It only took a quick 10 minutes to receive our entire order, which was 3 burgers, a crispy fried chicken sandwich, loaded fries, and 2 milkshakes! I was very happy with how efficient the service was and the most important part, how delicious every bite was! The smashburgers are made with 100% halal beef and they come out HOT with perfectly crispy edges on the patties and a juicy center. We ordered 3 burgers and each of them stood out in their own way. You can get a single, double, or triple patty burger and add whatever toppings to it too. The jalapeño burger was the star of the show, it had a such a nice and spicy kick to it. I wasn't expecting much but this burger had HEAT! Another favorite was the Juicy Lucy. It was packed with grilled onions and the patty was stuffed with cheddar cheese. A super messy and cheesy option that was definitely worth every bite! I liked that Jon's Joint offered other options too such as loaded fries and fried chicken sandwiches. What I found unique is that for the loaded fries, you can get it with falafel and make it spicy! This time, they had run out of the falafel so I am excited to try it next time. If you're in Arlington and craving a casual burger spot, you need to go to Jon's Joint. You'll get quick service and a delicious meal!

I used inkind to pay since they're on the app, so I get an additional 20% cashback. Everything was so delicious. The sandwich was bigger than I thought it was going to be from other people's pictures. The bread was so soft and a little sweet, almost like a Hawaiian roll. The short rib inside was like pulled short rib and super tender. The mashed avocado added an element of creaminess and the arugula cut the fattiness perfectly. Solid!! And the waffle fries were just like the ones I had growing up in NYC - I have been LOOKING for waffle fries like these everywhere. I'm so happy now that I've found them!! Also I think it was the owner who helped me, but she was sooooo sweet. Offered us cups of water and everything as we waited for our orders to be prepared. Can't wait to return and try more sandwiches, fried Oreos, and cocktails all of which sounds really tasty as well!!

Well seasoned with a good crunch. The steak and cheese for me was a mixed bag...I saw my food coming and was dumbfounded by how big the bread was, and I didn't see any meat popping out. Pulled the sandwich open and saw what little meat I got. For $12.95, I feel a little ripped off. Especially when places like The Broiler and George's Steak and Things offer similar prices with an astoundingly higher meat in the meat to bread ratio. What little of the meat was available was delicious. I wish I had gotten a sub-$13 worth, not barely $7.65. Not sure I could come back. With how much I paid, it felt like a diminished return. And if I did come back, I'd hope the other offerings, like the breakfast sandwich, burger, and pulled pork, offer a better meat-to-bread ratio.

I was surprised by how empty it was for a holiday evening, actually just as strange by how vacant and empty the whole area was. This used to be a very busy area. I started with a White Russian milkshake and it was quite good. Again, that happy hour pricing really made it worth it. My meal was the chicken and biscuits. Large biscuits, fresh, with a little honey and hot drizzle. The hash browns were a tad dry and didn't quite fit the meal I thought, but the chicken biscuits were good. Enjoyed those. BUT one point that was quite annoying: THE GRAVY COST EXTRA! The server tried to upsell me with the sausage gravy (+$3) but when I asked if that cost extra he demurred and said it was just something they asked. He wouldn't actually confirm that. Not cool. I don't like being upsold like it's McDonalds. Eating off my friend's plate I also liked the french fries that came with his steak and cheese sandwich. We also had the cornbread appetizer. Again, if not for that happy hour pricing.. Cornbread is uber cheap so getting four fingers of cornbread felt.. well.. not quite a value match. Service was a little hit or miss. We had a lot of people helping us it seemed, kind of a divided table. Everything is there but I'm just not used to the inflation pricing. Milkshake, cornbread, and the chicken and biscuits, with 20% tip, came out to over $40. This kind of food, at this level of service, .. I feel like I was overcharged or not given the happy hour pricing on something. This just didn't feel like $40 for one person. And they want to do everything on the machine and you don't actually get a paper receipt or a bill unless you ask for one. Which you should. I guess bottom line: Ted's is expensive for it's class and offerings, so it makes a good date spot, but for regular eating out I think there are places better priced.

