Food is ridiculous!! I ordered a chicken wrap the tortillas completely ripped this is just ridiculous

Double Whopper. Next time I'm gonna pay the extra 70¢ for cheese and 20¢ for extra lettuce & tomatoes to make this a fat Whopper.
    Chris B.

When I'm feeling uninspired and getting crushed by the weight of life's monotony, this is where I want to be...eating a worn-out Double Whopper drained from fiercely battling in the fast food wars just to win $3 from my soft, fair-skinned hand. The backdrop of this monotonous crusade? The lobby of your local Walmart. 【QUICK TIPS】 # Best to eat here only when you're shopping at this Walmart, have no energy to find better food, and you see a great deal that you like on the BK app. Never pay full price for BK. Ever. # It's very worth it to pay the extra $0.10 each for extra lettuce and tomatoes so you get a denser, somewhat healthier Whopper. Extra pickles and onions are free. I prefer to get my pickles on the side. A single slice of cheese is $0.70, which is steep, but I'll let you make the call on adding that to your Whopper. 【end QUICK TIPS】 There's something peculiar about hearing the repetitiveness of workers assembling fast food into crinkling wrappers and unintelligible grunts from zombie consumers set against Walmart's fluorescent sky. I can't put my finger on it -- something along the lines of low prices and great deals. But regardless, Burger King is in my top 3 of worst fast food burger brands I've experienced in my life. I've only returned upon hearing the messenger proclaim that the BK app had great deals abound. So I've returned after 15 years of self-exile to buy a $3 Double Whopper with this app deal. I like deals...and with that considered, Burger King is now in my top 5 worst burger places -- a great improvement! The Whopper's presentation got better and it actually looks big present-day compared to the beef salad pancake it once was in its bygone days. The Whopper's taste was very familiar with its garden salad flavor and springy beef patties. It's a flavor and texture that's not worth a special journey for. It's only worth it when you don't have the will to live long enough to pick up better takeout, you forgot to buy toilet paper, and you have an awesome deal in the BK app. If all 3 conditions aren't met, you will only have a 2-star experience. With all 3 conditions met, I guarantee you'll have the 3-star experience that I know you're desperately seeking when life pummels you down into the beef salad pancake BK was once. The king of burgers is not a real king. He's a feudal lord of his cardboard castle who serves his real king, Walmart Corporation, within the plot of retail space allotted to him by his master.

    Impossible Whopper
    Tim P.

Was extremely anxious to try the well-reviewed (so called "game changing") impossible whopper. Umm... it was fine but probably won't search for and intentionally plan a trip to have the impossible burger again as I like the veggie burgers at Habit Burger and Red Robin much better.

I like what you're doing with your marketing STRATE-GERY. McDonalds is dropping the ball on pricing so I appreciate the app and the deals. Okay I get McDs is trying to pay a living wage ( aren't they?) but I'm also trying to wage a living by eating there. Wait is this review supposed to be about the King? Sooo yeah, put alllll the meats on a cute little croisanwich then multiply it times two and then pro create some meat babies and add some adorable crispy baby tater tots and wave a magic wand so it's ONLY SEVEN DOLLARS ON THE APP and... ...Sorry McDonald's we gon' have to see other ppl baby.

Ordered a fish sandwich and got a chicken sandwich when I came home. So now only was it a waste of money and food and my time.

I've never actually dined at the restaurant, so we decided to go and give it a try. They are located in the Placentia Town Center right next to CVS, with plenty of parking available. They have a good sized dining area with a mix of tables and booths. They also have a bar area with four big screens against the wall, and a few other TVs throughout the dining area. They also have a small outdoor patio in front of the restaurant. We sat in a comfy booth across from the bar, and it was a nice surprise that they had a college hockey championship game and the Olympics on. They have a good selection of beer taps. I ordered a pint of the Firestone Orange Hefeweizen ($9.50), and my friend had the Stereo Robot Red Ale ($9.50) and were both great. The glasses looked nice with the Craftsman logo on them. They also have a good wine list with some great selections like Belle Glos and Doau. The drink menu also has a nice selection of over a dozen cocktails. They have a big selection of around two dozen signature wood fired pizzas available in 10" or 14" sizes. We decided to keep it simple and share a 14" The Graduate (pepperoni, sausage, ham, red onions, roasted peppers, olives, and mozzarella ($22.75). The pizza came out timely, and is served on a raised stand. The crust had a nice thin to medium thickness and held the toppings well. It had a good amount of toppings and was delicious. This was the perfect size for two people, and we were both stuffed when it was all gone. In addition to a big list of interesting pizzas, they also have a big selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, and salads. Our server Mikayla was very friendly, and checked on us often. The pizza, beer, and service were all great. A very filling pizza and two pints for $45 before tip is a great deal. They have a happy hour weekdays, and drink specials Monday through Thursday. We will definitely return soon.

For some reason the refinery spend their 40 minutes cooking the hell out of my burger, and they could even put the tooth pick in the middle of my burger, like is it that hard to stab my burger in the middle. I honestly don't know how The Refinery inside the Hilton in Brea manages to stay open. This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. First off, the place looks nice when you walk in, but that's where the positives end. The service was painfully slow -- not the "busy restaurant" kind of slow, but the "did anyone remember we're here?" kind. We waited forever just to get water, and it somehow took even longer for the food. Then the food actually showed up... and wow. Bland, overpriced, and somehow still cold. It tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp since last week. For a restaurant attached to a Hilton, I expected at least basic quality, but this felt like cafeteria food with steakhouse prices. To make things worse, the staff acted like helping customers was a huge inconvenience. No check-ins, no refills, no effort. Just vibes of "please eat and leave." Between the slow service, disappointing food, and ridiculous prices, this place feels like a tourist trap hiding in a hotel lobby. Save your money and eat literally anywhere else in Brea. Even a gas station snack run would be a better experience.
