No smiles on display today. Long wait for food that came out lukewarm. Time for owners to step in.

I don't go to fast food places often, but today I stopped at the Catskill McDonalds for a filet of fish meal. As others have said the place is clean and the gentlemen who took my order for a fresh filet of fish meal was very polite. He took nt $11+ and i began to wait for my order. In my youth worked for McDonalds. To cook a filet of fish takes about 3 minutes After that they have to merge it with the bread sauce etc. Two minutes into my wait out comes my order. Doing the math I knew this could not be fresh so I opened the filet box . First the filet of fish is at least 30-40% smaller than it used to be, Second when i looked at mine it had an oily flat look rather than the crisp look a filet should have and when i bit into it you rather than being soft it was hard. This did not bother me. It is possible that the preparers did not receieved my request for a fresh sandwhich. So , I went back to the desk and explained to the woman in the red shirt that I had requested a fresh sandwhich while showing her the sandwhich I had been served . She then proceeded to tell me that the order I received had just come out of the fryer and had the audacity to call the young lady manning the fryers to confirm her statement. The poor girl did not know what to say and only after seeing the look on my face did she offer to prepare a new sandwhich, At that point I was afraid I was going to say something I shouldn't so I walked out. In my opinion, the sin here is that this person in a supervisory position lied to me and tried to bring in another person on her lie. treated me as some sort of ignorant person and i had no pride in the product or image of the company she worked for, This was not customer service This was customer disrespect.. read more

Solid three. Upside: place was clean. Employees were friendly and helped customers with orders. Food was hot and as expected. I would say this McDonald's is doing a good job. I would stop here again and I would recommend them to others as well. Side note. The young lady at the register took extra time and effort to ensure customers were properly attended to. read more

Needed somewhere to eat on my way home from upstate and found this place. It has a single bathroom which was relatively clean. The service was quick as you would expect. It is also pretty convenient not far from highway. The food was good but Mcdonalds is always good. They have Mcdonalds pastries too which I have never seen. Cool spot. read more

So today is Mother's Day! Happy Mother's Day to all the good moms. Moms rock! Back to this place. My son ran there today to get his mom (my wife) a bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit. He bought 3,one for me,his mom and his buddy. All 3 were hard as a brick on the bottoms! Not crispy,Hard!! Horrible. I think the big boys from the corporation need to go there and train these people. This place is awful. Sadly, I have eaten way too many Sausage McMuffin with Egg sandwiches in my life, and I know how they should taste. There is something wrong with the flavor of the one here, as if they're not using the same ingredients as other McDonald's. I drive 30 minutes out of my way to go to the McDonald's in Catskill to avoid this place. The people of Coxsackie have been cheated out of one of life's guilty pleasures. read more

Just got our $40 in breakfast food home to New Baltimore. And once again, they cannot get the order right!! Forgetting the cheese is a major flaw when there's only 3 components to the sandwich. I hope they don't think they should get $15 hr when they can't count or get the right intend on the food! Totally think the manager should be fired!! Look, they got a whooping 2 stars. read more

Ehh, it's McDonald's. Sometimes they get the order right, sometimes its wrong. Food is fresh 85% of the time, on occasion you get something old and cold. Truthfully not the best service at a McDonald's but its the only one close by, so It'll have to do in a pinch. read more

This is definitely one of the worst McDonald's possible. Most of the employees here are rude disrespectful high schoolers or college students with absolutely NO work ethic. You go in there the restaurant is incredibly dirty, the girl at the counter has a nasty attitude while the kitchen staff just stand around chit chatting the whole time taking forever or they just hand you stale food that's been under a heat lamp all day and that can potentially cause food poisoning. They don't even have half of what's on the menu here. You go through the drive thru you'll be sitting there even longer to the point where the line goes out to the road and cars speed out of there in a rage due to the wait being ridiculously long. The fat girl that works in the drive thru will just hand you random food so orders are always wrong. This place needs a new manager, they need to get rid of the lazy nasty kids that "work" here and are on whatever drug of choice they're one and hire people that actually work and have decent attitudes and they need to clean up. This place used to be a good McDonald's but has really gone downhill. Went there for breakfast a couple of weeks ago and the Egg McMuffin was so old the English muffin was rock hard. The hashbrowns were cold. Giving it the benefit of the doubt I went again today for lunch. Fresh cheese, lettuce and sauce on the Big Mac but the beef patties were cold and tasted like they had been sitting out for a long time. Couldn't eat either meal. Big disappointment. read more

This McDonald's is pretty new! The staff is lazy! They cant even keep stuff stocked because "running to the out door freezer is a lot of work" -Cynthia (manager) Didn't even have Soda! Wasn't substituting! Told my next entire order would be promoed again the managers words! Then I get there a few days later place my order for my family of 6. And was told I only get 1 free meal voucher!? We were all effected by our last visit! Not just 1 of us! And the place is disgusting! The floor looked like it hadn't been swept or cleaned in a few day! While we were there, there was another lady complaining at the counter while trying to order and another customer after hearing me complain to the kid who rang me out who also over charged me said it took him 20 min to try and place an order! This was on 9/20/18. We went there for my sons birthday! I refused my 1 free voucher. And waiting to hear back from the regional manager or owner. I know what I was told. I would of never of embarrassed myself by ordering for my whole family if I was told I only get 1 free meal voucher!!! That visit was so horrible I never would spend another dime there!
