What is absolutely unacceptable is that the staff admitted they had known about this issue since early that morning, yet nobody bothered to notify us! When I asked why we hadn't received a phone call or email, they claimed they had called. I asked them to show me when and how they contacted me, but they couldn't provide any evidence of a call. Assistant Manager Emmanuel Garcia handled the situation very poorly, offering no meaningful solution or compensation. Instead, we were simply told we could pay to eat at the salad bar. Seriously? After wasting five people's time and ruining our lunch plans? I also question the leadership of General Manager Alan Da Silva. How can an upscale restaurant operate with such poor communication, irresponsible management, and complete disregard for customers' time? Kitchen problems can happen, but failing to notify customers, making excuses, and showing no accountability is completely unacceptable. There was decent flavors too. My only issue is the price. I'm won't be picking up food here anytime soon as I don't think the price is fair or accurate. I find this to be a running theme with one off family run businesses who have no experience or background in pricing. It's pretty clear that they don't bother doing enough market or competitive research. Instead they charge whatever they want. Until there's common sense prices I'm going to keep looking. I do recommend this place, please check them out if you can afford it because the food is great.
