One of my favorite places in Camarillo. Service is great and the food is excellent. Always get a cheeseburger with bacon and have never had a problem ordering food here as the consistency is excellent. Definitely recommend! read more

Great place for a great tasting juicy burger. This place knows what their doing. Don't forget the fries always crisp on the outside & soft in the inside! read more

I love their Terriaki Burger and the breakfast burrito! Whenever I'm up early enough and going to be in the Mission Oaks area, I like to treat myself to a burrito. The price can't be beat for breakfast either. I think it's a little under $4. My friends and I have loved going here since we were in high school. There is a nice selection of arcade type games for the kids too and they often support local youth sport teams. read more

We love burger barn. The burgers are very good. Cooked just the way we ask too. I found a great chicken sandwich also. It's made with Swiss cheese, bacon and avocado. It's so good. The fries are also my favorite too. Not too greasy and they always give us a little extra when we order. The garden salads are amazing too!! We never have any problems with the food. Always yummy and delicious!! Thank you so much. Will be a customer forever. read more

I have known The Burger Barn for almost 2 decades and I was going there at least once a week during the 5 years I was working in Camarillo. It was excellent and 5 stars all the way. But I haven't been there for 3 years until last week. I ordered a burger with cheese, the quality of ingredients were about average but it smelled and tasted like BBQ fuel, I ate less than half and tried to complain but there 3 others ahead and I really didn't have the time. It seems to me and that's just my opinion, they are neglecting the quality and process of their food. I'm not sure why but they aren't as good as they used to be and that's sad. I rather pay double than going to in-n-out but on the other hand at in-n-out you don't get to ingest BBQ fuel. I'm sorry to see one my favorite burger joint is becoming careless in how they process the food. read more

Nice little Burger place here in Camarillo. Prices are reasonable and you do feel like you're in a barn of sorts while dining in here. I never heard of this place until a couple of coworkers wanted to drop by here before hitting the golf range during our lunch hour. The place was hustling and bustling with folks from all walks of life. You had guys in suit and ties, some in flip-flops and rocking their videogame tshirts. There are two lcd screen tuned to ESPN & ESPN 2 when we came in. The food was pretty good. I ended getting the fried egg burger and it was decent. The egg was a little over cooked so the yolk wasn't running but it was a very good burger. Not bad for $5.45. We're planning to come back here again for lunch this coming friday before taking a few swings at the driving range. read more

Absolutely perfect. I rarely give 5 stars to anything, and I would give it 10 stars if I could. I had my "last meal" in Camarillo here before I moved to San Francisco. The breakfast burrito is heaven. The prices are unbeatable (3 bucks for a HUGE burrito! Awesome!) I think that basically Burger Barn rocks my world. Their cheese burgers (and hamburgers) are tasty, their onion rings are yummy, french fries crispy and good. I obviously haven't had everything on the menu, but if you eat any of the 5 things I have listed and add the teriyaki burger that my friend loves, you have a great breakfast or lunch! Burger Barn, thank you for being so amazing, thank you for getting me though many a hung over of mornings and not caring that I am in the same clothes from the night before, thank you for being you. read more

This place is a delicious hole in the wall. Their breakfast is excellent!! Pancakes are delicious. Breakfast croissant is so good. And then their burgers are like a better version of a good ol house burger. read more

The burgers here are probably some of the best in Ventura County by far. How ever the reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because the chili cheese fries are horrendous. Hands down the worst I have ever had. Looks like ground beef with some crappy seasoning on it. But if u love grease them this is for you because all the grease the use to cook in puddles up at the bottom of the bowl and will defanitly turn you stomach. So in other words stay away from there chili cheese fries it's a waste of money and taste like crap! And the restroom was extramly dirty water and paper towels and tissue paper all over the floor. read more

I love this place! I used to work down the street and ate their all the time, now when I am in the area I always stop by! The best food ever!! Super nice staff! Delicious food! The best!! read more

Good, solid burger. Some might not even now about this little gem, tucked away in an unassuming parking lot behind a bank and a liquor store. But if you're a true Camarilloite (MOB, represent), you know all about the barn. If I had to compare it to another burger joint, I'd compare it to the Habit... but this place has way more personality, the way a whole-in-the-wall might have more responsibility than a textured and painted white wall. I'd choose this place over The Habit every time. read more

I get burger barn all the time and I absolutely love it but today I ordered a chili cheese omelette it came in a pool of grease the grease was soo bad it ruined my appetite to eat this isn't the first time I've got something in a pool of grease from this place hopefully they can change this problem read more

Called to order & just answered the phone & said please hold, so i did for 5min. Hung up the phone dialed again & rang a long time no answered at all. Terrible food!!! I have never rated a restaurant below 3 stars and I am not a picky eater but I have no idea how people can rate this place 3 stars and above, those people must not eat out much. I ordered a milkshake and camarillo burger and it cost $9 which is a little pricey so I was expected something descent. In comparison you get a delicious burger and shake at Stacked for around $10 and you can get a combo an in and out for $7 both light years better than Burger Barn. The milkshake was seriously the worst I ever had, watered down no flavor so I sent it back and told them it was awful and they told me I was not the first person to say that. I mean it is pretty sad when every fast food restaurant in town makes a better milkshake than this place, I mean really how hard is it to make a descent milkshake? Now the burger tasted like it was frozen and had no seasoning on it.. DO NOT waste your money here in and out is way better as is any other place that serves burgers in town. Absolutely flavorless burger, small and terrible milkshake= I will never be back here again. read more

If I could give the chorizo breakfast burrito negative 5 stars I would. Who puts sliced American cheese in a burrito? And the chorizo was questionable. May have been dog food. read more

