Stopped in for a quick bite. Fast efficient fresh. What more can you ask for from a fast food place?

Needed somewhere to eat on my way home from upstate and found this place. It has a single bathroom which was relatively clean. The service was quick as you would expect. It is also pretty convenient not far from highway. The food was good but Mcdonalds is always good. They have Mcdonalds pastries too which I have never seen. Cool spot.

No smiles on display today. Long wait for food that came out lukewarm. Time for owners to step in.

We spent the weekend at the James Newbury Hotel, and on the recommendation of the front desk,…read moredecided to try Patrick Henry's for dinner. We were especially excited to see brick oven pizza on the menu, particularly the Rhode Island pizza, since we grew up eating that style and were looking forward to a little taste of home. The restaurant itself is small, with plenty of outdoor seating and a limited amount of indoor seating. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The service was extremely slow. It took about 15 minutes just to receive our drinks after ordering, and our food took even longer. I ordered the jalapeño watermelon margarita, which was very strong and packed quite a bit of heat. My husband had an IPA draft beer. For dinner, we ordered the Rhode Island pizza and a pepperoni pizza. After taking his first bite, my husband--who is usually the last person to complain about food--looked at me and said, "This is by far the worst pizza I've had in my life." I had to agree. The pizza was incredibly thin, stiff, and lacked the chewy texture that makes a good pizza crust. The crust itself was completely flavorless. Calling it "Rhode Island pizza" was especially disappointing because authentic Rhode Island pizza is typically served on a focaccia-style crust. This was paper-thin and crispy--it honestly felt like eating pizza on a cracker. When our waitress noticed we hadn't eaten much, we tried to politely let her know the pizza wasn't for us. Rather than asking what was wrong or offering any concern, she simply responded, "Our pizza is amazing." Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. To be fair, they were operating with a limited menu due to being understaffed, but that didn't excuse the quality of the food or the lack of responsiveness to customer feedback. We were really hoping for a great meal based on the hotel's recommendation, but this was one of the most disappointing pizza experiences we've had. If you're in the area, we'd recommend looking elsewhere.

I had a smash burger and was impressed by the taste, composition of the Pattie and overall presentation. The wedges were good and cooked right...Not soggy but not burnt and overly crispy. It was as good a burger as most good burger places. Sylvana was a nice server. She apologized for the wait as the manager obviously does not know how to staff but that has nothing to do with her service. She was pleasant, attentive within reason (she was the only one back in the back) and did a good job of getting us our meals. The wait though did get all the place to have one star removed but again that was on the manager...Next time get two servers out there. Ambiance is nice but maybe a table to squeezed in on the patio. Inside had more space and was had a nice old rustic look. Awesome meal, great location but poor managerial decision to understaff on a lunch Prevented this from getting a 5...Still, I would definitely come here again.

This was the first place we came as a giant family of 8 for dinner. It's dog friendly inside and we…read morehad 2 dogs with us. It was hard in the past to find places for all of us but now it's even more difficulty because we still have my extremely picky BIL who has stomach issues, GERD, and a multitude of other issues, and now we have a vegan-ish person who tries to stay vegan but eats cheese, dairy, and eggs. So finding places to satisfy everyone is more complicated. This place met our needs and can meet yours: dog friendly, vegetarian options, and has something for even the pickiest of people. Me and another person got the strip steak, my husband got the Philly cheesesteak, MIL got the wunderbar burger, FIL got salmon burger, the vegan-ish got a veggie burger and one of the salads, which he split with his wife the SIL, and my picky BIL got the chicken sandwich. He freaked out over the sandwich because he wanted to know why it was moist and not dry. His partner and I were like, "You can have fully-cooked, moist chicken. Dry chicken isn't the only cooked option." But he continued to have a meltdown over his perfectly cooked chicken. He did eat it though. Family can drive you nuts sometimes. Anyways, despite the meltdown, I think we were all satisfied with our food. I did find the mashed potato on the steak to be very creamy but everything else on the plate was very good. Steak was cooked medium-rare liked I asked. Overall, the place is very good, excellent food, excellent service, and it was a busy night.

Wedges were crispy and hit the spot. The burger was just ok not much flavor unfortunately. The chicken sandwich was similar. No sauce just seemed like baked chicken between buns--very dry. Fries were ok. It was busy, so a popular spot, perhaps we just didn't hit the jackpot on this night.

I think the menu has expanded. There were salads that I could have ordered but when I read the description of their Rodeo Burger, I just had to have one: local beef with huge onion rings. provolone cheese, BBQ sauce and thick Applewood smoked bacon strips on a brioche bun. Wow. It was divine. It cost about $13 which might be a little steep for most burgers but this one was far from ordinary. The same goes for their boozy milk shakes which run about $10. I picked the "Top of the Mornin' ," which consisted of Colombian Coffee Ice Cream, Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, Irish Cream, iced coffee, whipped cream and fudge. That was every bit as amazing as the burger. However, I only drank half of my shake and gave the rest to my friend because I had to make sure I could drive home. We were both fine. Service was very good. I think it only took about 10-15 minutes to fill our orders. That's pretty remarkable when you see what's involved. It's a family-run operation and everyone there is nice including the young woman who took our order. The farm themed restaurant was very busy when we stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. It was too late for lunch and too early for dinner but plenty of customers were apparently in sync with our schedule. There've been some upgrades to the decor since I last visited a few years ago. It seems they've added a fireplace at one end of the restaurant and a large farm themed play area for kids on the opposite end. There's even a taproom. It's a clean, cozy, family-friendly eatery that serves up farm fresh food. I didn't realize that Del's has another location in Rhinebeck and a family dairy farm in Red Hook. Perhaps my roadtrips will take me there someday.

So I stopped in and they have delicious burgers and shakes. Tonight I tried the rodeo burger with fries. It was a smash burger on a brioche bun with Swiss cheese, onion ring, and BBQ sauce. Served with fries and a small vanilla shake. Now their ice cream is fresh. The milk comes from the dairy farm across the street. Also they serve craft beer from Hudson's Upper Depot. This is definately a spot in Columbia county everyone should try.

First off you can order both outside at the single serve window or inside if people just read the signs instead of complaining. We ordered inside as I had a few menu questions never being there before. We ordered a Mamas Boy Burger, Jersey boy burger, grilled cheese, and tots. We also order two mills shakes the German chocolate cake and black cherry. I made the mistake of ordering two Patti's on my Mamas Boy and oh man it was huge! A single patty is more than filling as the burger patty is easily twice the size of the bun! The jersey boy burger was just as huge and delicious to the point my boyfriend said oh you won't like it simply because he didn't want to give me a single bite lol. The tots were so crisp and well seasoned a must try if you still have room after eating a giant burger! Yes the burgers are a little greasy but that is normal and still edible. We also ordered a grilled cheese which was the only disappoint of the meal for $7 as it was not melted at all on the Inside only crisp bread on the outside. I would've had said something to the staff however my boyfriend just wanted to go home and said he would remelt it there. When ordering our milkshakes the staff were extremely helpful and patient. Highly recommend the German chocolate cake as it was amazing. The black cherry with their hard ice cream was delicious as well. Our whole meal was a little over $40 for a late lunch and well worth the price.
