CHEESE & BACON FRIES
Orquidea R.

I was so hyped that a CC had opened close to me as I normally would travel a few miles when I have the cravings, This place has disappointed with the service and servings. When I have ordered fries I get very little and they take long to serve even when the place is empty. The cashier, who I have seen twice already is not friendly at all and lacks customer service. At least I know how to speak her language, but still, lacks professionalism when attending to the orders.

First time back in over a year.. employee at register couldn't speak or understand English.. I asked for a manager and she made it seem like it was my problem.. talk about losing a customer for life restaurant was kept clean, food was subpar.. they reheated the French Fries which tasted nasty..

Date, time and name of customer service cashier.

At 1:50 p.m., I visited this location because I've always received very good service. Today, I was treated very poorly. The cashier, Yesica, and the other girl who was at the front desk treated me very poorly. I asked Yesica for more ketchup, and she grabbed a bunch and threw them in my hand so hard that they fell onto the checkout counter. I asked her to please call the manager, and when the manager arrived, the other girl in front of the manager was laughing at the situation, and I felt all this was disrespectful. I came to buy something to eat, and they treated me disrespectfully. The worst part is that they don't even know how to speak English. I hope this doesn't happen again and that they definitely move these workers from the front desk to the back. I wonder, since when has the Virginia Department of Health not inspected this restaurant?

Good friendly counter staff. Clean dining room midday. Next time I'll ask for a side of cheese sauce. Great mozz sticks too.

They have breakfast, lunch, dinner and ice cream here! We got the Brooklyn Bridge and Breakfast…read moreCorned Beef Hash platter which were both delicious. The Brooklyn bridge sandwich had so many grilled onions, lots of mayo and was the star of the meal. I will order this when I come back next time. The corned beef hash was also good and had grilled onions and peppers in it. The portion size was huge, I had to take most of it home. We also got a half side order of latkes. Parking in the back. Chill vibes inside, no need to dress up.

After attending a nearby meeting it was time for lunch and I found Lazy Mike's…read more I'm definitely impressed, especially by the delicious cheesesteak and the great table service. I expected to come in and go up to a cashier to place an order, but at Lazy Mike's a young gentleman directed me to a table where another young guy took my order and waited on me. Service was excellent. The restaurant was busy with all the tables taken. The cheesesteak comes default with chips, but I upgraded to the latkes. The cheesesteak was served hot, fresh and tasty. The latkes were good and made even better by the sour cream and applesauce that came with them. There's outside seating in what looks like a shipping container. I notice that they have several flavors of their homemade ice cream that I will try on my next visit, because there will certainly be another visit.

Stopped in tonight with a few friends for a quick sando. I wasn't in the mood to cook and neither…read morewere my buddies, so we came here for an easy meal. I'm a big sandwich fan and generally make them at home because most shops don't add enough meet or toppings. I think I found my new sandwich shop. Checked out the menu and had to decide between the roast pork and broccolini or panko breaded fried chicken sandwich. Both sounded good, but after I found out the roast pork shoulder is made in house, the decision became really easy. My friends ordered the fried chicken with double chicken ($4.00 upgrade). The staff were very friendly and efficient. It was close to closing but everyone was super nice. They called us to pick up our orders and I was somewhat surprised by the feel of my sandwich. It has some heft to it. I sat down, opened it, and you can see what I had in the photo. Good bread can make or break a sandwich. My sandwich roll was slightly toasted with a good crunch and the inner part was nice and chewy. The sandwich had the perfect ratio of pork and broccolini and was covered in melted cheese and had a mayo/mustardy sauce. There was also just a touch of what tasted like crushed red pepper which just set the sandwich off. I was thinking Reading Terminal Market level of good. My buddies chicken sandwich was ridiculous. Two fried chicken breasts with all the toppings on a nice roll. It was tasty. This place is a real deal sandwich shop. The have the standard sodas and also have Dr. Brown's, Perrier water, San Pellegrino, draft beer, and other beers and seltzer drinks in cans. The chips are the Dirty and Route 11 chips. It's like they selected the best things to go with their sandwiches. Location is a little tricky to find and parking is tight, but it's totally worth the trip. I will definitely be back, but probably get everything to go. If you want a really good sandwich that is stuffed with filling for a fair price, you need to come here and try it out. You won't be disappointed!

I'd been craving a cheesesteak and figured I'd finally give this place a shot. Why I'd never been…read morebefore is beyond me. The place was packed, almost no open seats anywhere, but I managed to grab a spot at the bar. I went with the full OG Philly and some onion rings. The sandwich was massive. I almost couldn't finish half of it, and it turns out they sell them in half portions, which is the move next time. Everything else coming out of that kitchen looked just as good, and I'm already planning to work my way through the rest of the menu. Part of the fun is the room itself. It's a proper New York deli that's been around since 1975, with caricatures of famous faces painted across the walls and a "Barred Conversation List" chalkboard that's worth a read while you wait. I really enjoy places that look and feel like this. Worth the stop.

EDITED (see below)…read more WAY overpriced. Reuben was good, but meat lacked seasoning. Seriously?! At these prices!!! It was scorching hot when it comes out. Never had to wait for a deli sandwich to cool down before eating. Really disliked having to stare at my sandwich at a deli of all places, waiting for it to cool while I'm starving and the lunch clock is ticking. I got places to go. The thin bread falls apart too easily and combined with the pizza-commercial-like cheese pull after each bite with cheese hanging from my mouth to the sandwich, it was functionally very MESSY and difficult to sandwich to eat. I don't like eating sandwiches with a fork. And dont get me started with $10 small sized milkshake. It was an absolutely average milkshake. With a thin straw easily clogged. These prices are INSANE!!! I knew the prices were high going in, but I thought the quality and portions would match. There is a significant disparity between them, and I should be getting twice the amount of sandwich for these prices. Lastly the whole flow is very weird. The interactive website-menu is a disaster and confusing. It took over 10 minutes online just trying to find the menu before I arrived thinking I'd order at front counter and instead was told to take a seat. This really doesnt call for a waitress, an unnecessary markup (tips) to an already insanely expensive meal. Its like pseudo restaurant but its really just a deli sandwich shop. EDIT to owners reply: For a deli sandwich to be piping hot is unnecessary and its not a good thing. It suggests poorly trained cooks. It was a warning for other customers so they don't burn their tongue like I did on a freaking deli sandwich. Instead of leaning into the free customer feedback, they chose to brag about their flaws. So the problems are admitted features, not flaws, and further supports my evaluation. "Tiny portions relative to price." Does that make it more clear? While owner glosses over the huge portion sizes in photos on website/menu that are false advertising, and photos were only reason I thought the high prices might be justified before coming here. I only saw the actual (tiny) portion size when my food was delivered that I realized menu photos online had deceived me and the prices were insane for that reason. $21+ for a 1/4 lb half deli sandwich!?!? Insane! And centimeter-thick bread slices are also considered tiny portions. Nobody disputed weight of meat. Strawman. And it wasnt obvious the weight of meat on the already mentioned difficult to read website. Nobody's reading the fine print on a menu!! If it wasn't clear for me its likely unclear for others. should not have a cheese pull that requires utensils on a sandwich. Should not need utensils to eat a sandwich. Deli sandwiches shouldn't burn your mouth. And nobody disputed your sandwiches weren't "cooked fresh". Strawman.
