Double cheese burger with bacon and fried egg.

Food Amazing came on Sunday and had to return on Monday after work Banging best Burger Joint in the DMV.

Great, but attention to detail was lacking. I ordered a bacon blue cheese burger, chicken sandwich, and regular burger, three orders of fries, two drinks, and a milkshake for $65. So yes, it's expensive, and the quality is normally great, but this time, the quality control was off. The shake is not worth $6, and the ketchup, even after being told it was empty, wasn't changed. The real issue was the chicken sandwich, which was ordered specially for my son, who is allergic to dairy (he had a liver transplant due to allergies). We even got the gluten-free bun because it does not have dairy in the bread. The chicken sandwich arrived with blue cheese cross-contaminated. I'm lucky I spotted the error in time. Second, my blue cheese burger was made with red onion despite not being on the order or added. They eventually remade the food, and it was tasty. However, having to wait for so long and the lack of attention to detail made this visit just okay. I know they can and will do better next time.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this spot was! I got one of their regular cheeseburgers and it was really good. I did a pick up order but the inside was clean and there's tons of seating. The burger 9/10 - meaty and delicious also filling The string fries - they weren't super skinny but still very delicious 8/10 The service was good, my food was ready on time. Overall, great lunch spot! I'll definitely be going back. Also, the prices aren't too crazy depending on the type of burger you order.

    Loaded Moo Fries

Like some of the other Yelp reviews have mentioned, cheaper and better than Shake Shack. My friends and I stopped by Basic Burger for lunch this past Sunday afternoon. Initially, I was surprised we chose a burger place because we never eat burgers usually, but I'm glad I was able to try it out! BASIC CHEESEBURGER - 8.69 The brioche bun looked perfect without much ripples or winkles. It was also a tad shiny and the burger itself was neatly stacked. The beef patty was perfectly cooked, and all the toppings (lettuce, tomato and onion) were your basic (haha) essentials that were fresh and pleasant. Overall, tasty burger and definitely on the cleaner and healthier side for a burger. It was good, but nothing to rave about. LOADED MOO FRIES - 8.15 These were a lot, drenched in sauce and loads of toppings like bacon, Parmesan and green onions. A lot of the fries didn't really touch the sauce, but they were still soggier than I expected. Overall, pretty good, but I wouldn't get this again. The fried egg definitely made it a lot better, though.

Fried Crispy Cod Fish Sandwich and Side Caesar Salad

Enjoyed a cod sandwich with cheese and side Caesar salad. Ordered at the kiosk and food was ready within 5 min! Great view of the patio for a great summer day!

Big Double Cheeseburger and a Cookies & Cream Shake

Food: I got the Big Double Cheeseburger and a Cookies & Cream Shake. The burger wasn't huge, but enough to fill most people especially if you have a side (fries, shake, etc.). The toppings tasted fresh and they did a great job of cooking the burger patties. In addition, the "Basic Sauce" complemented the burger perfectly. The shake was amazing too. It was thick (could be a negative if you prefer thinner shakes) and sweet, but not too much of either. The only complaint I did have was that the water cup I was given was about 2 inches tall. I know it has become common practice for some places to give smaller cups for water, but this was pretty excessive even by that standard. Service: You order off of a kiosk and take a buzzer that indicates when you pick up your food. Fairly simple process. Atmosphere: Indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a bar area with some TVs. The outside tables were fairly dirty, but nothing crazy. Overall, pretty nice setup. Great food for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be coming back

    Basic Bacon Cheeseburger

Burgers, Fries, Milkshakes. What more do you need? Came here for lunch to check the place out. It's self order via kiosks, pick up a number device, pick your seat, and get your food when the device vibrates. They have a few TV screens to show some of the sports game, but they're all by the bar. I got the Basic Bacon Cheeseburger ($9.79), which is topped with American cheese, smoked applewood bacon and served with their "Basic Sauce". Overall a really good burger. Tastes pretty high quality. I also got the Loaded Moo Fries ($8.15), which consisted of shoestring fries, chipotle ranch, crisp bacon, shaved Parmesan, chopped scallions, topped with a fried egg. Definitely the portion size is for two people. The fries tastes exactly like the fries from McDonalds, just a lot less salty, and with all the other ingredients that makes this "loaded". Highly recommend.

Basic Bacon Cheeseburger - Lettuce Bun
    Gillian S.

This place was a great choice if you are looking for a good simple burger and fast!! I went with my friends for a quick dinner and it was perfect! We ordered on the tablets and within minutes it was ready! I got the basic cheese burger in a lettuce bun.... delicious except next time I will probably stick with the normal bun... it was a little difficult to eat with the lettuce bun and I felt like it was just too much lettuce! My side was sweet potato fries and those were pretty good too!! All in all I would probably stop here again - they even have a little bar in the back where you can get beers or cocktails and watch some sports!!

Visited on 12/3/23. Nice clean spot with a good amount of seating in multiple TVs to watch football(I went on a Sunday). I had the big bacon double cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and a said of the house sauce. The service was quick and The burger was good, very flavorful. The sweet potato fries with the house dipping sauce was good as well. The fries were fried nicely and the sauce add a nice touch. All and all, will definitely try again

It only took a quick 10 minutes to receive our entire order, which was 3 burgers, a crispy fried chicken sandwich, loaded fries, and 2 milkshakes! I was very happy with how efficient the service was and the most important part, how delicious every bite was! The smashburgers are made with 100% halal beef and they come out HOT with perfectly crispy edges on the patties and a juicy center. We ordered 3 burgers and each of them stood out in their own way. You can get a single, double, or triple patty burger and add whatever toppings to it too. The jalapeño burger was the star of the show, it had a such a nice and spicy kick to it. I wasn't expecting much but this burger had HEAT! Another favorite was the Juicy Lucy. It was packed with grilled onions and the patty was stuffed with cheddar cheese. A super messy and cheesy option that was definitely worth every bite! I liked that Jon's Joint offered other options too such as loaded fries and fried chicken sandwiches. What I found unique is that for the loaded fries, you can get it with falafel and make it spicy! This time, they had run out of the falafel so I am excited to try it next time. If you're in Arlington and craving a casual burger spot, you need to go to Jon's Joint. You'll get quick service and a delicious meal!

You can tell the owner is really into Superheroes. I ordered the grilled chicken. The good thing is that it is cooked to order. Loved that. Downside, no seasoning, AT ALL. This would be fine, I understand dietary considerations with sodium. What had me perplexed was they had NO PEPPER in the entire restaurant. I've NEVER been at a restaurant that didn't have any pepper. Plenty of salt, seasoned salt and even more salt. No pepper. Burgers seem to be popular. Wasn't very crowded, but seemed popular by locals. It was a "meh" for me. I do however really like that the food is cooked to order.

They were fresh and delicious. Though I wish there was more variety as all the oysters picked for the happy hour were on the sweeter side. Would've been nice if one had more saltiness. I wanted to try the salty oysters so I ordered a half a dozen at $3.50 per oyster and those rocked too. I used lemon and hot sauce for my oysters and their homemade hot sauce rocks! The interior of the restaurant looks very nautical and fits with the seafood heavy menu. Also heard the burger and lobster rolls are good will have to try during another visit. Would come again. Maybe not for oysters but def to try other stuff on the menu!
