Chicken Masala burger
Ryan K.

as a quick review and comparison to the udistrict location of burger & kabob hut: this unfortunately does not compare at all in my humble opinion. while the staff was nice and the ambiance was nice in the sense that the place was clean and large, i have to detract points for all of the chairs being up during business hours - leaving customers to lower them themselves and inherently causing a few to fall loudly on the ground as a result (happened to me and one other guest while i was there) it's not a huge problem, but i didn't see the reason for not atleast having a few chairs down for guests dining in, and that did detract from the ambiance for me. speaking to the chicken masala burger, which is of course a flagship menu item from the udist location, i just felt like it lacked the magic that it's university brother had. the bun was not as soaked in the juices of the meat, the meat was not as hot and dripping in melth cheeses and the delicious masala sauce and grease, for lack of a better term, and while this felt like a cleaner bite -- the best term i can think of is "gentrified". not as warm and greasy, not as melted cheese, and not as complete of a bite when considering taste and texture as a result. i don't want to take away from this establishment,m as it is still a great option for this variety of food in the area and the staff was quite nice to me while i was there, but i found the wait time for my burger to me a tad long, the ambiance to be lacking despite the nice large and clean establishment, and the burger to lack in flavor and texture when directly compared to the udistrict location of burger & kabob hut. even with its similar menu, i would always opt to go to that location instead, unfortunately. however, if you're in the area and don't feel like commuting what could be 50+ mins to UW, give this place a try! the flavor profiles are still unique and the menu is consistent with the sister(?) location. overall: 7/10 taste: 6/10 price: 9/10 i'm going to go ahead and round down to 3 stars until i come back to try this location again, i want to try a different menu item to compare my experience at a different time of day, so ill check in with that review when i have a chance :) until then, i would recommend the udist spot over this, but if you're craving burger & kabob hut and are limited to the eastside -- this could scratch that itch! :)

Chicken Malai Kabob and Achari Paneer Tikka

I have ordered takeout from this restaurant a few times now and service is usually pretty fast here. Some of my favorite choices have been: 1. Chicken Masala Burger / Chicken tunde kabab burger - Taste is pretty good most of the time but can be little oily/soggy 2. Chicken Malai Kabob - Very creamy and tender 3. Achari Paneer Tikka - Burst of flavors and not very spicy

A desi (Indian) burger joint on the Eastside. This was one of the places we used to visit in the University District and happy to have one back closer to home. My Favourites are Paneer Masala Burger which has delicious Paneer Kabab like pieces between a soft bun along with onions and other condiments. The other is Chicken Masala Burger which is a garam masala burger which has small pieces of chicken in a garam masala along with onions, tomato sauces and other condiments. Also, I bought chicken Karahi which was good but very very oily!

Bloody toilet seat Unsanitary AF

This place is unkept and has become a bit of an eyesore. The food has really gone downhill and the restaurant is gross inside. Staff is rude and the vibe is basically bright florescent lighting and nowhere to sit because they don't want to have to clean. The bloody toilet was the last straw I will never return

Unwanted ingredient

This place used to be so good. Not sure what has happened. We picked food to give it another shot, but were disappointed with quality and hygiene. We open our food and in a few bites, was greeted by a dead insect embedded. There burgers compare no wear near to what they serve at Seattle location. The bun quality is bad and gets soggy. I have tried giving verbal feedback couple of times, but the staff gets defensive. Hope they take things seriously.

I have never had Indian inspired burgers and I have been by this place so many times I figured it was time to give it a go. Now, if you have never had Indian inspired burgers, go here and try it it was an enlightening experience. Now to talk about the food. I want to be upfront here and say the flavor profiles are on point. These are really flavorful and delicious burgers. But there are a few things that I would consider upgrading. The thick cut fries are great but with just a little more time in the frier will definitely help keeping them crispy and not have a soggy center even after being laid out for a while. I could hope for a little seasoning or even options for seasoning on these. The bun I would definitely change. These feel like the store bought buns that were very well toasted and very soggy. If the food weren't to change I think a slight reduction on the pricing would make sense!

Double Cheeseburger

Indian-inspired burgers? I'm down. I never went to the University District location, but heard great things about Burger and Kabob Hut, so I was excited to check it out after it opened its Bellevue location. My friend and I visited Burger and Kabob Hut for dinner, as we were craving a good ol' burger and fries. We had planned to eat at my favorite burger spot in Bellevue, but it unexpectedly closed early. Therefore, we came to Burger and Kabob Hut. It was better than expected. We walked in on a Sunday night and the place was still pretty busy, even around 8PM, when everything else is closed around Bellevue. When we walked in, we could tell the place was a newer spot, since the TVs on the walls were still wrapped in plastic. Plus, when we attempted to order curly fries, the employee mentioned it wasn't yet available. Darn! My friend and I shared a double cheeseburger, paneer burger and fries. When we ordered, we were asked by the employee what kind of spice level we wanted on both of the burgers. We stuck with medium for both. Our takeout didn't take too long to get. The food was pretty good! Both burgers were delicious; and even the standard double cheeseburger had Indian spices to it, making it interesting, yet appealing. The paneer burger though was better! If you like paneer, I recommend trying this in a burger form, especially since it comes with a nice spicy chutney. It really added something special to the burger. Fries were basic, so can't wait 'til they have curly fries! I would definitely come back to Burger and Kabob Hut, especially for when I want an Indian-fusion kind of burger. The menu is pretty large, with many different burgers, from classic to unique Indian-inspired ones, as well as curries, naans, and milkshakes. Cool concept worth checking out.