Five Stars - Outstanding Food, Exceptional Service, and an Unforgettable Experience!…read more We recently visited The Salt Line Oyster + Ale Restaurant to celebrate my little sister's birthday, and I must say, they did not disappoint! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. Let's start with the food--AMAZING! Our table enjoyed the Pimento Crab Dip, Stuffies, Fried Calamari, Smash Burger, Waterman's Platter, Seared Scallops, and Portuguese Stew. Every dish was delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. It was clear that the kitchen takes great pride in what it serves. But as wonderful as the food was, the service was even better! Our server, Chante, took exceptional care of us throughout the evening. Her professionalism, warmth, attentiveness, and genuine commitment to ensuring we had a wonderful experience truly stood out. The rest of the staff was equally welcoming and attentive, making our family celebration even more special. What impressed me even more was meeting General Manager Matthew Joseph. His personal engagement and attention to detail reinforced something I have always believed: exceptional customer service doesn't happen by accident--it starts with leadership and a culture of excellence. Matthew and his team clearly understand that. As a former senior executive and business owner, I especially appreciate organizations where leadership, teamwork, and outstanding customer service come together to create a memorable experience. The Salt Line delivered on all three! Thank you, Chante, Matthew, and the entire Salt Line team, for helping make my little sister's birthday celebration so special. You have certainly earned our loyalty. The Salt Line will become one of our go-to destinations for entertaining family, friends, and business associates. Five stars without hesitation! We look forward to returning soon!

So, I ordered the regular Arctic char from the regular menu and my friend ordered the special menu for restaurant week. His gazpacho was the best I ever tasted! I believe it even had chunks of shrimp in it with scallions on top that added a nice crunch. Sadly, it's not on the regular menu. He too got the Arctic Char for his entree. The Arctic Char was delicious and the grains underneath with vegetables was yummy. There were small dollops of a wonderful mayonnaise type sauce that was perfect! I would definitely order that again. (The Arctic chart that came with the restaurant week menu was clearly smaller than my regular menu item. This is why I don't care for restaurant week. This is not a slight against the restaurant, all restaurants do this.) I asked for bread and they brought out some yummy Parker rolls baked in a little skillet with old bay butter. They were piping hot and just perfectly fluffy on the inside. They charge six dollars for it. This is a minor issue-- I probably wouldn't charge more than five dollars. Most restaurants don't offer bread at all anymore and if they do--they charge. They really should mention that they charge for the bread when customers asked for it. My friend chose strawberry ice cream for his dessert included in the restaurant week menu. It was just okay, but what can you expect? It was just ice cream. I ordered a wonderful special bourbon old-fashioned--it was delicious. He got a beer which was quite pricey at $13 for a beer. That seems a bit high. We had a wonderful waitress. Her name is Chante. She was delightful and added to our great experience. We sat outside under the cover because it was such a beautiful night we wanted to eat outside. The bar was really hopping and loud. The restaurant decor is very cute with a French bistro style. This restaurant is close to the Ballston Mall. If you can't find street parking, which is usually tight, just go into the mall garage. I will definitely be going back.

I knew it was a good option for watching the game, but I didn't realize everybody else knew too . Since my last visit years ago, they have switched to QR code orders -- unless you are sitting at the bar I'm guessing. As I said, the place was absolutely full, but there was never a long wait time between ordering and receiving food and drinks. They had a fun 20 wing platter for $25.99 with some unique flavors representing different countries... USA (Buffalo Garlic), Spain (pollo asado), South Korea (SPICY), and Mexico (Creamy Cilantro)... Everyone had a great time and I forgot how fun it is. But my special someone is a 5 minute walk away, so I ought to be returning more regularly :). Oh, the only thing was that we had to ask for water and it wasn't brought otherwise. It was a hot day, and there were 6 of us, so we needed a lot of water haha. I've never been charged that much for party wings, even at upscale restaurants. When my wings were sat down in a tiny bowl, I was livid.....I felt like it was highway robbery and definitely not worth the price. The only cool thing about this place was the free Photo Booth I noticed when leaving. It was free to take videos and pictures then send to your phone via text messages. I wouldn't recommend the food or drinks here because the price gouging is insane and there are way better places to eat and drink in the area. Also, there wasn't a Dj present because I kept hearing the same songs being played as if there was a playlist being played from a device of some sort. On a good note --the restrooms were pretty clean and they have board games to play on the first level where you enter at. It was ok, but I highly doubt I'd return.

Now before anyone judges me... yes, I ordered the turkey burger. As my fellow turkey burger lovers know they can be very hit or miss. Too often they end up dry, bland, and tasting like seasoned cardboard. Thankfully that was not the case here. The turkey patty was juicy, flavorful and very well seasoned. One thing I really appreciated was the variety of toppings available. Whether you're a traditional burger fan or someone who likes to load up on extras there's something for everyone. We also shared an order of fries and onion rings. Maybe it's because I haven't had onion rings in a while but they were especially good. Dipping them into the side of AAB Sauce which I think is their take on a Big Mac-style sauce took them to another level. Very tasty! Overall, we had a great lunch experience and left happy, full, and ready to tackle the rest of the workday. I'll definitely be back the next time a burger craving hits.
