can you tell. First when you look at the filet of fish that's just been cooked it should be golden on top it should not look oily it also should have a certain amount of fluff to it and not be caked down nor should the fish taste crunchy and dense . So, I know that things happen but the first thing that the supervisor said to me is well this just came out of the fryer . Now drink College I worked for McDonald's and I know what the filet efficient supposed to look like and taste like but the most egregious issue here was she didn't even look at the sandwich . She did do is call across to the person on the fire put them on a spot and say didn't you just take this out of the fryer and of course the poor person didn't know whether they were in trouble or not and didn't know what to say . Now, I must admit she offered to make me another sandwich after she had said that it just came out of the fryer and saw the incredulous expression on my face . Her action show complete disrespect for customers and a total disregard for customer service . I'm not certain but if I'm spending 11 plus dollars for a fish fillet sandwich that is almost 30 to 40% smaller than it used to be and ask for a fresh sandwich I expect to get that

It's like a milk tea! I am however giving this spot a one star out of principle behind the food quality I received. In my experience, it's usually the small town fast food spots that's always have the fire ass quality. Where the chicken nuggets are fresh and crisp. That classic salt crispness to the fries. But god damn, both of these tasted hella soggy and like as if it was sat out all night on the counter after a night bender. But this is right after buying it, it tasted just old. Oh well, hopefully they can turn it around here. Didn't even notice the low reviews for this spot on Yelp.

When we got to the campsite, we were missing two 6 pc. nuggets. It had giant pictures of frozen, sugary beverages that reminded me of my childhood coke slurpee addiction. These beverages are called "Frozen Cokes" and "Frozen Fanta" (blue something or other and cherry). Pulverized ice, sugar, flavoring and some kind of color for $2 - any size. I got off the Saugarties exit and drove straight into the drive thru at this McDonalds. Moments later and just over $2 gone (think the tax was 14 cents), I had my "Frozen Coke". My inner child danced and I got back on the road. Then, a little over a week later, I was on my way to NJ and stopped here with my fast-food loving companion to both use the restroom and grab actual fast food. The review on the Big Mac was good and I did eat some of the fries (hot and crispy - the way they're supposed to be). And, of course, I had my frozen coke. So, if you're gonna hit a McDonalds, this one seems to be pretty good.