Thank goodness for GPS: while heading up to Santa Barbara on the 101, the wife mentioned she had a hankering for a burger. 30 seconds later, my screen set to Show POI Icons, my pointer clicked on the icon for Burger Barn. "Four stars with 22 reviews," said the wife. I quickly crossed over four lanes of freeway to the off-ramp (sorry beeping car drivers!) and fifteen minutes later I was devouring an Ortega Swiss burger. So glad we got the onion rings, because they were outstanding. The inside of Burger Barn is befitting its name and nothing much to look at, but the service is very friendly. Food is delivered quickly, plenty of parking in the strip mall, no muss, no fuss. I will probably stop off again the next time we're heading northbound. read more

I'm always on the lookout for one-of-a-kind, hole-in-the-wall places to try out. So, I was pretty excited to try Burger Barn. Tucked inside a tiny strip mall, Burger Barn seemed like a place that could have a knockout burger. It didn't. The burger, fries and a drink were a good value at ~$6, but uninspiring. The burger patty tasted like the bulk frozen patties you buy from Costco for a group BBQ. The fries were pedestrian. The Burger Barn menu did have a good looking breakfast menu. Next time I need a breakfast burrito, I'll check them out. Bottom Line: A place called Burger Barn should have better than the 5th best burger in Camarillo. 15 October 2010 Update: I stopped by here to try the breakfast burrito. I tried it with bacon. The bacon was good. The potatoes-good. The eggs and salsa-good. The cheese-American. Why would you ruin a perfectly good anything by adding American cheese? I'm bumping the Barn up a star because the breakfast burrito and drink came to $5.03. And because while I sat eating my burrito, the woman behind the counter greeted at least 5 people by name and asked if they wanted their usual order. It does seem like a community joint, if not a very good one. read more

So, I have eaten here twice so far. I live right behind the joint and smell them cooking burgers every day. I have walked over and had lunch. Both times the burgers would good and the fries hot. Even the drinks were all you can drink.Over all it is worth supporting local places. My biggest irk about the place is this. I was half way done with my burger and my hands were dripping with grease. I looked at my tray and NO napkin! On the table NO napkins. I looked around the area and NO napkins. ANYWHERE!!!! NONE!!!!! A couple of young twinks were siting at the next table and I heard one twink saying he worked there part time so I asked the twink what a guy had to do to get a NAPKIN. He said that the twink serving the food should have put a couple on my tray when he called my order. He was nice enough to go get me a couple. Other than that every thing was good. I like the home feel of a small grill and I will be back again. There appears to be a lot of young twinks hanging out there though. read more

Always a great meal for a decent price. Love the breakfast, best deal in Camarillo for a sit down family owned place . Great daily specials and you can't go wrong with their burgers , hence the name. Been stopping by here for many years . Thanks Burger Barn!!! read more

We recently discovered Burger Barn tucked into a corner of an unassuming strip mall. The place is very casual and has a small town feel. Customers and staff all seem very familiar with each other and everyone is friendly. I have to say, the burgers are fantastic. My favorite so far is the blue cheese burger. I've had it twice so far. Both times, the burger was cooked perfectly. The blue cheese was piled on generously and the lettuce and tomato slice were absolutely fresh. We definitely recommend Burger Barn. It's the best choice in the area. read more

My absolute favorite for breakfast. Can not beat the taste or price. Super friendly staff, like eating at your moms house.

Good store bought, prepared food! Service is friendly. Food is ok. Average home cooked burgers and fries you'd buy from Costco or Smart and Final. Prices are a little high for my taste. If you get the special you'll save a little bit but not a lot. read more

3 Stars=A-OK. And that's about right. Decent food although not the best. I've eaten here numerous times and I know what to expect: Decent food at a doable price. It is an old school 1985ish diner, with a lot of choices on the menu. I enjoy the breakfasts most, although their lunch menu is good enough in a pinch I would recommend this place, but keep your expectations in check--the food is decent, not gourmet. Think of fast order chefs flipping stuff on a greasy griddle to get the picture read more

The wife and I stopped in for their breakfast burrito one morning. There was no one in line in front of us and only a handful of people sitting down in the restaurant. About five minutes after we order one of the people got up and was extremely angry and demanded their money back because it was taking so long. It took another 30 minutes for the other people to be served their order before we got our food. When we finally got our food it was cold!!! The cheese wasn't melted and our potatoes we ordered on the side were cold and soggy. Pass this place by, you'll thank me later. read more

After living in Camarillo for a year I moved again, and discovered this place just around the corner from my new place. Tastiest burger and turkey burgers I've ever had. Charbroiled to perfection, not too dry and you can't beat the price. I've also tried a vanilla shake and their fries - yum! You might snub In N Out after this place. I can't wait to try other items like the breakfast burrito. Plenty of options for your burgers or hot dogs too like the Camarillo burger and other assorted names. The menu doesn't detail what they each are, but the guy at the register knows it by heart. read more

Decent burger. I thought the mushroom on the burger was over the top.

I've eaten here hundreds of times. Unfortunately, I don't live right next to it anymore. I absolutely love the teriyaki tri-tip sandwich, and their fries are super yummy. They also serve up delicious breakfast here and the hamburgers are huge and juicy. I knocked off one star because the place itself is really only geared for the under 15 set. Video games and gumball machines ensure that every time you are in here you will be bombarded by noise from all the kiddies hanging out. Good if you want somewhere to take the kids, but otherwise get your food to go. read more

This is my lunch time go to place. The people there are friendly and the food is amazing. The specials are priced right and always yummy. i don't think i had a burger that wasn't good. My wife I went to Burger Barn for dinner during the week and had a great experience. The burgers we got were outstanding, they were big and very tasty.