Masala Wings
Smrithi S.

We have been going to their location in University district for a couple years now, while we love their burgers, we have always had to wait a long time to get food there. We were excited about having a new location in the eastside. This location is bigger and cleaner than the University district location. We ordered Chicken masala burger, onion rings, masala wings, and chicken karahi. The onion rings were great, and we enjoyed the masala wings. The burgers were good, the U district location burgers have been better. The chicken karahi was okay. Picking up food from this location during Covid times is not a good experience, we called in our order, and they didn't take our name or give us an order number. While masks are needed inside the restaurant, no social distancing is maintained. There are too many people waiting for their orders, some of them for partial orders. When the food is ready, they call out the items of the order, which makes is necessary to be closer to the counter to hear the order, making social distancing difficult. I got a part of my order and had to wait for the chicken karahi to be ready. Wish they had a better system to keep track of and call out orders.

Poor quality unhygienic food. Ordered paneer burger and spicy fries. The burger was too oily and fries were soggy and seemed stale.

I think these guys are not able to handle the traffic. They mismanage the order on regular basis, it doesn't seem professionally run.

I had not eaten yet, had only a mocha earlier, felt ravenous since it was already mid afternoon. So to make it worth the gas, toll, and time spent in traffic heading back west then north, I placed an order for two double cheeseburgers and one each of their chocolate and peanut butter milkshakes. On point, friendly customer service and efficient kitchen crew. Ambience - comfortably dated and clean. I was the only person there. But after using the restroom (note - very clean), there were at least five other people ordering or in line. Like mentioned before, the chocolate milkshake hit the spot driving back to Shoreline. After arriving at home, The Homie devoured his double cheeseburger and peanut butter milkshake. I added additional ketchup onto my burger and did the same. I'm sure it would have been superior eaten onsite. But retained its grilled, cheesy goodness with a one hour delay. Bellevue is lucky to have OG Broiler Bay!

The space is small but it doesn't bother us at all. The milk shake is good. Fries are amazing. And their sauces are all so good. When choosing the sauce for your fries, I highly recommend the garlic sauce. It is so good. The staff is also always very kind and friendly. We just love it. PLUS I noticed that they had this sign that said they do not use peanuts. So that's a big win for us as we have a kiddo with peanut allergy.

Loved the crispness of the tofu, crunchy veggies and the sweet and salty flavors oozing from the sauce. The Kanna Akuma is for folks who like it spicy-- there's a lot of jalapeños so beware! The fries were crispy with a nice earthy-with-a-kick Indian masala flavor! Not much of a dine-in experience just so you know. Its more of a pick up joint. I placed my order online and it was ready at the estimated time. My bill came up to $34 total, but these are specialty burgers so it makes sense. I would totally recommend this to a friend. And looking forward to trying other items on their menu.

I love going to local brewpubs and microbreweries when traveling. So when I saw this location of…read moreBellevue's largest microbrewery, my wife and I had to stop in for an early lunch with a sampling of beers. The food and beers were great. As the name states, the very large brewpub is located in the Spring District, inside the park/greenspace. The district used to be an industrial area, that has been transformed into a mixed residential/retail area, centered around the light rail transit station. The brewery makes great use of the outdoor space, with a lot of seating for an impromptu biergarten on nice days. This Tuesday was a typical March day in Seattle, which meant dining inside was a must. We ended up finding street parking a couple of blocks away, though they do have validated parking: in the underground parking right below (with under 10 dedicated spots) and the bigger Spring district Parking garage nearby. Amanda was our server, and she was super friendly, giving us suggestions. They have a large selection of house brewed beers, and we chose eight of the non-IPA ones as two flights, consisting of 4 5oz glasses (assuming it cost $12). We tried the Harvest Boom P.O.G. Wheat (this was our favorite one), Bothell Brown (liked this one), Snake Charmer Irish Red (strangely very mild for a Red), ChugMeister Mazren Lager (my second favorite). Second flight consisted of 1882 Pre-Prohibition Lager (very crisp and light), Muckle Flugga Scotch Ale (really like Scotch Ale in general, though hard to find on the West Coast...thought this version was OK), Schwarzbier Black Lager (different, very mild, really enjoyed), and a Der Kommissar Pilsner (super light with no body). I don't think I've been able to choose two flights of non-IPA in-house beers before...they keep a very large selection here, and it's worth coming to, just for the draft beers. We ordered some bar food that both of us like, and each plate was excellent. Shareable thick cut fries ($11) was very filling, especially since they were fried very well and were sturdy enough for dipping. Got Scotch Ale Chili ($13) and it was hearty, with plenty of pinto beans and good ground beef, with not too much chili powder. It came with housemade tortilla chips, which were thin and excellent. Wanted to try their beef birria, ordered their birria Nachos ($19) and it was really well prepared. Everything was diced into small pieces, used a really good beer cheese sauce and the the fresh guacamole was solid. For a brewpub, it has excellent bar food. The portions were large...we ended up taking about half of it home. Next time, will stay longer and try some of their main course dishes. The room was modern with plenty of windows for natural light. The central bar is huge, but there are plenty of bar tables as well, letting patrons decide how they want to dine/hang. My only complaint was that the payment process was at the table with only a tablet, and gave me no chance to look at the receipt. The total seemed right and was expecting a chance for receipt, but Amanda grabbed the tablet after my tip and signature before I could ask for a digital receipt, and then disappeared. I suppose I could have tracked her down, but getting a receipt after a meal should not be that hard. Can't remember the last time I was out, and couldn't get a receipt easily...would have made this review a bit easier.
